Pls can it work for me?
The TV has to be below 60 watts, in fact it is better for the combined wattage of the TV and the decoder to be around sixty watts.

You are lucky to understand the need to change at your relatively young age.You cannot force someone to forgive you but you can let the person know that you have changed by living a better life and communicating with your uncle once or twice a year seeking his forgiveness and wishing him well. You need to learn a new skill or vocation.,you. should not rely on a cleaning job for ever.Think of something you really like doing ,it could be cooking, interior decoration anything you really like and then enrol on a course for it.You could become a commis chef with just some determination and hard work. From there you would have a career.Good luck to you.

PoliticsRe: The Ekumeku Resistance: How Igbos Defended Their Homeland Against Britain by Babalegba(m): 11:28pm On May 14, 2020
Igboid:
Was there really a resistance to the British from the Caliphate? When you are used to having people rule over you, its always easier to accept colonialism which is just another group of rulers, than when your society is built on freedom equality of all, and republicanism, you always going refuse to go down without a fight.
Actually there is no successful leaderless people on the planet even the Jews asked God for a king. All men are created equal but some are leaders, even the twelve apostles have Peter. There is no successful land where all the people are equal in rank. It was very easy for the British to administer the north because the apparatus were already in place, they just had to put themselves at the top. It was actually the machine gun that pacified the northerners, that was why they all ran away when the British wanted to take a photograph with them later, the camera tripod resembled a machine gun tripod. Anyway failure was inevitable for any resistance in Nigeria because British firepower was immense and they would have defeated even a combined north and southern Nigerian army in days not even weeks. It was like a lion fighting a cat. Can you fight a canon with a Dane gun and cutlass. Even the coastal dwelling yorubas like the egbas and ijebus with more sophisticated guns would have been heavily defeated in hours.

Igboid:
Your teacher must be half baked if he didn't teach you about Aro-Anglo war that raged on for year and the Ekumeku resistance. There are no stronger resistance in the entire Nigeria than those two.
Keep deceiving yourself, you need a national centralized army and therefore a king and a general to resist effectively. I'm Yoruba but can tell you that the most effective stubbornly military campaign against the British came from the north. You cannot have military weight without centralized leadership
PoliticsRe: The Ekumeku Resistance: How Igbos Defended Their Homeland Against Britain by Babalegba(m): 9:32pm On May 14, 2020
Lol, grin Aba women's riot, I mean war all over again. I've read Nigerian history extensively for more than forty years and never came across any mention of well organized military effort against the British from ibos. In fact organized military campaigns against the British came from the north but they succumbed to the machine gun. The yorubas were too preoccupied with fighting themselves and did not field a United army so the town's like ijebus that confronted the British were defeated quickly. History is too important to be messed with. The problem is that ibos at the time lacked central leadership so there was no King and a United national army so any opposition to the British would have come from area boys and hotheads in the town's. You cannot call that a war.

PhonesRe: How To Tell If This Phone Is A Refurbished Or Original London Used? (Photo) by Babalegba(m): 12:33pm On May 12, 2020
An official refurbished phone is better than a UK used one as long as the price reflects it's history. You guys should stop confusing yourselves. In theory a refurbished phone from the company should perform as a brand new one while the UK used is well... used. The op should not buy a G4 though. Save your money for a G6.

Nigerians and their silly penchant for making up half baked stories and believing them. So a man died because of lack of food for three days. Did you even study biology in school at all. What about people dry fasting. You die for lack of water first before you die of lack of food. I have gone three days without eating before to address a stomach complaint. However I do believe Muslims should learn to love their neighbors better.

My most major concern is that most Nigerians believe there is nothing like covid 19.

I have changed my view of some people.

Have seen some things in personal chats that made me to wonder if I was wrong about someone being literate.

But I have come to conclusion that covid 19 came with entirely new style which can make it difficult for some brains to assimilate information about it.

While we all pray that covid 19 will not kill plenty Nigerians, if it ever does.

Its us that will enter lockdown on our own.

Africa do not rake kindly to death ooo.
You are right, I also realized that education does not subdue ignorance in some cases. Many Nigerians still believe that there's no COVID 19 in Nigeria

HealthRe: What Do Nigerians Want Of Their Health Care Workers ? by Babalegba(m): 3:57pm On Apr 23, 2020
thiagoteres:
My initial message was for health workers and if you are one it won't be difficult for you to understand.
If you have never worked as a hcw in a public hospital, it would be nearly impossible for you to see things from their perspective. So listen objectively when they cry out and don't let social media rants cloud your judgement. Alternatively, volunteer for a month in any government hospital close to you ,then come back and share your experience.
Can't believe u think 5k is proportionate pay for level of risk hcw get exposed to even before this pandemic?
Health care delivery is a service that is paid for and no amount of emotional blackmail can change that. You are free to render your service free and pay your bills with thank you(That's if u even get one sef)
Is it ok to ask a delivery person to drive a faulty vehicle, or a construction engineer to work without personal protection, or any office worker to work in a burning building ?
Why must it be fine for hcw to work without basic protection ?
If you don't value their lives , I am sure their loved ones want them back home alive.
Dearth of PPE has not prevented British nurses and doctors from treating COVID 19 patients, they complain about it but roll up their sleeves and do their jobs of ameliorating human suffering. I don't need to work in an hospital to know that Nigerians are generally wicked, callous and uncaring, medical personnel included. A bad worker would always blame equipment. There are some good Nigerian health workers, doctor Philip Dzuana mentioned in the original post was likely one. Every segment of human economic activity with it's attendant hazards satisfies a physical or mental need . A driver is not paid disproportionately in Nigeria but the blackmailing health care workers are, even though drivers also risk death in their jobs. I lived in Britain for more than twenty years so I'm no stranger to volunteer work and should the need arise I would gladly volunteer in Abeokuta. However all sectors on the Nigerian landscape are bad.

They can not be pleased no matter how much u try. Some people enjoy talking blindly . Just amuse yourself with their folly and do your job.
Hypocrites that have never read a letter of ethics would be mentioning Hippocratic oath.
Greedy people that make a living out of illegalities want to shame those making an honest living out of saving lives.
What have the noise makers done for the loved ones of health workers that have suffer preventable untimely death?
God bless all health workers out there.Protect yourself even if your employer won't.
What are you going on about, which how much they try are you talking about . Are you even Nigerian and on the ground. The fact of the matter is in Nigeria people are doing jobs not suited to them because of money and lack of job opportunities. You find people who are apathetic to injustice doing police work, unpatriotic soldering and medical staff unsympathetic to human suffering. The medics here are always on strike for the most trivial of reasons risking people's lives despite being disproportionately paid more than the other workers. They should be pruned to allow better suited people in to do the job. If you want undue praises then hire praise singers.
HealthRe: What Do Nigerians Want Of Their Health Care Workers ? by Babalegba(m): 11:16pm On Apr 22, 2020
Almost all health workers are in it for the money in Nigeria and not to serve mankind. Most Nigerians simply don't have good experiences with Nigerian public health workers. It's like inviting good comments about the Nigerian police, it will be extremely scanty because although a few good Nigerian policemen exists most are bad. And yes I think they should leave the job so that better humans could be recruited.
