my diet and exercise regime sucks right now! Am unable to monitor my meal plan as I want. Yvette congrats on losing 5 pounds....you have actually encouraged me to try and make the best of where ever I find myself. Kudos to you |
dasparrow: You should not be surprised. Most Nigerians are educated illiterates. They go through school but education does not go through them. This is scary, very scary. How is the nation to move ahead if people cannot even understand when someone is speaking from a professional or 3rd person point of view. Most every issue be personal to the writer ![]() |
My fellow Nigerians please stop ranting at the author...She never said all married women tell these lies or that all marriages experience these problems. Even if your marriage is going well (for which we thank the Almighty God) not everyone else is experiencing the same marital bliss, so look beyond yourself and face the reality other women live in. After all we say Nigeria is corrupt does not mean that there are no honest Nigerians (99.9% according to finance minister) Thank God your marriages are going well and if possible pray for those who have challenges. |
You all need to take a chill pill. we know she is not insinuating that all married women who make these statements are lying. But we also know that most of the time people will not tell you the truth about the harsh realities of their individual marriages. My senior colleagues in the office are always like you young girls should try and settle down, get married and have a family so that you will be happy. But I have caught at least 2 of them complaining to friends about how their husbands treat them. but when i confronted one she denied it and swore hussy was an angel (yet she comes to work with bruises). Am sure a lot of people are in happy marriages but there are also a lot who are not but are actively denying it just so that they don't stand out in society. |
Please can someone explain what this means in plain english. I unfortunately find it difficult to relate this information with my everyday market purchases or is it that the 2 shouldn't be compared. I though a drop in inflation means a drop in prices of food produce? ![]() |
I beg to differ, Ewa Agoyin is not a meal of the past nor is it fading. When I was in lagos, i attended a lot of occasions where it was served on the menu. There is no rule that says it must be eaten with Agege bread, now that most people are more aware of the health issues they eat it with other brands of bread or with pap, plaintain or yam. I even eat it by itself and I prepare it at home too. But if anyone knows where they sell it in Port harcourt please share. I know some people who need that info ![]() |
Please what is the idea behind tucking in the tummy. I read ladies talking about doing it a lot of times but i don't understand the science behind it. I just started my regimen and I have started actively counting my calories. I found a website that gave an approximate amount of calories in regular naija food so i will use it as a sort of guide. I am going to eat 1200 calories a day, dance zumba for 30 mins (morning and evening) and play with dumbbells for 15 mins (morn and evening) ![]() Please what is the name of the tea you are taking ![]() |
