Your posts shows that you are not intelligent enough and not ready to accept defeat despite the obvious flooring. I gave you biblical verses AND not even ARABIC BIBLE where i showed you 'the lord' and asked for 'yahweh' but you pretended not to see that. I also gave you that of arabic bible and you went to post stupidly and even asked you what northern christian call HIM but you still couldnt provide sensible explanation. Again, what is the Aramaic,Hebrew word for GOD?
IslamRe: Amazing! The Plot Thickens. by babs787(m): 10:15pm On Mar 28, 2009
Coward. You have been having problem with the word ALLAH,thinking that you understand what you posted but you never did.when I presented the Arabic bible to you and even gave you roman 6,particularly verse on the use of SLAVE,you resorted to another tactics after being exposed and lectured

@Davidylan

I forgot to add this:

blabs, just 2 questions for you slave of the devil . . .
Romans 6 v
15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!

16Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.

18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

19I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.

20When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

21What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!

22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

Boy Oh boy. You no go kill me with your ignorance o grin. Always moving round in circles when answers are being provided to your questions.

You brought an allegation and I asked for the explanation of the use of THE LORD and meaning of YAHWEH from your biuble but you couldnt provide answers.

Also, since you have problem with the word ALLAH, I asked you what do we have in Arabic bible, gave you verses where ALLAH is being used but you couldnt profer answers but rather ask another questions:

blabs, just 2 questions for you slave of the devil . . .
Oldo, go read the book of Romans where Paul made u know that you are a slave of righteousness and that paradise is yours having moved from slave of sin.

1. Why quote from the very bible you yourself claim has been corrupted by the pen of the scribes?
I use what you believe in to discuss with you. Besides, is that not the truth?
2. When was the arabic bible written? Long after islam had been established CLEARLY as an opposition to christianity and a religion hell bent on forcing itself into the bible? Yeah you can only decieve morons with your post.
Since you claimed that it was written after Islam has been established,

who wrote the Arabic bible? Is it not your people that did that and is it not your people that reads that and act as part of evangelising? What word did they use for ALLAH in your Arabic bible

What does Northern Christians call God?

It seems you have no answers/explanation to those Arabic biblical verses:

Genesis 1:1

"In the beginning God created
the Heaven and the Earth . . . "

[Genesis 1:1 - Arabic transliteration]

"Fee al-badi' khalaqa Allahu
as-Samaawaat wa al-Ard . . . "

What is the meaning of the enboldened word therein David?

2.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world,
that . . . "

John 3:16 - Arabic transliteration]

"Li-annhu haakadha ahabba
Allahu al-'Aalama hataa badhala . . . "

Do you care to provide explanation to the enboldened word?

3.

Luke 1:30

" . . . Fear not, Mary:
for thou hast found favor with God."

Luke 1:30 - Arabic transliteration]

" . . . Laa takhaafee, yaa
Maryam, li-annaki qad wajadti ni'amat(an) i'nda Allahi."

Muslim's Manners and Duties

A Muslim's life is nothing but total commitment to Allah. We are not only monotheists (people of tawheed) but we are also theo centric people.

Surat Al-Israa' was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in Makkah after his Night Journey from Makkah to Jerusalem . In verses 23–39 of this surah, Allah mentions some basic commitments of Muslims. Without fulfilling these commitments, no individual or group can succeed. Muslims have to live by these values and should invite humanity to these principles. These principles are not limited to one race, tribe, or group; they are universal in their scope and application. These are also called the hikmah or the teachings of wisdom. It is wise for everyone to follow them. If followed properly, they are capable of increasing the goodness and wisdom of all people. These principles are as follows:

1. To worship Allah alone

(Thy Lord hath decreed, that ye worship none save Him.) (Al-Israa' 17:23)

This means to recognize Allah as the ultimate reality and to recognize Allah as the Lord, to worship Him with all sincerity and to submit to Him in every aspect of life. A Muslim's life is nothing but total commitment to Allah. Allah is the center of our life and He is our total and ultimate concern.

