Pls only buy Nigerian used car that you know the maintenance history at least to start with. Then check the value of a fresh tokunbo of the car, for instance, if it is 2004 model car and the car is worth 2 million, and have been used for 2 years. Depreciation of cars is valued at between 5% and 10% of the original value yearly in countries where there are good roads and weather conditions, and maintenance culture. But in Nigeria, it is depreciated between 25% to 50% depending on where it is used and weather condition too. So when you take the lowest value, and depreciate for 25%, for in 2 years a car bought for 2 million and used in Egbeda, Ipaja, Ikorodu, Ikotun area, Okomaiko Lekki etc (where cars spend up to 6 hours daily in traffic gridlock) will have lost value to the tune of 500,000 Naira in first year alone, you now have 1.5 million car value. 25% of 1.5 million is 375,000 naira depreciation after another 1 year. Please use your tongue to count your teeth before you now negotiate. after 2 years, the car should be worth N1,125,000 according to usage in Nigeria. In fact if you price well, you will get it for 1 million. simple. |
How many Christians can volunteer to be a suicide bomber? Any one? Please indicate, and lets also know how many Muslim can volunteer to be suicide bombers. Remember, peeps, suicide bombing is the order of the day in virtually all Muslim countries, so it is not a new thing, it is their way of life and our brothers here in Nigeria can't seem to come to terms with this reality to know that what their Islamic religion preaches is contrary to what they all practice, and it kind of baffles me how they hastily mis-interpret the Quaran. |
Poster, you are just a mad EEDiot, an slowpoke. Do you think you can deceive Nigerians?, Oh, your next move or post will be that a Christian have been arrested for the Madala Catholic church bombings. You must be a big dirty fool for trying this. Anyway, your stupid BH brothers will next place a bomb under your bed, so that you and your family will know how it feels to be bombed. Stupid Animal trying to defend BH. |

dear NLanders, watch out for toll gates at the pedestrian bridges across Lagos state soon. It is coming. watch out. Stupid yeye governments in Nigeria, Fashola and Tinubu what ever they are called, are not there for the interest of Lagosians, an average Nigerian who is called to serve does so thinking that it is his birth right and has the right to do whatever he or she like, that is what unlce Jonah is doing now, but I hope they know what this could lead to. A little rain drops, forms the ponds, lakes, rivers and ocean. This is the ocean flood that will sweep this evil incarnates we call our leaders away. We don't need over 400 house of rep or over 120 senators to lead us, they are all thieves, criminals who shouldn't see the light of the day, all we need is one man with a good heart, a thinking brain, and with the dear of the LORD, and our dear Nigeria will stand up in the league of civilised nations. In my opinion, I think it is time we ask that who ever wants to be a senator in Nigeria, must have a functioning industry that has in it current employment at least 100 employees who are well paid according to industry standard, and for house of rep members, they should have industries or firms which employs at least 50 employees who are also graduates and well paid. Then when you talk about economic/security issues affecting the people, they will all show serious and positive concern. It is because they don't have industries, or people they pay good salaries, that is why they can tell us that buying fuel at astronomical prices will solve the problems of this nation. They compare us with UK, USA, and European countries, can government pay the same salaries paid over there, when they place us on the same price platform, will they also place us on the same salary scale.? This country is in a state of coma already and fears no fall, a man who is down fears no fall, so lets resist them with all out might. If it needs violence, we will give it to them. The kingdom has suffered violence and only the violence taketh it by force. We must regain our kingdom back from this fraudsters parading themselves as our leaders. Come 18th, Dec and in January (removal of the acclaimed fuel subsidy). We will all stand up to defend our rights. GEJ, Fashola and cohorts watch out. May God bless Nigeria. STAND UP 4 NIGERIA. |
