Politically motivated or not, killing is killing. Christians clerics allowed tutsis seek refuge in churches then surrendered them to Hutu death squads as well as Hutu priests and ministers encouraging their congregations to kill Tutsis.

The reason for the above is that, I do not go against the fact that there are killings in some countries occupied by Islam but at the same time, we still experienced the same killings in christian state. It is this same muslims  you are condeming now that came to their rescue when christians left them.
Many converts say they chose Islam because of the role played by some Catholic and Protestant leaders in the genocide.

Real converts from Islam to Christianity are not cowards - that is why they openly share their experiences. Only Muslims who are uncomfortable with the reality of such conversions refer to it as "deceiving people". Besides, unless you want to purposely make false claims, it is very clear that Muslims broadcast their converts' stories - both on Nairaland and in other Muslim websites.

I laugh when I read any post by Christians condemning the word “Allah” but never ponder at least for a second on why we have the word oxccuring in Arabic bibles and in seventeen (17) different languages only for the Arabs! In those bibles, there is no single place where you will find the word “God” but only Allah yet these ignorants condemned the word ‘Allah’. Those that are supposed to be accused of paganism are accusing another person of same.

The name “Allah” has been used by all Prophets since Adam until Muhammed (saw). It is a contraction of the two Arabic words “Al-Illah” i.e, “The God”. By dropping the letter “I”, you will find the word “Allah”. According to its position in an Arabic sentence it can have the form “Allaha”, which is close to the Hebrew name of the Creator, i.e “Eloha”. But the Jews wrongly use the plural form “Elohim” which denotes more than one God. The word “Allaha” sounds closer to the Aramaic word for God used by Jesus, namely “Alaha” (see Encyclopedia Britanica 1980 under ‘Allah” and “Elohim”.


Now to the verse

One common argument or claim put forth by Christians today is that the Quran claims that Allah has 3 daughters, those daughters being the pagan godesses of Lat, Manat, and Al-Uzza. Does the Quran actually state that Allah has three daughters?

Quran 53 V19: Have you then considered Al-Lat and Al-Uzza (two idols of the pagan arabs)

Quran 53V20: And Manat (another idol of the pagan arabs), the other third?

Christians love to quote these two verses and then stop, the question I will ask both of you now is 'why do you stop there? Is your holy spirit too afraid to quote the rest of the passages? Since you all claim to be inspired by the holy spirit then what is the holy spirit hiding here? Let us now quote the rest of the passages:

Quran 53 v 21
What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female?

Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair!

So had you care to carry on,you would have seen that Allah exposes you making such a lie! Allah tells you that the pagans have invented these false idols, and that it is something corrupt.

Why not quote the rest? In fact I will not hold you responsible for such deceit, but I will hold the holy spirit responsible. Christians claim the holy spirit inspires them, if that is true then the holy spirit is inspiring them to be untruthful, and to be distorters of truth, and to try and make up a lie. And such actions cannot be coming from a holy being, rather such action is inspired by someone called satan, because only satan inspires people to make a lie against Allah and his Noble Quran.

So keep it up with your Satan friend and continue wallowing in your ignorance and quoting out of context.

So I leave you with these questions

1. What language did jesus speak?
2. Is Jesus aware of the name 'God'?
3. Why the use of the name "Allah" for "God" in Arabic bibles?
3. Is God of the OT the same as that of NT?

V17: The sight (of Prophet Muhammed saw) turned not aside (right or left), nor it transgressed beyond the limit (ordained for it)

V18: Indeed he (Muhammed saw) did see of the Greatest signs, of his Lord (Allah)

V21: Is it for you the males and for Him the females?

Three unlikes

1. Jesus is not like moses, because according to christians, jesus is a God but Moses is not.

2. Acording to christians, jesus died for your sins while Moses did not.

3. According to you, jesus went to hell for three days but Moses did not go there.

based on the three unlikes above, jesus is unlike moses, so the prophesy cannot be for him.