2. To be respectful and kind to parents

(And (that ye show) kindness to parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not "Fie" unto them nor repulse them, but speak unto them a gracious word. And make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: My Lord! Have mercy on them both as they did care for me when I was little.) (Al-Israa' 17:23-24)

This is to acknowledge the compassion and kindness of parents, to be grateful to them, and to do one's utmost to reciprocate that love and compassion. Filial piety and devotion is the second most important commitment of Muslims. Respect and kindness to parents is not just a social duty for us; it is our religious duty and obligation.

3. To be good to relatives, to the poor, and to the travelers

(Give the kinsman his due, and the needy, and the wayfarer.) (Al-Israa' 17:26)

This is to remember that we are interconnected in this world. Our responsibilities are not only towards ourselves and our immediate families, but also to other relatives and to the society at large. We are all in need of each other and we are all fellow travelers in this path of life. We must see what we can do for others. Muslims must live a socially responsible life. Social responsibility begins with the family and other relatives and it includes all those who are in need.

4. To be careful with money and not waste resources

(And squander not (thy wealth) in wantonness. Lo! the squanderers were ever brothers of the devils, and the devil was ever an ingrate to his Lord … And let not thy hand be chained (like a niggard's) to thy neck nor open it with a complete opening, lest thou become blameworthy and destitute. Lo! thy Lord enlargeth the provision for whom He will, and straiteneth (it for whom He will). Lo, He was ever Knower, Seer of His slaves.) (Al-Israa' 17:26-27, 29-30)

One should be neither too tight with one's money nor too loose with it. Extravagance is not right, but also one should not become stingy and miserly. A Muslim is committed to the balanced life style. Money should be earned in halal (lawful) ways and it should be spent in the right manner. This principle can be applied to all resources that Allah has given us. Wise and conscientious use of resources is a very important commitment of Muslims.

5. To take good care of children

(Slay not your children, fearing a fall to poverty, We shall provide for them and for you. Lo! the slaying of them is great sin.) (Al-Israa' 17:31)

As we recognize the rights of the parents, we should also recognize the rights of children. Our children are our future. We must see that we raise healthy, intelligent and morally responsible children. Our commitment should be to raise them in safe and healthy environment. We must protect their life as well as their sprit and mind, their morals and manners.

6. To steer clear of adultery and illicit relations

(And come not near unto fornication. Lo! it is an abomination and an evil way.) (Al-Israa' 17:32)

Sexual perversions bring the greatest harm to individuals and societies. Observing the proper rules in this matter lead to health, happiness, and a good, moral society. Muslims are committed to pure, clean, and socially responsible lifestyle. Islam teaches that one should not come even close to adultery or fornication. This means proper dress codes for males and females, proper behavior in mixed societies, and proper control on social relations and entertainment.

7. To respect every life and not to kill anyone unless in the pursuit of justice

(And slay not the life which Allah hath forbidden except for a just cause.)
(Al-Israa' 17:33)

This means that one should recognize the sanctity of all life and should not do anything that may jeopardize life. One should avoid aggression and violence, because these things lead to murder. Every Muslim must be committed to peaceful ways. Conflicts should be resolved by dialogue and negotiations, not by killings and murders. However, justice must be maintained, because just punishment brings safety and protects life.

8. To take care of the orphans

(Come not nigh to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strengthwink
(Al-Israa' 17:34)

Orphans and all those who are vulnerable must be taken care of. Their rights must be recognized and they should be protected from all harm. A Muslim must be deeply committed to the care of the young, poor, infirm, and handicapped. Kindness and compassion is the basic commitment of a Muslim. It includes everyone and includes the animals.

9. To fulfill promises and commitments

(And keep the covenant. Lo! of the covenant it will be asked.) (Al-Israa' 17:34)

Promises and contracts are an important part of human life and human civilization. When promises are not kept, people lose trust in each other and the whole society becomes weak. Muslims must be true to their words. Our commitment must be to speak the truth and to be honest and when we make a pledge we must do our best to fulfill our pledges.