It baffles me every time our leaders come out with phony projects in the name of improving our lives, I really wonder what kind of brains they have and where exactly the brains are located in their physiology. Does Lagos state govt think we can be fooled all the time,? does it think that Nigerians have not evolved? for Christ sake, enough is enough in the country. Our leaders have so messed up this country just because of greed. How can Lagos state govt build a road on lekki axis and toll it? What is the justification behind the dumb thinking? are there no good roads in VI, Ikoyi etc? Why Lekki. The problems of this our dear country are quite enormous and our leaders don't care, never. They get there and they think we are all fools. Imagine our dear president on one side, Fashola on one side, Peter Obi is doing his own on one side in Anambra, T. A. Orji has turned Abia state to a family bakery/winery, the list is endless, and here we are in Lagos, with all the double taxation. This state generated more income that any state in Nigeria most of which are illegal. They employ all manner of tact and tugs/hoodlums in suit to extort money from residents. Alh. Lateef Jakande did that road without asking for a dime, at his time, how many lagosians/Nigerians were paying their taxes? Yet he did it. Can you imagine how much Lagos generates every month from multinationals, banks, industries, poor market women, transports, okada riders etc plus federal allocation? I see a lot of government house boys coming to NL to respond to comments; I sense that they are just want to show their oga that they are working, pls NL is not a place for you to do that. Let me tell all those who think that Lagos is doing the resident of lekki a favour, they are actually pulling a long string and without knowing what is actually attached to the end of the string. This is big fraud. Nigeria is not a country where debts are fully serviced, if we allow them, our children and their future generation will never finish paying. The Lekki Toll gates should be burnt down in this next protest, what are we waiting for, it is time we take action, if they want to kill us all, let them go ahead, it is because it is still there, that is why someone could sit in the comfort of his home to think that he has done lagosians a favor by building roads and tolling it. When Lasu/Iba road was completed, any toll there? NO, why, are we not all paying our taxes, as a matter of fact how many people who live on that axis pay their taxes, why toll on Lekki roads. Lagos state does not belong to one man, no matter who you are or your status, you cannot be bigger than the people, we have seen live instances from Egypt, Libya, and currently Syria, Yemen, Pakistan. Our leaders need to have a rethink, if they cannot run this nation, let them resign. The worst is that when it is very glaring that our leaders have failed in their responsibility, that is when they sit tight, when they should have resigned honorably. But here, they develop "agidi spirit" I must rule by force, it must be by force. na me sabi pass all of una. It is such a shame, FYI (@ Coogar, I see you are a big disgrace to the generation of people who want changes in the way things are done in this nation. I sense you are just a dumb house boy to either Tinubu or Fashola, keep it up, your meal ticket will soon be doubled OK) Your thinking is myopic and laughable. I imagine if you ever know what it takes to pay tax and not get value. See, this is why we cannot move forward, when 99% of intellectually sound citizens are saying something is wrong, then just one mad man who feeds of the crumbs that falls of his masters table says it is right, then there is problem. If you put him in government tomorrow, he will do worst than his master, probably put a stopper to the air we breath and ask all to pay tolls. The roads built with our taxes, we are again asked to pay for using it, no good water, no electricity. no security, no education for the poor, no job for our graduates because industries are not there to employ, few spaces are reserved for those who have connection. If our leaders are myopic in their sense of leadership and lack the will and capacity to take us to the next level, why can’t they leave us alone?. Is it by force? You don’t come on TV to show us that you are building roads for us, if you are not building roads, hospitals, schools, etc, then what are you doing in government, why are you there. It is the responsibility of government to provide infrastructure as far as taxes are being paid. Haba, please if we don’t know where we are going, we should know where we are or where we are coming from. Why is it that everyone wants to rule in Nigeria like it is his private or family property? I tire, but I know that the end is in sight, we are not losing hope, when the time comes, we shall all rise and defend our rights legally or otherwise. As for GEJ, we are waiting for January. He came and told Nigerians I quote “I didn’t have shoes when he want to school” Right now, how many students has he provided with shoes and books, how many? Directly or indirectly, rather he is formulating more hardship on the parents so that by the time they buy fuel, pay tolls on highways, eat cassava bread, etc with their meager miserable 18K minimum wage, they all go home with polythene bags with which to pack their ragged clothing. May God help us, give is the courage, strength and the will to fight this evil menace that has overtaken this Nation, that has driven this great nation into the dark hole. |
