Politics › How Would Boko Haram Have Fared Had GEJ Won by Babalegba(op): 6:17pm On Apr 20, 2016 |
Under Buhari boko haram has been reduced to dealing feeble blows and getting robust responses from the Nigerian army. Before the election gej had to wrest large swathes of the north east from them allying with neighboring armies to save face for the elections and they were so bold at the time to be bringing battle tanks to the front and occupying towns for ages. Had gej won the election would boko haram have resumed their rampages through the north east while the service chiefs are salting away for themselves money meant for combat readiness. |

davo3286: Who told you that the nigerians who voted buhari knew all along that the road will be difficult?? The reason why you guys are not out in the streeet protesting is because you are too ashamed to accept the reality. Period! We have better and pressing issues to protest about not luxury SUVs. Unfortunately you still don't get the point. Most of the people agitating against Buhari never liked him nor voted for him in the first place. His supporters are suffering but are resolute in their support for him because they hope that with time his enemies will be defeated and disgraced, then nation building would commence The Sinators buying cars are like termites in a building and I'm sure future wiser Nigerians would put their names in the book of shame. They are outright thieves and should not be tolerated. |

davo3286: If we should begin to reject all nonsense in our lives then we will end up rejecting nigeria in the process. Why because nigeria is a good as nonsense. The O.P, in my opinion, is nothing but a hypocrite and I want to believe you are too. If nigeria had a million more people like you and the O.P then we are doomed! People have raised a better reason why we should come out to protest and you and the O.P turned a blind eye. Please stop this your hypocrisy. You are failing to understand something important. The Nigerians that voted Buhari in knew all along the road would be difficult and arduous and are prepared to give Buhari time to sort things out, that is why people are bearing with him.Hope is the reason why they are not in the streets protesting. They hope he will point Nigeria to the right way with a firm foundation. Of course there are upsidedown thinking Nigerians who will try to frustrate him and incite people against him.The sinators are car grabbing thieves working against the nation |

You should buy them with your own money.Nigerians are getting more educated and wiser by the day.British MPs don't get luxury vehicles at the expense of the taxpayers so why should these immoral thieving self inflated nonentities called our senators do.Nigerians should be ready to reject all nonsense in their lives. I wish Nigeria has a million more people like the o.p instead of the excuses for human beings littering Nigeria |

grandstar: Not following the herd will not make 1 +1=4
That's what he's doing and we can see the dollar scarcity and epic fuel scarcity are symtomic of bad economic policies
You can't defy economic laws and win!! You can seemingly defy economic laws and win as long as you have a proper grasp of the variables. Malaysia rejected IMF recommendations and came out spectacularly on top.The keyword is vision and genuine understanding of the local variables. There is no quick fix for the Nigerian problem, we are actually talking about pushing the reset button here |

Buhari's forex restrictions has mare forex scarce ruining the economy and the rhe refusal to deregulate the price of petrol when he had to is inexcusable
The bucks lies with him! I agree the buck stops with Buhari. The funny thing is I like him because of the points you raised against him! He gave his reasons for not following the herd. I respect strong resolute leaders not those bending with the wind. He has vision but like I said many Nigerians are hoping hell fail.Talk about monumental stupiditu |

The economy's doomed! I believe the present government will perform well with verifiable results in the not too distant future as long as they are able to thwart PDP attempts to sabotage their plans. |