Eight similarities between Moses and Muhammed

1. Father and Mother

Moses had a father and mother, Muhammed also had a father and mother, but Jesus had only mother, and no human father. Therefore, Jesus is not like moses

2. Miraculous Birth

Moses and Muhammed (Pbuh) were born in the normal, natural course i.e the p[hysical association of man and woman, but Jesus was created by a special miracle. You will recall that we are told in the Gosdpel of St. Mathew 1v18 ", before they came together, (joseph the carpenter and mary), she was found with child by the Holy Ghost'. And St. Luke tells us that when the good news of the birth of a holy son was announced to her, Mary reasoned ", how shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And th angel answered and said unto her, the holy ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the highet shall overshadow theee, " (Luke 1v35). The Holy Quran confirms the miraculous birth too, in nobler and sublimer terms, In answer to her logical question ,"o my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me? the angel says in reply: Even so: Allah createth what he willeth; when he hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, "BE" and it is. ( Quran 3 v47). Based on the above, Jesus is not like Moses.

3. Marriage Ties

Moses and Muhammed married and begot children, but Jesus remained a bachelor al his life. Therefore, Jesus is not like Moses, but Muhammed is like Moses.

4. Jesus rejected by his people

Moses and Muhammed were accepted as prophets by their people in their very lifetime. No doubt the Jews gave endless trouble to Moses in the wilderness but they acknowledged that Moses was Messenger of God sent to them. The Arabs too, made Muhammed's life impossible. He suffered very badly at their hands. After 13 years of preaching in Mecca, he had to emigrate from the city of his birth. But before his demise, the Arab nation as a whole accepted him as the Messenger of Allah. But according to the bible - He (Jesus) came unto his own, but his own received him not (john 1 v1). And even today, after 2,000 years, his people - the jews as a whole have rejected him. Therefore, Jesus is not like moses but Muhammed.

5. Other wordly kingdom

Moses and Muhammed were prophets as well as kings. By prophet, I mean a man who received Divine Revelation for the guidance of man and this Guidance he conveys to God’s creatures as received without any addition or deletion. A king is a person who has the power of life and death over his people. It is immaterial if he wears crown or not. Moses possessed such a power. He had an Israelite stoned to death for picking firewood on th Sabbath day (numbers 15v36). There are other crimes mentioned in the bible for which capital punishment was inflicted on the Jews at the behest of Moses. Muhammad too had the power of life and death over his people.

There are instances in the bible of persons who were given gift of prophesy only but they were not in the position to implement their directives. Some of these holy men of God who were helpless in the face of stubborn rejection of their message were the prophets Lot, Jonah, Daniel, Ezra and John the Baptist. They could only deliver the message but could not enforce the Law. The Holy Prophet Jesus unfortunately also belonged to this category. The Gospel clearly confirms this: when Jesus was dragged before the Roman Governor, Pilate, charged for sedition, Jesus made a point tin his defence to refute the false charge: Jesus answered , “ My kingdom is not of this world, if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight that I should not be delivered to the Jews, but now is my kingdom not from hence (john 18v36). Therefore Jesus is not like Moses.

6. No new laws

Moses and Muhammad brought new laws and new regulations for their people; Moses not only gave the Ten Commandments to the Israelites, but a very comprehensive ceremonial law for the guidance of his people. Mohammed comes to a people steeped in barbarism and ignorance. They married their stepmothers, they buried their daughters alive, drunkenness, adultery, idolatry and gambling were the order of the day.

From this abject of barbarism, Muhammad elevated them. He gave his people Law s and order they never had before.

As regards Jesus, he told the Jews that he didn’t come with new laws or regulations. I quote his words, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy but to fulfill for verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one title shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. (Mathew 5 v 17-18)

In other words, he had not come with any new laws or regulations; he came only to fulfill old law. This is what he gave the Jews to understand. Therefore, Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammed.

7. How they departed

Both Moses and Muhammad died natural deaths, but according to Christians, Jesus was violently killed on the cross. Therefore, Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad

8. Heavenly abode

Moses and Muhammad both were buried in earth, but according to Christians, Jesus rests in heaven. Therefore Jesus is not like Moses but Muhammad.