10. To be honest in business dealings and not cheat in weight or measurement

(Give full measure when ye measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight: that is the most fitting and the most advantageous in the end.)
(Al-Israa' 17:35)

Honest business brings progress, success, and blessings. All business, whether commercial, social, or political must be done with a sense of justice and fairness. A Muslim is committed to fair dealing in every thing and with every one. Dealing with a Muslim means dealing with full confidence. A Muslim businessman should be the most truthful businessman. A Muslim worker should be the most honest worker. A Muslim in any profession should bring honor to that profession.

11. To do things with knowledge and not follow hearsay or act on half knowledge

(follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart—of each of these it will be asked.)
(Al-Israa' 17:36)

The information agencies, the media, have a great responsibility. A lot of injustice is done when misinformation is given or information is misused. Muslims should be committed to truth in information. They should promote truthful and honest reporting about everyone, including their enemies. A report coming from a Muslim source should be the most trustworthy report. In a similar way, Muslims should be extremely careful with their actions and reactions. They should not react against everyone without proper evidence.

12. To be humble and have no arrogance

(And walk not on the earth exultant. Lo! thou canst not rend the earth, nor canst thou stretch to the height of the mountains.)
(Al-Israa' 17:37)

Moderation and balance is the best thing in one's behavior as well as in one's attitude toward others. A Muslim is a dignified person, but he or she is humble. A Muslim is not boastful, arrogant, or vainglorious. A Muslim thanks Allah for all His gifts. For everything, the ultimate praise is for Allah and the real glory belongs to Allah.

These are the basic commitments of Muslims as individuals and as people. These are the principles of wisdom and the universal values of Islam. When they are followed, they bring justice, peace, and happiness in this world and they will indeed bring success and salvation in the Hereafter. Let us all try to make these our real commitments.
IslamRe: Islamic Talk: by babs787(m): 2:41pm On Mar 28, 2009
The human body, a totally separate world of its own, resembles a living “machine.” Inside that machine there is equipment with a technology far superior to any advanced technology outside, specialized elements displaying consciousness, by the will of Allah, fully equipped soldiers and many other systems. It is our Lord, Almighty Allah, Lord of the Worlds, who creates this order in the systems in the body and the sublime design visible at every point.

BRAIN / COMPUTER

Every nerve cell possesses special units for transmitting data. All by itself, the brain is capable of performing the work of 4.5 million transistors that permit the transmission of data by the microprocessor in a good computer. This figure is very low compared to the 10 billion nerve cells engaged in the electrical exchange of information in the brain. In addition, while the brain is able to perceive taste and smell signals, there is as yet no product of industry capable of doing this.

MUSCLE AND BONE / CENTRAL HEATING-AIR CONDITIONING

The movement of the muscles warms the body in cold weather. In this way the muscles are able to provide 90% of body heat. Perspiration, on the other hand, functions as an ideal cooling mechanism in the event of overheating. These two complementary systems work to keep the body temperature stable under all circumstances. This system works much faster, and with much better results, than any central heating or air conditioning system.

HORMONES / THE MAIL SYSTEM

Everything in the body is in a state of communication. Many messages consist of hormones, made up of large molecules. There is no destination address on the message packet carried by hormones, which travel freely through the circulatory system and neurons. Yet, the package still reaches its destination because the organs to open it are equipped with special receptors to capture these messages.

