Salam brother, I am not geting you wrong. Cheers, we are here to learn. We muslims must seek knowledge be it in China and we must also know Allah before we worship Him.

I am trying to lay my hands on all the volumes of Tafsir Ibn Kathir from volume 1 to the last volume. It comprises 10 volumes. There, you will learn a lot about the chapters and verses in the Holy Quran.

I learnt that it is not ideal for muslims to be having congregational prayer aside that of the Imam. No two congregation is allowed at the same time.

For clarity, what I am saying above is that, if the Imam wants to pray Ishai with the congregation, to the muslim that hasnt prayed Magrib, he will want to pray his missed solat first before joining others in Ishai. This is very wrong.

If you go to the mosques with the intention of praying Magrib and unfortunately you met the congregation preparing for Ishai, you dont have to pray your Magbrib separately.

We all know that Ishai comprises 4 rakahs while magrib has three.

If you join them when they are about to start, you will have the intention of praying Magrib behind the Imam while others are having the intention of praying Ishai.

You join them in observing the three rakahs but after the sujud, they will stand up to pray the last rakah, you that is praying Magrib behind them will not stand up with them but sit there and say your Tashahud and probably Solatul-Ibraheem and other supplication you can think of.

So when they finish their Tashahud and they say the greeting, "As-salam alaikum wa rahmatullah" (Peace be upon you and God's blessings), you will follow suit and join them in saying it.

But if you meet them observing Ishai and they have prayed 1st rakah, and you meet them during the second rakah, you join them too and does not need to make up for any missed solat since yours is three.

Likewise if you meet them having prayed 2 rakahs, you join them in praying the remaining two and stand up to pray your 3rd Rakah.

Actions are judged by intentions. You will be rewarded for praying Maghrib while they will be rewarded for praying ishai.

After that, you stand up to pray your Ishai.

I am just seeing the thread for the first time. I did not know that it was split. If there is going to be tolerance, it should not be separated afterall muslims and christians are closer to each other in some beliefs than Jews.

I am muslim, very happy being one and will die as a muslim (Insha Allah). Our creator does not want us to be quarelling over issues but rather prefer peaceful co-existence. We are all children of Adam and should try to maintain peace and harmony despite the difference in faith.

We can together address the issue of 'religious tolerance', misinterpretations of religions, grey area, poverty, unemployment etc, but if it going to result to a situation whereby a party will be mocked, ,insulted,not given equal chance to address issue(s) based on his/her religious perspective etc, then it should be separated for peace to reign.

Never mind, you may use any language. I have learnt that most of you resorts to that when you have no relevant answer(s) . Did you read the verse? If say that “I will not be doing something AGAIN”, what does that implies. Is it not that I have been doing it before and want to stop doing it. Is that not called REPENTANCE in Christianity.

How does a person repent from his/her iniquities? Is it not by denouncing what he/she has been doing and with the promise of not doing it again. Compare with the above verse where God says:

E.G: after writing d following passage : And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground anymore for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done. [Genesis 8:21]

Note the word “again”. What is the meaning of again to you.

Understood professor. There is nowhere that says that God was thinking of punishing them BUT that He would not curse the land and smite people again. It means that he has been cursing the land and decided to stop, likewise he decided to stop smiting people. Loving God.

In short, the book should be banned and has no qualification of being a holy book.

I am learning a lot from you, it got muddled up along the line.I even learned from you Christians sometimes when questions on “who wrote the book of Deuteronomy” and “was Moses given any Torah” were thrown to davidylan and he said that Moses’ subordinates might have written the book for him while his sister shahan said moses penned down the chapter by himself. Also, davidylan said that no Torah was given to Moses but only the ten commandment while his sister quoted verses supporting my claim. So can see that I am really learning from you.

Ogboni secret cult

The word ‘Ogboni’ has a lot of meanings. Ogboni may mean – odidi eni so ogun, which means one who can kidnap a complete man for ritual

Another meaning goes thus – the club or cudgel (weapon) of assault and death

Ogboni is known as ‘osugbo’ to ijebu tribe of Yorubas and ‘osugbo’ means ‘the cult of old age’. The word ‘osugbo’ is derived from the cox comb tuft of hair left on the head after it has been cut, and that is the sign of old age.

