Yes, he's dead. Libyans finally got their freedom after 42 yrs.
Nobody is going to live forever.
Now with all the POWER, GOLD, DIAMOND and MONEY he accumulated and fought for for over 42 years, Gaddafi will be dropped in a hole just like any other Libyan citizen with nothing.

When are we, Nigerians are going to get our freedom from this group of vicious criminals that call themselves leaders?
You and your father that cum into ur imbe<ile mother are fo0ls family of commotion for asking such 1diotic question. You are jubilating over what u only read on cnn and coming here to ask mumu question. You should be put to death by rat poisoning.

Some staged drama here unfolding. Who's suing who and on what ground? Nigerians are not fools. This disgraceful Igbogbo/Ikorodu man who is not worthy to be called a dad should go home and bury his head in shame for his disgraceful act.  Just another means to bury his illict drug peddling allegations. Its a NDLEA vs ANTP collabo!

I know we all have our own opinions, did you see my last paragraph of the post?

We Nigerians want to make our artistes go global and we don't push the ones that can do the job, we keep pushing the home based winners. That formula won't work.

Obviously, Ice Prince will win best rap album in all the award shows this year to the next. That means we should start pushing him to Roc Nation to sign him? Lets stop deceiving ourselves.

Modenine was clear in his delivery and he has lived in Nigeria since he was a child. He doesn't even speak pidgin english well some years ago yet he has good rap skills, word plays and what have you. Just buy his album and see whats in it. He probably has rapped over the widest range of topic in our society, from football, scam, social vices and all. He did everything just well. Why the beef?

M.I., no one was a better M.I. fan than me when he started coming up. I reference his first single and video 'crowd mentality' as a class act. He still has not disappointed me but when i see people say he is  better than Mode, then i have a problem with that. Let him enjoy his time, he deserves it and i am still a fan.

But remember, when Mode  9 had his chance in the past, he enjoyed it as well taking awards and churning out good videos, go check out Nigerian girls, cry, elbow room, those songs have nothing in common and they all represent pure genius!

Counter my arguments again,  I will get back but before then check out his Otis remix with terry tha rapman counter me again after listening, http://www.notjustok.com/2011/10/19/exclusive-terry-tha-rapman-modenine-otis/ [flash=200,200]http://www.notjustok.com/2011/10/19/exclusive-terry-tha-rapman-modenine-otis/[/flash]

So you actually believe that Mode 9 can go pound for pound with Mos Def, Talib, KRS1 or Nas? Quit with the jokes hommie
YES!!!! If he is in the right competing environment. There are 100's of American rappers that aren't even spitting what mode9 spits. I think you need to download mode9's free albums and get copies of his album to know how "discouraging" mode9 can be to upcoming rappers or better still refer to the "Best rap punchline threads" and see wetin man pikin dey talk.

Skii:
I think Mode9 is over hyped
I'll assume u speaking ironically or else. . . . . .smh

yd849ja:
To start with do you even listen to rap at all? Because to be honest with you your opinion to me sounds like rubbish on this topic. Did you even watch the whole show? Saying Nigerian Cypher is the worst, shows how inept and baseless your judgement is. Did you see the UK, and some other American cities? They were whack and whack is even an understatement. I'll rate the Nigerian cypher 2nd (because of MI, Mode9 and maybe Sauce kid)after Eminem and Joe Budden's then third on the list would be them Chris brown and Kevin McCall's and the UK cypher should be last. Please give those guys their well deserved credit, they delivered as expected. Stop belittling 9ja!!!

And I don't get it why you guys like throwing dirt on M.I. when he obviously had the best delivery on the whole cypher. He is the most versatile rapper in Nigeria (and y u think commercial rap is nothing beats me when the best rapper alive is also into commercial: EMINEM)

Mode 9 no doubt ranks high up there but to be honest with you MI shut him down on that cypher- All those stuff about you got air fare ticket u not gonna fly didn't cut it for me.

And stop the cypher story telling definition blah blah stuff> CYPHER is what you make it mate. go listen to Budden, McCall and Eminem.
@Bolded. . . . . . . . Did u mix up the nameshuh I'm confused bro.

well sir, you are entitled to your Opinion, i take it as this is your just as A Well respected Dj and Radio Personality in the Uk said he believes the Nigerian BET Cypher beats most of the American ones he's seen,
I do not agree with you that rhyming always has to tell a story, it could just be like and "Oriki" sort off, hyping yourself and letting other cats know you are taking over or that you are the best as long as it makes sense and tight, rhymes just as well with good punchlines, BET CYPHER is as good as any other, u over critical Nigerian
(typically Nigerians fail to see whats good about themselves and like to praise imported stuffs)

I agree with you OP. X.O is forcing it too much. He should form a rhythm in his head and try create some suspense like mode did. Mode9 brought tragedy to the cypher, Ice prince brought "baba suwe" comedy.  grin

Yeah! Too much forcing by X.O, he needs to create a melody with his delivery and create a story line.

Please if you don't mind I would appreciate if you can name any war free from crimes like these? Just one!! grin
Well, none actually but the fact that one is reading and picturing how gruesome it is and below it someone is making it look like its all good. Lastly, the last part of ur comment just didn't do it for me. It is not Ghadaffi thats ain't do what he ought to do. Its not Ghadaffi Vs his Pple. And that Jonathan is right at joining hands with those criminals at the time he did just didnt do it for me, sorry bro.

Please tell me what is different between what these rebels did and what you brothers (Hausa and Yoruba) did during the Nigeria Civil war? Did you people and the world disowned Nigerian government for that? Please poo happens in war am sure that Gaddaffi forces may have similar gory tales to tell. The bottom line is war is evil and Jonathan not discrediting the rebels will never change the atrocities that are unspoken of in any war, be it a war that involves the U.S.A or the Somalia rebels. So please keep your emotions in check and stop blaming Jonathan coz am sure if Gaddffi did what he ought to do am sure Libya wouldn't have found herself in this mess.
What has the civil war got to do with this that is happening decades after it, bro??  You should be tied to a tree and violated with that your computer keyboard and at last chopped up like beat sample and your body part used as a firewood to cook as your name implies. Anofia

the entire thing is useless. rapping is neither our style nor our culture. copycats don't fly well in my books. dat nigerian tongue is not made for rapping, abeg. let's stop deceiving ourselves.

the nigerian music industry is reverting to a style that did not work during its budding stage; now that it has enjoyed some limited success, many of these rappers are now complacent, as in they are trying to copy all these yankee rappers.

the use of pidgin english helped propel nigerian music to its current level, and now these copycat rappers are trying to be some american gangsta they are not. so much for low self esteem.

I personally don't listen to any nigerian rapper that tries to be american; if the style is not nigerian, count me out. my 2 cents. oya, let the abuses begin.