KIDNEYS/ PURIFICATION FACILITIES

Thanks to up to a million mini-filters known as nephrons, the human kidney filters 140 liters of blood a day. Over the course of 80 years around 1 deciliter a minute (one-tenth of a liter) is constantly subjected to this filtration process. Processing facilities, used for industrial wastes, have a greater capacity than that of kidneys. However, their life spans are incomparably shorter. Moreover, the structure of the substances being filtered is much simpler than that of blood. The kidney has a far more complex and efficient system than any filtration facility

THE HEART / PUMPING SYSTEMS

The heart starts beating while still in the mother’s womb and works non-stop at a rate of 70-200 beats a minute throughout one’s life. It rests for at least half a second between beats. It beats approximately 10,000 times a day. At the time of resting, the heart of someone weighing 60 kilos pumps an average of 6.5 liters of blood. During one’s life time the heart pumps enough blood to fill 500 swimming pools with a volume of 300 m3. Man-made pumping systems are unable to function as efficiently without requiring any maintenance.

ARM / LEVER

The arm works like a lever. It uses the elbow as a fulcrum and establishes movement by stretching and contracting the muscles. Levers operate on the same principle. Yet, Levers have to show the same effort no matter what weight is involved, whereas the arm muscles are capable of adjusting their contraction accordingly.

EYE / CAMERA

The retina layer in the eye is the most light-sensitive of all known materials. Different types of light-perceiving cells are arranged so as to provide the best image of the field of vision. The eye also focuses automatically and adjusts its sensitivity according to the intensity of light outside. Such features make the eye far more superior to any camera or photographic equipment in the world.

EAR / HI-FI

Hairy cells in the human inner ear convert vibrations in the air into electrical signals, like a microphone. The ear only perceives sounds between frequencies of 20-20,000 Hz. This range is the ideal specially selected for human beings. If the human hearing range had been any wider, we would be able to detect the footsteps of an ant walking on the ground or the high-frequency sound waves in the atmosphere. Living in such a constant state of noise would mean that human beings would never enjoy neither peace nor comfort.

IMMUNE SYSTEM / ARMY

Our organisms are being protected by some 200 billion lymphocytes (white blood corpuscles). These have intelligence systems, lethal weapons and particular war strategies, similar to that of soldiers. Nevertheless, no army in the world is as accurate, flawless, and successful as the immune system. (Harun Yahya, The Design in Nature)

CELL / ENGINE

In terms of fuel, the cell is a very economical engine. It burns small molecules namely ATP as fuel. The efficiency it maintains in using these molecules is greater than that of any engine. The cell also performs various and highly complex functions which technological devices are not able to perform.

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

From wikipedia - Etymology
The term Allāh is derived from a contraction of the Arabic definite article al- "the" and ʼilāh "deity, god" to al-lāh meaning "the [sole] deity, God" (ho theos monos).

Could you please tell me the meaning of Yahweh?

Why do we have THE LORD here:

What does Arabic bible uses for Allah?

[Genesis 1:1 - Arabic transliteration]

"Fee al-badi' khalaqa Allahu

John 3:16 - Arabic transliteration]

1. (Koran 8:12) "Remember Thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them."

In the above verse the great prophet of Islam, Mohammed, is giving step by step instructions on how to torture and kill the unbelievers if they don't follow Islam. He is clearly instructing Muslims to commit cold-blooded murder in the name of religion.
The above verse was revealed after the Battle of Badr which happened to be the first battle between Muslim and Unbelieversr. It contains a detailed review of the Battle and you should know that the Quran was not arranged in chronological order and some verses relating tol the problem therein are in some other chapters, thereby incorporated here to make it continuous

From Tafisr Ib Kathir:

I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved.) means, `you -- angels -- support the believers, strengthen their (battle) front against their enemies, thus, implementing My command to you. I will cast fear, disgrace and humiliation over those who defied My command and denied My Messenger,

(so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.) strike them on their foreheads to tear them apart and over the necks to cut them off, and cut off their limbs, hands and feet. It was said that,

over the necks) refers to striking the forehead, or the neck, according to Ad-Dahhak and `Atiyyah Al-`Awfi. In support of the latter, Allah commanded the believers,

So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's cause) those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, take them as captives).) [47:4]

Ar-Rabi` bin Anas said, "In the aftermath of Badr, the people used to recognize whomever the angels killed from those whom they killed, by the wounds over their necks, fingers and toes, because those parts had a mark as if they were branded by fire.'' Allah said,

(and smite over all their fingers and toes.)