Let me have yours probably listed in the format above or in any arragement whatsoever and after that, we move to john 16 v 7.

The Bible's Prophets in the Bible also had a "House of GOD Almighty" that they worshiped Him in.

Lets check some verses

Quran 2 v 144: indeed, we see you look repeatedly towards heaven. We will make you turn towards a Qiblah that will please you. Quran 2 v 146: those whom we gave the book know him as they know their sons. But some of them deliberately conceal the truth. The truth is from your Lord, therefore never doubt it…
Quran 2 v 148: whichever way you depart, face towards the sacred mosque. This is surely the truth from your Lord. Allah is never headless of what you do.
Quran 2 v 149: whichever way you depart, face towards the sacred mosque and wherever you are, face towards it, so that men will have no plea against you except the evil doers among them.

Allah said we should not worship neither sun nor moon

Quran 41 v 37: among his signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. BUT DO NOT PROSTRATE YOURSELVES before the sun or the moon, rather prostrates yourselves before Allah who created them both, if you would truly serve HIM

And if assuming they do, Joseph and Nicodemus had already done the anointing for him.

Mary must have seen the life in him because when the disciples fled, only the females were around and decided to come and anoint her master. Note anointing is the same as Masaha in Hebrew meaning ‘to rub’,  ‘to anoint’. The word and its meaning are the same in the Arabic language. From the root word ‘masaha’, we get the Arabic word ‘maseeh’ and the Hebrew ‘messiah’ both meaning same thing – the anointed one and translated into Greek as ‘christos’ from where the word ‘christ’ is got.

Joseph and Nicodemus did the anointing for Jesus with aloes and myrrh.

I even learnt that aloes and myrrh are for medicinal purpose and also for giving perfume
Aloes: genus of plant of medicinal value.
myrrh: aromatic gum formerly used as incence
incence: gum, spice giving perfume when burned.

Note; We have heard cases of phipinos that tried to be like Jesus, allowing themselves to be nailed and being on the cross for more than 3 hours and never died. Some did this more than 5 times and never died but Jesus, only three hours, gave up the ghost despite  the Vinegar that was given to him to give stimulating effect.

To the issue of your analogy

Number 1 said that mrmayor drove to Lagos from Abuja
Number 2 said that he was towed from TOLL GATE

Number one said mrmayor drove himself to Lagos while 2 said He was towed (probably government officials). Meaning that, He drove himself in number 1 while he was driven in number 2. There is a difference between driving oneself and being driven.

Sir,for Orthodox Jews this practice of not burying the dead on the Sabbath continues,if a person is not Washed,Anointed before the Sabbath,it is the done after the Sabbath,which logically means Anointing already decaying body.BTW,all living things start decaying immediately after death,rate of decay differs.

To let you know, I was born into a christian communty, raised by christian parents, went to christian school and has lots of christians friends both in Nigeria and outside. Despite the difference in faith, we still respect each other and never go beyond each other's limit, we are still best of friends.

I never claimed Mr. know all, knowledge continues till one dies.

To the issue of sonship, crucifixion etc, must youu hold me to believe in your faith and what has been debunked. I have been reading the bible right from my youthful age. Thought at times, you may be reading something and never grab the meaning. The reading continues as time goes by and I can tell you (not boasting), some christians here cannot stand me when it comes to biblical knowledge. I do read bible a lot and through my reading, I was able to detect all the loopholes. Through my reading, I detected that all the doctrines are false and have no solid foundation, most are later insertions. which can be proven.

If you say Jesus died for you, its ok by you, for you is your religion and for me is my religion. You can not tell me that I should take that from you when clear facts are even from your bible and not Quran this time.

Furthermore, you seems to be confused at the sonship of God. The sonship is a jewish language used by them to refer to anyone that does the will of God and not that God giving birth to someone. There is no special attribute to the sonship of God. If you want to tell from that perspective that sonship can be termed 'the one that does the will of God' , its ok by. I am an Arsenal fan so no cause for alaram.

The same way you believe sonship with your heart, so also babs does in his ISLAMIC MONOTHEISM and nothing can ever change that.
