Hi Chigszy,

Tell me about your romantic scenarios......or what your definition of being romantic is.....that might help us. Also, why is it that you attract such Nigerian men?  wink

Can't believe it's taken you this long to realize it....ol'boy, move on, there are many more sweet girls/ ladies you will meet. And while you are meeting them (old or young ones), not all of the so-called "sweet girls" will like you, it's that simple.

Romance / Re: Can you Date your Ex-Lover's Brother or Sister? by babadudu(m): 8:43pm On Jul 01, 2005
No, I can't date my ex-lover's sister. what sister in her right mind will do such a thing? At some point, my ex and I have had feelings for each other, shared special moments together and all....all of a sudden I'm trying to experience the same thing with my ex's sister? In the event that it does happen, I know the relationship with my ex's sister won't lead to anything serious.
Family / Re: Life At 30 When You're Not Married by babadudu(m): 8:31pm On Jul 01, 2005
Life in general can and should be the best times...there's always going to be pressure from everyone around you...why are you still single? then when you are married..the question becomes why aren't you popping out the babies? etc.
That's life, I guess...just live life and enjoy every bit of it...and have fun doing it too. smiley

Romance / Re: Who should be the provider in a relationship? by babadudu(m): 3:07pm On Jun 30, 2005
Every relationship is different...in the event that a woman is the major provider in a relationship (Financially) we (Men) should put aside our ego and pride and accept it for what it is....that being said grin, I would be the provider in my relationship and I will do whatever it takes to provide for my family...gbabeski!

Babadudu,

U dey hard small o! Haba!

How about if you really love the babe? U mean you'll let go?

Ok Nairalanders how about if the other person is a widower/widow? Will you still go ahead? Bear in mind that you love him/her so much.

Dablessed,

I hear you oo...and that's why I mentioned until I'm faced with it real life (which I doubt).
question for you is - would you say love is a choice?
Music/Radio / Re: Listen to Yoruba Radio online by babadudu(m): 2:23pm On Jun 30, 2005
I listen and request songs without any problem. For any Kegites that went to Ife...I can't stop listening to Gbenga Allison's Touch & Go. He's raw/ unrefined but it just brings back memories of "boys night out" at the beer parlor.

This is going to be a tough match, I foresee it will end in penalty shoot-out. I really don't trust the flying eagles to give it their best, Sorry but that is how I feel. We can only pray.

Prayer would not work in this situation...it's the efforts that the players bring to the field that will determine the outcome smiley

You are very wrong my dear, prayer works in every situation, it just depends on the quality of your prayer. Besides, nobody said the players aint going to make an effort to win, nobody want to be a loser, you know!
[/quote]

Prayer works in every situation...true. The point I'm trying to make is just praying in this situation would not work. If you feel it will, try just praying for a big exam without studying for the exams. Try praying so hard without opening a single page of your textbook...go sit for the exam and tell me if you wouldn't get a big fat zero. It's okay to pray for the strength or knowledge to read and understand...but to pray to pass the exam without studying? You get the my point now?

If such a thing happens to me, It will be as if the ground should open up and swallow me. I will just get out of the hall to start crying and asking God Why?Why?Why did you bring me shame on my day of glory?cry

woaw, all that just because your heels broke? Why not just remove the other shoe, get your award, and even joke about how anxious you were to receive the award that you broke your heel.

when you are faced with a real life situation, in most cases, what you think you'll do is different from what you'll actually do. That being said, I would not marry a person with a son from a previous relationship... keeping up with a relationship is hard enough. What happens if I discipline the boy and the mother feels I'm mistreating her son because I'm not the biological father. It'll definitely cause friction in the relationship.

I wonder there's so much hype about these games. it's just under-20 not our senior team. BTW, you should be ashamed of the boys. the old men had to go to penalties? against teenagers?

well, the rest of the world including me has been watching the confederations cup [brazil kicks ass. adriano rulez] and nobody here seems to be talking about that.

Why would we be talking about the Confederation cup when Nigeria is playing....even if it's the "just under-20 not our senior team" that's playing? Is Nigeria in the Confederation Cup?

I'm a 15 year old girl. I'm in love with a guy of 28. Right or wrong?

I would say this....if you were my sister, I would not agree with the relationship. I would think the 28 year old is taking advantage of you...especially, considering this may be your first major relationship. You may think you are in love....I have my doubts though, only time will tell.
Romance / Re: You Find your Ex and Former Best Friend Married ... by babadudu(m): 5:54pm On Jun 23, 2005
It will be a strange and uncomfortable meeting not just for me but probably for the other 2 involved. Most married guys in that situation (myself included) would want to know what kind of relationship she had with this Ex-boyfriend, who so happened to be my former best friend.
