It is about who then? Ofcourse, he is a greedy rat that finds himself in the trap. Sowore contested presidency and was roundly rejected by every responsible Nigerian including prof Soyinka openly. Soon he lost presidential election under AAC, he wanted to be AAC party chairman at the same time which was rejected by other party members, at the same time he was having secrete dealings with corrupt politicians that have been alienated from common wealth which has always been their source of finances to force government change through crooked and barbaric means.

It is very irritating to see that most of our leaders/politicians have little or no certificate at all, who is the idiot that drafted the constitution stating minimum of waec for critical and important appointment/positions while graduates with excellent results struggle to get a 30k per month stipend, nonsense and ingredient.

WAEC is nothing, it is our toxic way of playing politics just to stain and pull people down syndrome that is making irrelivant to be relevant. I remember years back, one of our teachers told us that the Waec we were struggling to get, he didn't know where he kept his own. It is not brainy, it is many surveillance helicopters we need to flood our space; footpath, motorways, and forests. Each state should be mandated to have at least 2 surveillance choppers apart from federal police and the military owned choppers which could atimes be politicized

Former presidential candidate, Oby Ezekwesili, has spoken against the arrest of the publisher of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure his immediate release.

Sowore, also a former presidential candidate, was arrested early Saturday by security operatives suspected to be from the Department of State Security (DSS).

The arrest is believed to be connected to the #RevolutionNow protests which is set to commence nationwide on August 5.

“All well-meaning Nigerians should stand with YeleSowore and defend his constitutional right and freedom to protest any matter of Governance that worries him,” Mrs Ezekwesili said on Twitter.

“Mr Sowore’s convening of Citizens to protest Poor Governance – via #RevolutionNow- is Constitutionally guaranteed.”

The former education minister added: “If our NGRPresident MBuhari & FG AsoRock are not completely out of touch with the reality of distress of majority of Citizens of this country, they would handle YeleSowore‘s right to convene #RevolutionNow wisely.

How is this a revolution protest when election was already conducted by an Independent body and a winner already emerged. It is obvious sowore is looking for political power, would he have declared revolution protest if he had won the 2019 presidential election that he contested?

Both Nigerian police and military are worrisome, can't they just have enough surveillance aircrafts/choppers to respond to incidents and monitor our roads and forests?

We need at least 2 surveillance helicopters per state to monitor footpath, motor ways, beaches nearby bushes and our forests. Coupled with both military and police so called python dances etc.

If sowore had won the 2019 election would he have staged a revolution? Anyone that comes comes out to stage any protest should be wiped off, any of them caught should face treason felony. Yes, because police and other security agencies, with both the state and federal governments lack ideas and mentality how to stamp out simple kidnapping etc. It is not brainy to address issues like this. Each state should be mandated to have at least 2-4 helicopters for aerial surveillance every day and tracking majorly the forest, along both footpath and motor ways, it must be routine forever not that they will stop when incidents slightly reduce. We must not make our roads and forest a save haven for these animals, equally all uncompleted buildings where ever must be completely blocked or even pull down.

One is a proud akokite, cerebral and civil while the other is a symbol of bane of our current society. Fayemi didn't lose that election fair and square but was pushed out by the powers and forces that be. Unfortunately those physical evidences are not known to judiciary, almost similar thing happened in Osun gubernatorial election

Not just beef up the security, security approach and apparatus are just too primitive and archaic. I saw a video where over 10 security officers who were well armed were so happy mere because they fired gunshots into the air which made this same/similar set of highway kidnappers retreated into the bush without a chase or tracking down. We will not be able to solve this problem with the existing security apparatus and this is why boko haram is lingering off forever, they are working hard but not being smart
