ogugua88:
BABE! the medical term for miscarriage is spontaneous abortion. I would think it's circumstantial when these spontaneous abortions occur. I'd also think that a lot of miscarriages are deliberately done by the body. Most fetuses expelled have some sort of abnormality.
Touche.

So basically, a miscarriage is a natural abortion. I agree. Natural in the sense that you have no "hand" in the "abortion". It is your body's fault. And that's ok. Yes--you didn't kill the baby, your body kinda did. Hence, why I said Abortion (minus miscarriages) is a deliberate act (on your part). You made a decision to expel the embryo/fetus.

ogugua88:
Too much thinking on my part. I'm tired.
Nah--you good. My mistake. My bad. I didn't think my thoughts through before I typed them out.

ogugua88:
This is so off-topic but LOL at your signature. "Tenk God", it reminds me of "Igbo Pronunciations" that was trending on twitter yesterday lol.
So what you mean to tell me is that it is every fertilized egg that develops right?
Of course not. The self-termination of a nonviable fertilized egg is not an abortion. Abortion is a deliberate act.

Why do you think women/people cry when they have miscarriages? Why do you think people don't cry when do use condoms while having sex?grin

Simple as that.
@BABE!, try proving that to a judge.
without fluids and eggs there also would not be any human being on this planet But for some reason, it is convinient to discard them and don't bring up wet dreams and menstral cycle  because they are natural just as some abortions are
Abortions are natural? Another new one from Mynd. Abortions are different from miscarriages you know?

Prove that to a judge? Abortions are legal in most parts of the world, so there's no point in me proving anything.
I introduced birth control to Mr. Chima and I got the stare down.  I handed him a pretty condom (you know those fancy condoms) and got the stare down as well.

I guess BC is a no no to him.
LOL.
Fertilized egg or not it does not have a personality yet and so technically, it cannot be called HUMAN just as Fluid and eggs
WRONG! FAIL! FALLACY!  angry grin

Ignore "technicality" for now fam. This is human life we're talking about here. So having a personality is the difference between humans and non-humans? Hm. What grows into a "personality"? As it is now, Will there be humans with personalities without a fertilized egg?

Now, let's talk about "technicality". Technically, a fertilized egg is more important that a human being. Yh-- i said it. How else can you get human beings without fertilized eggs?

You can also argue that you can't get fertilized eggs without human beings. It's sort of a "What came first? Chicken or the egg?" situation.  grin

Hence, why assume that one is more important than the other?

The first one which will be preventing fertilization
I'm sha not against using condoms. I mean, wet dreams are natural, ain't they? Wasting your semen(sperm cells) is OK. Same goes to the females, do whatever you want to go with your eggs. Isn't menstrual cycle a natural occurrence? Waste them all you like--- na your own palava.

My thing is, don't tamper with a fertilized egg.
And as long as you believe that abortion should not be encouraged, then you should also be against BIRTH CONTROL
Birth control is a broad term. BC is a means of preventing fertilization, preventing implantation, and removal of a "baby" A.K.A. abortion.

So, what aspect of BC are we talking about here?

But you support abortions when the other is in danger if she carries the baby to term right? I think altimately, there should be special clauses.
Yh--- if the baby is gonna die anyway, or the mother is gonna die as a result of the baby being alive, then I think she should have a choice of who to live between both of them.
It is also not ideal for the child(medically with genes and all)
lol-- That's a new one.

Incest babies are not known to have the highest number of down syndrome cases. Their chromosomes are intact. 23 pairs -- Solid 46. No mistakes.

If there's nothing wrong genetically with the father and his ancestors, then the baby should be ok.

Mynd:

Oya forget religion. Let's get something clear---I'm all about Jesus and not religion.  cheesy Cool? Cool.

In that situation, I get it--she's devastated. She wants the baby out. However, again, the baby shouldn't be responsible for how it's conception came about. Someone else should be responsible for that. Removing the baby from her womb doesn't change the fact she was rapped by her dad. The reality ain't going anywhere.

It's not the baby's fault that a hooligan rapped his mother. He/she shouldn't die for that. I don't care about how  "insignificant" people might think the baby is at the time of the abortion---- An embryo/zygote/blastocyst is as good and  as important as a 25 yr old man.

It bothers me when abortion is considered "legal" and killing a 5 yr old kid is not. Who are we as humans to put a mark or draw a line as to where a life is valid?

If she can't take care of the new born--she always has the option of giving him/her up for adoption.

These negros advocating for unnecessary abortion are not serious sef. If they were "flushed" away as well, would they have mouth to talk now---? Ish!

^^ Yh--here I am--a member of the Jesus's squad.

You're wrong. cheesy If there's nothing wrong, or rather if nothing is going to be wrong with the child and mother medically during and after the gestation, then don't kill the damn baby.

The baby shouldn't be "responsible" for how it came into existence.