Please bro, post your best current prices now, I see Month of May price on this thread, are you still working with that, coz Bold 1 goes for 20k in the market now, plz give us current prices. |
pic plz and how much last price. ? |
By my assessment of your emotions and desire, you are still a child. Man, you have to grow up and know that marriage is not a play ground where you play with different kind of toys that when you see a new fascinating toy you dump the former. The worst mistake you will even make in life is about to happen in your life, if you dump your 4yr relationship for a new ps playing/intelligent girl, then you have missed it. Do you think 4 yrs is 4 days, man, it will take you another 4 yrs with the new girl before you can see if she is worth the salt (that is if she doesn't dump you for a pilot or an astronaut), and by then, guess what you'll have missed. The devil is tempting you with a sweet carrot and I see you falling already. Please wake up from your slumber and just zero that PS playing girl out of your mind. I have spoken my mind. |
Devil is using that man, and obviously he is looking for trouble and maybe who knows he wants to fight somebody and this could result in serious injuries or even death. Please, please, just ignore him, if you husband has the means, he should just go and pay the PHCN bill, and hand over the matter to God, what goes around comes around, someday, that guy who refuses to pay bill will realise what he has been doing and come to apologize for his wrong doing. Please avoid confrontation with him. I have seen many like that, please avoid trouble. But if your husband does not have the means, go to PHCN and make a complain, they know how to come and disconnect the guys light and he will never be able to reconnect it. OR simple call a general meeting of everyone in the house, and let the house decide what to do about him. Don't take any personal decision and don't make direct confrontation. The world is deep. ![]() |
1. Can BRF tell us how much his father paid as his school fees during his time in the University?2. Can he provide the kind of facilities obtainable in foreign universities even if he was provided with all the funds he needs to run LASU. 3. Can he pay half of the kind salaries paid to people who live and work abroad. I mean you could find an officer clerk earning up to 12,000 dollars per annum, in Nigeria that is about 1.9 million Naira. How much does an officer clerk earn here in Nigeria? Less than 300,000 naira per annum. can Gov. Fashola afford to pay the kind of salaries paid abroad? You see, every time our leaders tell us they want to do things the way it is done abroad. But they forgot that the infrastructure we have down here cannot even sustain the kind of luxury enjoyed by our neighbouring countries. The issue of minimum wage just gone by, we all saw the reactions of the governors. They tell us in USA, fuel is sold for $5 per gallon which is about 160 naira per litre, how much is the salary of an average worker in USA, how much is the salary of an average person here in Nigeria, can Nigeria afford to pay the kind of salaries paid abroad? If government can pay the kind of salaries paid abroad, provide goods road networks, good and effective rail network so that people don't have to drive their car all the time, then you can ask us to pay what people pay in foreign countries. Our leaders have lost their senses and I think our dear BRF have just joined the band wagon. I no dey for house ooooooo. |
EVERYONE LISTEN UP. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE FUEL SUBSIDY, NEVER. IT IS A SLANG USED BY OUR GOVERNMENT TO DIVERT PUBLIC FUNDS INTO THEIR PRIVATE ACCOUNTS. IT HAS BEEN ON FOR AGES, IT DID NOT START TODAY AND THE FEW CABALS THAT DIVERT THE FUNDS INTO THEIR ACCOUNT ARE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUFFERINGS IN THIS COUNTRY. WE MUST RESIST THEM. NOW, OUR PRESIDENT IS PART OF IT, INSTEAD OF COMING TO TELL US THE TRUTH, HE SIMPLY SAYS HE WANT TO REMOVE FUEL SUBSIDY SO THAT NIGERIA CAN STOP PAYING THE GREEDY CABALS. BUT IT IS ALL A GAME PLAN, WE NOW END UP PAYING MORE TO THE BENEFIT OF A NEW CABAL. THE THE GOVERNMENT IS SINCERE ABOUT THIS FUEL ISSUE, I CHALLENGE THEM TO PUBLISH THE DETAILS OF HOW MUCH IT COST TO LAND REFINED FUEL TO APAPA PORT, HOW MUCH IT COST TO CLEAR IT AND DISTRIBUTE AND THEN LEAVE NIGERIANS TO DO THE MATHS. IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO TELL US THAT THE LANDING COST IS ABOVE 140 NAIRA PER LITRE WITHOUT TELL US US THE FACT AND HOW COME THE 140 NAIRA PER LITRE. THEY HAVE COME WITH NEW NUMBER PLATES, LASU HAS INCREASED SCHOOL FEES TO MINIMUM OF 250,000 FOR THOSE IN LOWER COURSES, AND UP TO 380,000 FOR THOSE IN MEDICINE. TOLL GATES ARE COMING BACK, LEKKI TOLL IS THERE. HOW CAN A PEOPLE SURVIVE IN THIS COUNTRY. NIGERIANS, STAND UP AGAINST ECONOMIC INJUSTICE, STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHT. NIGERIA, STAND UP AGAINST THIS EVIL MEN RULING US. |
