What baffles me is how some of my Yoruba people are packaging Tinubu.
Before this time many of us from south/west condemned him because of his criminal, corruption and God fatherism ways in Lagos.
I live in Lagos for good 2 decades, most of the real infrastructures began with Fashola, Ambode and down to Sawon-Olu.
This man called Tinubu has milked Lagos than u can imaging. That's remind me of the those days of Senator Olushola Saraki (Bukola's father) in KWARA State.

But PMB nepotism makes every region in Nigeria now supporting their own.
But to move this country forward we have to choice competence and loyalty.
Someone that can delivered, someone with straight record, some who is healthy and fibrant.

That's why we all need to vote that one man, man of the people, man that is willing to transform the nation and not that one that thinks is his turn (emilokan).

Even though I had vowed to myself never to bring family issues to this forum, I just have to vent this out.

I am 23, a male from the North. I come from a family of 6, in which I'm the eldest of my siblings (all my younger siblings are girls).

In 2019, my cousin brother, who is way younger than me (he was 14) came to start living with us just a year after his dad died.

Prior to his dad's death, we never spoke to each other whenever I visited his mom (my paternal aunt).

His dad was someone who was quite doing well for himself before death took him away from us (he was working with NNPC).

After his death, his family were divided (he had three wives in which 2 had died earlier. My aunt was the second wife).

His children from his first wife lay claims that my aunt killed Thier mom (who had died way before 2004), and even the third wife (who died in 2018).

Even though his wealth was shared according to Islamic rites, they were still not contented even though they had the lion share.

Well, just months after my uncle's death, my aunt decided to get married! (Just imagine someone being accused of killing her husband and her co-wives fa).

Even though my dad (her elder brother) was against the decision, she even went as far as went to her mom in the village and was crying when her mom rebuked her for her intending action.

At the end, she got her way, and remarried to a police officer.

The worst part is, she is still living in her former husband's house, while she visits her new husband in his house (they are very close to each other. Much like she got married to her neighbor! Since his house is just a stone throw from hers).

Well, to cut the story short, she has 3 kids (all male) for her deceased husband, the eldest being 14. The eldest son was sent to come live with us since their rooms have been given out to their elder brothers as part of their own inheritance (her kids only inherited money and the man had over 4 properties in strategic locations).

Constitution isn't the problem but the parties to the constitution. Constitution can be amended at any time to meet the needs of the time. The problem is that Nigeria doesn't produce enough to earn forex apart from the dwindling oil revenues. No more industries, uncultivated arable lands, archaic livestock rearing system, lack of incentives and enabling environment for SMEs, wasting marine resources, untapped mineral resources, etc has little to do with constitution.

If you say the constitution is not part of the problem of Nigeria, then you are not truthful and and part of the problem as well.

It is Peter obi i pity the most. If you people can recall like few months ago. I stated on this forum how Peter will ended humiliated, insulted and embarassed if he continued on the attention seeking campaign of his, jumping from one media to media, selling himself cheap - all in a bid to invoke public sympathy. I was vindicated and my thought was justfied after what happened yesterday during the debate. It was more of a 'wetin your eyes dey find, na im your eyes go see'.

The thing is that in Nigeria Political world, public sympathy can never translate to votes. The strategies, the plans and the tactics deployed matters. Reason why you see a certain Asiwaju Jagaban crossing the lenght and breadth of this country seeking endorsements with real voters not going after validations through a debate, from people who will be sitting in front of same TV throughout the day of election. About 70% of the registered voters were not even aware that any debate took place. It shows the irrelevance the comedy show called debate holds in voters influence.

Peter Obi have alot of things to learn politically, so is his ignorant supporters. They both share same amateurish trait not worthy of a player in a Nigeria political contest.

Atiku is finally getting the point, he is finally coming into contact with reality on ground. Tinubu' surely leads, others follows. Ask around and enquire more what Asiwaju means - He is the leader of men. And leaders dont chase winning, they only do everything possible never to lose.

Stop this high sounding words. What Nigeria needs is a president who will say to hell with oil earnings which by the way is dwindling so fast. A president who will actively diversify the economy in collaboration with state governors who often lack such initiatives. Note that any attempt for any FG to act in silo with its diversification initiatives without state governors like Buhari did will never achieve much.

Nigeria is a country with so much young population and so much agricultural, livestock, marine, mineral, human capital resources and massive entrepreneurship drive but so much unproductivity (joblessness) and waste of resources due lack enabling environment.

Let's produce to dominate West African market and then Africa up to the world stage to earn forex and become prosperous once again. A country with money reinvests in education, infrastructure, health, etc. to become more prosperous.

I am not sure you read what he wrote or you read but didn't understand, he said exactly what will help Nigeria. What Nigeria needs is to trash this rubbish we call constitution, and really start afresh.