Ogboni or osugbo can be translated in another way as ‘egbe arugbo’, the ‘conclave of gey haired men.

In ile-ife, ‘ogboni’ is known as ‘imole’ ‘aborigines’ which is another name given to ‘ogboni’ mostly in Oyo State. ‘gori’ is the name that the Hausas give to the ‘ogbonis’

We have other cults similar to ‘ogboni’ and some are

In the olden days before the advent of western civilization, ogboni was a very powerful organization in which all powers belong to.

They are the political organizers in Yoruba land, established for the purpose of maintaining law and order, they deal with criminal charges and settle civil disputes. Among the egbas and the Ijebus, ogboni were the chief executives and the judiciary in the olden days and had judicial powers which of course extended to life and death.

Their meeting day

Ogboni meets on every 17 days unless there is an emergency. They do meet around midnight where nobody will see them maybe as a result of their uniform

Their annual festival
Like others, ogboni secret cult have many kinds of festival. When its time for the festival, the man in charge called ‘ashipa’ will announce the festival day and everybody will prepare for the day. On that day, the first thing they will do is the washing of their ‘father’ and ‘mother’ – the two images of Edan that ogboni believes to be the image of Adam and Eve.

They wash the edan with Odundun leaf, otito leaf, sefunfun leaf, ogbo leaf etc. after washing the idols, they will put them on a very white cloth and ask from ‘edan’ what wil be this year’s sacrifice and whatever it requests, they will provide be it killing of human being.

Dressing of the ogboni

You can identify an ogboni chief with a large trousers with double wrappers, heavy beads on his neck and a broad brimmed hat on his head.

You can also see the ogboni with single broad clothe worn like toga.

We also have chieftains in ogboni but will not go into that because of space.

Ogboni Reformed Fraternity (ORF)

The venerable Archdeacon, Reverend Thomas Adeshina Jacobson Ogunbiyi was the founder of the ROF. He was born in Isale Eko, Lagos Nigeria. He was the only African archdeacon of the Anglican Communion of his time.

The man was the most distinguished commander of the Britis Empire (BE) as well as the Honourable member of the Legislative Council (MLC). He was also the Licentiate of Theology. He was a spiritual church leader and an innovator who introduced things into the church such as celebration of harvest festival into the Anglican Church in 1910 A.D and at the  Holy Trinity Church, Ebute Metta in Lagos State

Ogunbiyi was the man who first put public Christian revival services in practice in 1913 AD  when he founded the Lagos Keswick Convention

Through ogunbiyi, Nigerian churches put their heads together to form a body at Onitsha in 1943 AD known as (CCN) Christian Council of Nigeria with the company of all eminent churches of that time such as

1. CMS (church missionary society) known then as Anglican
2. he Methodist church (Wesleyans then)
3. the salvation Army Church
4. the Baptist church

he was a member of ogboni ibile in lagos city. A member of ogboni aborigine in Abeokuta and also a member of osugbo cult in Ijebuland

ogunbiyi was the first olori apena of the fraternity. He died on june 19, 1952

We shall see as we proceed if I understand christianity, its origin, pagan influence, the false doctrines, origin of the bible, authors of the bible etc. If your brothers and sisters stop posting and saying disgusting things about Islam, babs will do same. How many of

There is nothing like prayer being rendered useless. If prayer could be useless as a result of not praying on time, then there wont be any need for observing the missed solat.

What is there is that, congregational prayer has reward more than praying alone. The hadith you quoted below talked on the importance and reward for pronouncing the Adhan, standing in the first row and also praying in the congregation.

Dear brother, there is nothing like prayer being rendered useless. Please try to get any book on Solat or Figh-U-Sunnah etc and you will learn a lot about solat.

But that does not make them the real ones as depicted in the clear words of the Prophet (saw).

If advancement in knowledge will be enough to explain these signs, then it would not be out of place to use it for issues about life after death and especially the punishment in hell and enjoyment in Al-Jannah. My humble position is that these signs are going to appear as the Prophet (saw) has foretold them.