@namfav and @executinal, @sheyguy You all are big fooooooools, you probably cannot and will never live up to 1% of your dreams before you join him. Ojukwu struggled for what he believed, to liberate his people and you are hear on nairaland talking about what you don't even know, judging him as if you will go to heaven, shame on to you for talking badly about a man who is dead, if you are given an opportunity to step into his shoes, will you be able to achieve 0.0001% of this man's achievement. Watch your mouth your northern fools, someday your northern idiotic brothers will have themselves to blame. You simply have exposed the kind of idiot you all are. Idiot, stupid bandits that you all are. |

@sweetnecta, you know why this whole religion things seems very complicated, because the Muslims think and feel that they religion is supreme to others. I did mention Boko haram as an islamic thing, because right in your heart, be truthfull about this question I want to ask you. "how many muslims have ever felt sad about the killings, bombings orchestrated by islamic fundamentalist. Really, I want top challenge any muslim cleric to come on air and demonstrate true federalism in this country alone. 9/11 was executed by islamic fundamentalist openely and muslims rejoiced for victory all over the world. Victory against innocent people, lets face the fact. I am not saying that all muslims are in support of Boko haram, or the killings and bombings happening all over, but the clerics who are the spiritual leaders whom we all assume these fundamentalist do sometime listen to, how many of them have come out to say enough is enough, Islam does not condone violence, how many? Iranian president open declared that Isreal should be wiped out, why, can he create a soul? and when he said that, muslims were in support. Why must it always be killing, violence, cutting people life abruptly, just like that. The idea os the BoKo haram in Nigeria is that Sharia be implemented in every state in the north and if possible, every state in Nigeria. We all know this is impossible, because Nigeria is not an islamic country niether is it into christianity. It is a country of free religion. How many times have other religion forcefully demanded that theirs be instituted in every state in Nigeria? Listen, if you are in a position to stop this killing, and you have the opportunity to do so, please do, we all have 1 contribution to make in that direction, no matter how small or how big we are, we can start in our homes, by preaching freedom and peaceful co-existence no matter the religion. This religious thing has to end and let people live their lives normally and peacefully. At the end God is the ultimate judge who will judge every man and everyone according to our deeds here on earth. i am out of here. Peace be with you all. |
In my opinion, I beleive that religion should be void of violence. I don't see any reason why a religious side will be so pleased when people lose their lives in trajedy, it is absolutely demonic, and to think that muslims hate the people of United states, is another head ache, Why should their be hate in this world. It sounds crazy and pathetic. I ask one question always, if muslims hate America, then whny are they there, why do they go there to get the best of education and professional qualifications. What If America decides to stop giving visas to any muslim, or even deport and strip muslims of the citizenship rights in USA (for those muslims who had naturalised in the states). If the US reacts these way, how will they feel, cos i know for the slightest reason of assult and treat to life, muslim will find every single non muslim in their domain to slay all of them. I now refer to the BOKO HARAM sect in Nigeria. It is said to mean "a fight against western education" and non muslims (infidels). If that be the case, what are the educated notherners doing in government. They all go to the US to acquire degrees from prestigious institution especially Havard, Boston, yale etc and come back home to head key institutions. Why are they not speaking against the BK and why has BK not asked them to resign from the job because it is quite obvious they got the job via western education. They are in that prestigious position today because they had western education which their fate/faith detest going by the views of the BKs. Do I see a case of confusion, greed and selfish here. They detest western education, yet the same education is making food available on their tables, making farming easy, making transportation easy, even the bombs they make will not be possible without some sort of westrn education. Please, lets all think about the future of this great world, if we want to advance as a people, we really need to shun religious violence and embrace tolerance, peace and love, knowing fully in our heart that no one can fight for GOD. He alone created this world and he alone can fight for HIMSELF and the gates of hell shall not prevails, Let us think, we only have 1 world, 1 life and 1 country, if we destroy it, where do we go. Do we live in the ruins of it or start all over again. |
