I don't understand MTN anymore. I recharged 1k and checked my credit balance and there was no mention of bonus balance which is unusual.Maybe they've simply stopped displaying bonus balances .

I'm on the beta talk plan and have just realized that I I've not be given any bonuses for my last two recharges. Has the bonus scheme been discontinued. If that's the case then I can jump ship ASAP. Anybody knows.

They delivered a wrong package, it wasn't as if I cancelled the order. There are other people complaining about the same on their twitter handle.

I see it as they're scamming people of their hard earned money. People ordered for phone and Jumia delivers USB cord, ear piece and the likes you know they don't pay the same amount of custom fee for phone, USB cord and ear pieces they're delivering as phones.

Jumia is okay.I get all my electronic items and phones from them.Theit customer service is top notch as long as you are not trying to be funny or deceitful.Many of the bad stories around are from people trying to be tricky. I'm typing this on the umidigi A7 pro I got from them six days ago

The phone is very good for the price and very smooth in operation ,I had to input airtel's apn manually but the 4g is really fast. My accessories seller insisted the phone is not Chinese but American made because of the build quality. I'm not really into photography but the camera seems decent to me
Watching films on the device is a pleasure as the colour is vivid and the sound through professional headphones is clean,crisp and fat. It's a good buy overall

I got the phone a week ago, very nice indeed. Complaints on nairaland against Tecno,xiaomi and umidigi devices cannot be trusted right now because of the fracas going on.

How's the battery and how effective is the solar charge?

it charges very well as long as you put the panel in a good spot, it would not charge well in a less than optimum spot.The battery is good but anyway if there's any problem with it, you just contact Lumos for a replacement. Also try to be on the beta talk tariff so you can get most of your calls free.