His coming is one of the major events at th end of time. Allah (swt) will send this righteousman even if it will only remain a day for the world to end. His name will be Muhammed ibn Abdullah. He will also be known as Jaabir because he will unite the hearts of the followers of prophet Muhammed (saw). He will be from the progeny of Fatimah, daughter of the prophet (saw) through Hasan. The prfophet has said that a calamity will descend on the Ummah in such a way that there will be no refuge from it. Thereafter, Allah (swt) will entrust the affairs of Muslims to a man, Mahdi, as a guide and reformer. He will be recognised without any iota of doubt about his personality. During his reign, there will be profuse rainfall to the extent that the earth will leave nothing ungrown until those alive will yearn that the dead comes back to life. He will live in this era for seven to nine years. When he eventually dies, the Muslims will bury him.

There is nothing like your Asr prayer being rendered useless if do not pray on time. From the Hadith posted therein, there is nothing like that

What is there is that, the reward for praying in a congregational prayer has 27 times reward more than praying alone.

So there is nowhere that says, Asr prayer will be useless if you do not pray on time.

There may be instances in which you may not be able to meet up with the congregation, that does not render your prayer useless but you will not be able to earn reward just like in congregational prayer.

Alhamdulillah for being a muslim, your bible never told you anything about the Jinns. Jesus that was supposed to tell you was never allowed and therefore told you that he had to go so that the comforter will come. The comforter came, told you everything that you never and will find in the bible, but due to pride, arrogance, whatever, you ignored the message.

I mailed my brothers here on nairaland sometimes ago about the lies being spread around by Iblis, the leader of the Jinns on this particular dream you mentioned.

The first experience I had with the so-called Jesus appearing to someone in a dream was when I was in Secondary School. I was not yet a muslim then. A muslim friend of mine (an alfa, very religious) came to me and his other friends and told us that he he saw Jesus in a dream telling him to come and worship him. He also said that in the dream, the disguised Jinn told him that if he did not come and worship him, he would perish. After hearing the story, as a christian, we told the guy that since Jesus appeared to him by himself, we dont need to preach to him again that he should just accept Jesus into his life.

After so many years, I had another experience through a yoruba movie then called "Agbara Nla" (Mighty Power) produced by Mount Zion Faith Ministries. There I watched how the pastor (s) prayed for a demonic possessed lady. From there, I learnt that if you pray fervently to a demonic possessed victim, the jinn (called demon in christianity) will talk through the victim. You will be able to interact with the demon and likewise ask the demon anything you feel like knowing e.g, the reason for entering the victims body etc. After discusiing with the demon, through your prayer, the demon will leave the victims's body and never come back.

After walking in the darkness for years (probably to learn lots about christian's doctrine), I REVERTED back to ISLAM.

Alhamdulillah, the society I belonged specialises in casting out jinn from a possessed victim. There is this prayer called RUQIAH in which if you are to say it to any demonic possesses victim, the demon will leave the victim but yo must be strong in faith. But for a muslim that is not strong in faith, the only thing you can do is to be playing the tape, disc etc, if the demons are in your room, they will be uncomfortable and leave.

The last experience I had opened my eyes to the lies perpetrated by Jinns.

There was this lady called Mariam, a secondary school student. She was very religious and very brillant. Along the line, she offended the Jinn and the jinn entered her body, kept disturbing her making her feel uncomfortable to the extent that at times she couldnt control herself. She was in Science class but due to the disturbance by the jinn, he knowledge reduced, she moved to Commercial and finally to art class.

When her parent noticed her being possessed, they sent for the Ustazh and he with others prayed for her and she was relieved but some months later, her parents had to call again telling us that her sickness had started.

Off they went to Ibadan to meet Mariam and they prayed for her. During the prayer , the jinn felt uncomfortable, feeling the hotness of the prayer and had to voice out.

The jinn started talking through mariam and said that she came all the way from Korea.The Jinn said that she was in Mecca before Abraham was born but when he was born, she had to leave and come to Nigeria. From the jinn, I learnt that the least number of years spend before they die is 80,000 years.Some do live up to 500,000 years or more.

The jinn said they work directly for Iblis (satan) and they too they have the people that are working for them. She mentioned Awolowo, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Pastor Kumuyi of Deeper Life, Pastor Fakeye of white garment church, Fasheun, leader of the OPC that they all came for wordly gains.

