HealthRe: Managing Menstrual Pains Without Drugs. by babestell(f): 2:39pm On Mar 02, 2015
I had the most painful period pains ever in my life, this past weekend. I had to be rushed to the hospital screaming in pain.........I could barely walk. Just one injection and after like 20mins the pain became bearable. It took me a whole day to recover.

I couldn't keep anything down and I couldn't exercise. I was shivering like a drown rat!!!!
Damn! Now i understand why some women say they will never go through the birth process. The pain was totally out of this world.

zizirecords:
@OP I am a medical doctor and can give you some professional advice. While there are many suggestions about how to handle menstrual cramps, you have to be careful because many of them are not safe.

Taking analgesics may still be your best (and SAFEST) bet. Try to eat well to avoid developing peptic ulcer which can result from drugs such as Felvin. If the pains are really bad, see a gynecologist.

All the best.
Thank you dr
HealthRe: Managing Menstrual Pains Without Drugs. by babestell(f): 10:02am On Feb 12, 2015
Piroxicam aka Felvin does not cause fibroid. There has been no reported case with users. Please type it into Google and research for yourself. Yes it can cause stomach lacerations and some other complications both most times that comes with continous use. Most women take only 2 tablets in a month or 2 months.

drinking cold water helped me. And I monitor my cycle closely so I always know when the red day approaches. Reduce sugar intake 2 days before and increase fiber intake. Drink plenty of cold water and if it doesn't work. ....I reach forymy felvin....paracetamol doesn't work for me

Actually according to a post here 10, 000 slots were given to indigenes, 3000 for non indigenes. Isn't that fair

Invariably one can judge when feeding them?
Not really, but then when u feed ie provide for a person, you get a certain measure of power over them. Then pokenosing into their business or insisting they live by certain rules may be allowed.

With the increasing rate of divorce, a time will come When guys won't need to waste millions of naira on weddings. Afterall the marriage can end anytime.
Even thohgh you made this reply in antagonism, I have to agree with you

Society and its norms as we know it will change drastically in the next 50 years. Very soon name changing and divorce won't be issues.
FamilyRe: Is It Compulsory For A Married Woman To Take On Her Husband's Surname? by babestell(f): 5:03pm On Dec 25, 2014
With the increasing rate of divorce nowadays, it will soon become a norm for women to keep their surname. One less hassle after the divorce

Anyway depends on the couple......to each their own, don't judge others by your standards especially when u are not feeding them
FamilyRe: My Little Dilemma by babestell(f): 4:49pm On Dec 25, 2014
You know what to do.

Cut down on expenses (which includes tithing), live low, stop eating out, buy only the essentials, and give yourself a target. Every month evalute to see if u are on track, try and carry madam along
I understand the annoyance of living with debt, hopefully you will get out of it soon

Her dad has washed his hands off the issue as she refused to heed his advice. I think I'll advice her to talk to her mum.

I told her that she needs to react some times when he is abusive. She said there was a time she did and he told her she would just burst a vein and she would just die. That he would just get married sharply to someone else...
Please stories of women who died by their spouse hands abound, maybe you should share some with her. Someone mentioned AIDS..let her start testing herself.

No marriage is perfect so this should not deter you, sometimes people change, sometimes bad things happen but that shouldn't get you scared. Her situation has entered the crazy part of the scale and that is why extreme reactions are needed, Her life is at stake!!!
FamilyRe: Sad Marital Tales From My Friend by babestell(f): 10:22am On Dec 23, 2014
She alone can make the decision to move on or stay in the marriage. The most you can do is provide a place for her to sleep when the kasala bursts

But she needs to tell her parents..this has past the stage of marriage confidentiality, her life is at stake, the trend usually ends up with him moving from emotional abuse to physical abuse

Also let he be aware that if any of the girls outside get preggy for him, then definitely that marriage will end, The guy just needs a child not necessarily a spouse
