The soldier came back with his colleagues and the situation degenerated into a chaos.

Where in that writeup did you see Azikiwe telling you he wanted to rule and dominate Nigeria? If not for anything, he was trying to save the north which appeared weak to maintain a separate country, ànd that their separation would become a big burden on the south if crisis happen.