Having said that, the jinn continued that, they used to go to Heaven to hear what is being said (they are being used by sootsayers, palmist, fortune teller etc) but that when the Quran was about to be revealed, they were pursued with fire and brimstones.

The jinn continued that Islam is the way and the truth but that it looks hard to practice and that whether you like it or not, be you christian, atheist, budhaism, muslim etc, its this same Arabic that everyone will speak on that day.

The jinn continued about the speaking in tongue especially by the white garment churches. The jinn said that they are always at work in that aspect.

The jinn continued when asked about the so-called picture of jesus being carried about.

The jinn said that, most christians are not reasonable that THE PICTURE IS NOT THAT OF JESUS BUT WHAT THEY BELIEVED AS JESUS. Honestly, if christians are really wise, they would have noticed that there lots of pictures potrayed as Jesus. Some you will Jesus having beards, some you wont see. Even at the so called cricifiction, you will some pictures having crown of thorn, some having beards while some will not have beards. Na wa o. May Allah continue to increase our knowledge in Islam.

The Jinn then said that if only the christians have sense, they would have seen that the picture of the LAST PROPHET IS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN BUT ONLY SEEING THAT OF THE PROPHETS YEARS BEFORE THE LAST PROPHET AND THAT IF IT CAN, THEY THE JINN WOULD HAVE SHOWN PEOPLE. The jinn said that Allah made it impossible for them so that they wouldnt be carrying pics around their necks, homes etc and worsipping the pics.

The Jinn then said that what they normally do for the believers is that, in a dream, they will show the so called picture of jesus with lights shining to the picture and will tell the person that this is jesus, that this your last chance to worship me, that if you dont, you will perish

I was shocked when I heard this because if someone had told me, I wouldnt have believed.

So years later, that alfa friend of mine and I met and I had to tell hin the story and play him the tape. He thanked me and tod me that ever since the school incident in which he dreamt, he never prayed as he used to and very confused about Islam but that now, Allah has shown him really that Islam is the way and the only religion. He has started praying and fasting like he used to as a muslim.

To you now, the so called picture is that of Jesus. Why dont we have pictures of those that came after him, cant you think? Enough of this deception. Is that really Jesus. Having you seen black Jesus. Whites draw the picture of Jesus as white man while some black are having black pictures. But if white wants to draw satan, he will paint it black. Na wa o, May God help christians.

Also Alhamdulillah, through this tape alone, I was able to convert a lady years back. She was suprised, she has never heard it before. I told her that Allah has been showing signs but people has been waiving it aside. I told her about the snail that came out from the beach and has 'LA ILAH ILALAH MUHAMMED ROSULULAH" written on its body, some trees in germany having that same type of message, a tree at Army cantonment at Ikeja having same, a baby was born at Agege, a suburb of Lagos State having the same message on her forehead. We also have a case of a boy in Tanzania preaching the gospel of Islam etc. The lady denounced christianity and accepted Islam and I took her to some sisters that did the bathing to Islam and other things for her. She is now assisting in spreading the message of Islam.

Early last year, I woke up and felt a stange hotness of the body, I grabbed my Quran started recitation but still felt uncomfortable. I started reciting La ilah ilalah and along the line, something within me told me that I should mention the name of Jesus in which I declined and continued with the supplication to Allah. Along the supplcation, I slept off and woke up the next day feeling refreshed as if nothing happened. If I had said the name of Jesus stuff which was the work of the Jinn, I would have thought that there is power in that name having woken up refreshed the next day and would have doubted Islam.

I have sent messages to mosques about this same deceit and some muslims are equally aware. So, no place for you here, you may go to other place.

So babysin, yours is not the first case. When Allah (SWT) created Adam, he told all the Angels to make prostrate, all did except Iblis. Iblis said how could he prostrate for someone Allah created from clay having created him from fire. As a result, Allah then chased him from heaven. Iblis told Allah that He should allow him never to die till Judgement that he would lie in wait for man and will make then never to be appreciable to Allah but to creation. Allah granted him his desire but told him that any man that follow Iblis does so do at his own peril.