If he had succeeded in killing hundreds of people, what would you have said, probably feel pity fo rthose that would had lost their lives, please. The boy knows what he is doing, I don't know what they did to him, but i think he has been transfigured into a beast living in human flesh. |
AUN can't even beat UNILAG alone, let alone the whole Lagos. That story is false and misleading. |
I seem not to beleive this story, I see that our govt is not ready to fight terrorism, tell me why they want to repatriate some sudanese and chadians when they should be locked away in kirikiri and left there to rot away. If a foreigner commits act terrorism, that person is condemned for life and not repatriated to face the law in his own country, this story if fake abeg. Are thay telling us that if they arrest an armed robber with AK-47, he or she will be sent to his/her parents for disciplinary actions. Wake up 9ja govt, get serious. being in possession of a weapon such as a guns (AK47 riffles) is enough reason to be in kirikiri for life. |
Bro cooool down, how much be range rover sports now, brand new. Abeg, if you take 3m, I fit try am. seriously. |
yes |
Do you need affordable 100% 18 carat Gold necklace, hand chain, pendant etc. |
Take note: 1. Dangote staffs are grossly underpaid. 2. He takes all the loan facilities that is meant for all Nigerian enterprenuers. The loan is packaged and given to one man. 3. Oprah never take loan from banks. 4. Abajana cement factory was built with 19 billion Naira bank facility raise by 9 banks. 5. Monopolized business that is meant for all Nigerians, today lots of people have money to import rice, sugar, salt and cement which are hot selling products, but the case is the reverse, one man is doing all that alone, politricks in Nigeria. In doing business in USA, there is a level playing ground at least up to 70%, but in Nigeria, the level playing ground for businessmen is less than 5%. I think he really needs to do a reassessment to know if he is worth more than Oprah. |
Gives money to the importer who sells are competitive price, resellers struggle with price competition out there. |
please post the details of how this actually works. |
Subsidy is only a slang used by government officials to divert and embezzle money. Please read article on http://www.nigerdeltacongress.com/oarticles/on_fuel_scarcity_politics_and_nn.htm |
@ ndubuis Good information bro, I've never heard about this one, please all property sales agents/consultants take note so that you don't end up in trouble. |
With due respect to NCC as a regulatory institution, but I think there are bad eggs in NCC who try to frustrate the complainants, what they do now is that they will ask you to go and complain to the network provider and if nothing is done, you can then put it in writting to NCC. Last year I had several billing issues with GLO network and once I send the complaint to NCC, I get a call from GLO customer service in regards to the complain and after they have apologized, they resolve the issue within few hours, and I will also send a mail to NCC to confirm that the issue have been resolved as they demand to know for record purposes. But all of a sudden, they blocked email complaints and when you send email to NCC, you get a response directing you to sot yourself out with the network provider, so my brothers, things have really gotten out of hand, I don't know the role of NCC anymore, is it to protect the consumers against ripoffs like these as we read on the internet of to protect the network providers. I have had issues too with Zoom Nigeria, apart from slow internet speed, the fraudulent billing is crazy, out of this world. But in conclusion, I see it as an inhouse thing. I can categorically say that it is an IT fraud and the people in the system room are to be held responsible, because that can swap credit and take from here to credit there, it is possible because in IT such practices are very possible, so don't be surprised that your internet credit are deducted by the IT staffs who use it to credit either their relatives or girlfriends, period. This is 9ja, shine your sense. |
