This is a very important question. Tinubu claimed to have gotten substantial votes from the north, the South West and the South South.

Abuja is the true capital of Nigeria, where all the major and minor ethnic groups are heavily represented. So really, Abuja is the truest microcosm of Nigeria.

If someone claimed to have won a nationwide election in Nigeria, why couldn't he get ordinary 25% in Abuja? What is the sensible and logical explanation for that?

Despite the Efforts of the Boss Seun, Tribalism on Nairaland has still NOT stopped.

During the Administration of Jonathan/PDP, there was Little or no Tribalism on NL or other social media sites.

It is APC that came and DESTROYED everything.
After 2015, Buhari/APC administration Failed Woefully and most Nairalanders from SW were still Defending him.

The additional supporters you had in Lagos for presidential election were disgruntled, feeble and carnal minded set of people. Most of them have since come back to their senses, because of your overbearing claims and actions. I wonder who is hypocritical if not you and your half baked principal

Continue to comfort yourself with your lies. In the Obidient movement, all tribes are represented. Just so you know, Nigeria does not start and end in Lagos. Edo, Delta, Plateau States are one of the largest supporters of the movement. Are they Ibos states too? Stop basking in ignorance my dear friend.

I find it disturbing that a reputable Nobel laureate, Prof. Soyinka, has classified the obidient movement as a fascist group. He begs not to even understand what fascism is.

An organization that works to bring about a new Nigeria and has never engaged in conflict or caused havoc. It's unfortunate that he has sided with those that oppress us. A man who had his loudest voice under the Jonathan administration—he even branded the president's wife a "Sheppotamus"has suddenly lost his voice under the tyrannical Buhari administration. Cultism was introduced into our schools by the same man who calls the Obidient movement fascist. Cultism is a movement that infiltrated our schools and killed a lot of our young children.

The same man who called the Obidient movement a fascist movement pulled a gun on a journalist on live television and forced her to disclose an election result. Wole Soyinka is a well-educated rogue who belongs to the ASIWAJU movement's criminal Mafia in Nigeria.

The same man did not denounce election rigging, the fight against non-natives in Lagos State, the tribal conflict, the drug case, or the illegality of the Tinubu campaign. He fabricates bias while disguising himself behind his pretty good reputation. I'm delighted more people are starting to see through him.


He serves as the new mafia ASIWAJU movement's spokesperson. He reeks of bigotry. He has benefited from the systemic decay and is simply a contributing factor to the issue. What was it that this same man that once lauded and eulogized ASIWAJU? Hence, I'm not shocked to see Obi being attacked and the Obidient movement.