Ibn Jarir commented that this Ayah commands, "O believers! Strike every limb and finger on the hands and feet of your (disbelieving) enemies.'' Al-`Awfi reported, that Ibn `Abbas said about the battle of Badr that Abu Jahl said, "Do not kill them (the Muslims), but capture them so that you make known to them what they did, their ridiculing your religion and shunning Al-Lat and Al-`Uzza (two idols).'' Allah than sent down to the angels,

(Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.)

2. (Koran 2:216) "Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that you hate a thing which is good for you and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, you knew not."
Allah commands that Muslims lead peaceful lives and not transgress against anyone. If they are persecuted and oppressed, Allh recommends that they migrate to a more peaceful and tolerant land but if relocation is not possible, then a muslim must defend himself by fighting against oppression but if they incline towards peace, incline towards same too because Allah does not like transgressors

3. (Koran 69:30-37) "It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. You desire the lure of this world and Allah desires for you the hereafter and Allah is Mighty, Wise, Now enjoy what you have won as lawful and good and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is forgiving, merciful."
YOU ARE A LIAR JUST LIKE YOUR BIG BROTHER DAVIDYLAN. This is the verses that talks about JUDGEMENT DAY:

30. (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him,

31. "And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire.

32. "Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits!

33. "This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High.

34. "And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent!

35. "So no friend hath he here this Day.

36. "Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds,

37. "Which none do eat but those in sin."

4. (Koran 69:30-37) "(It will be said) Take him and fetter him and expose him to hell fire. And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. Lo! he used not to believe in God the tremendous, and urged not on the feeding of the wretched. Therefore hath he no lover hear this day nor any food save filth which none but sinners eat."
Olodo, read the verses up and stop lying. Cheat grin

5. (Koran 5: 33-34) "The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet and alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom; Save those who repent before ye overpower them. For know that Allah is forgiving, merciful."
What is your problem with the above so that I go into your bible to pick up verses and you would oblige by explaining them to me?

6. (Koran 22: 19-22) "These twain (the believers and the disbelievers) are two opponents who contend concerning their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them, boiling fluid will be poured down their heads. Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted; And for them are hooked rods of iron. Whenever, in their anguish, they would go forth from thence they are driven back therein and (it is said unto them): Taste the doom of burning."
What is your problem with the punishment in the hereafter please? Discuss with me.

7. (Koran 76: 4) "Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers chains, yokes and a blazing fire."
Do you read your bible at all before lifting verses ignorantly? The above verses are self explanatory as it happens to refer to punishment to disbelievers like you in the hereafter

One Hadith explains: "We desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, but at the same time we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing 'azl [coitus interruptus]. But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah's Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah's Messenger, and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born"
The Hadith, Volume, Chain of transmission and number please.

Let us face today's reality, The war in Iraq is a political war by the US, they are only trying to prove their supremeness over Iraq, so do not attribute it to chritianity. you get that. We all know the meaning of Jihad, it only depends on our understanding, abi, but the war fought by Usman Dan fodio is a Jihad isn't it? then what is the arguement about/ Jihad simply means fighting Infidels.
Funny how I have been around for few days and you, Davidylan litter this section with your lies. Please wise up and let us discuss intelligently and in a mature way.

Do you care to prove me your own understanding of Jihad with facts?

IslamRe: Is Mohammad Really The Last Prophet From The Biblical God? by babs787(m): 12:00pm On Mar 18, 2009
@Davidylan

another foolish mooslim is trying to explain the bible to me?
Can ye not read your own quran instead of ferreting in the same book you fools claim is corrupted?

Ye are of your father the devil.
What do you expect from a liar that has been exposed severally? How many of your alleged prophecies have I exposed? You couldnt have read the bible more than I do? Your problem is insincerity, you are not being fair to yourself. When a muslim uses Quran to discuss with you, you say you dont believe in that but when the same muslim uses your bible, you go haywire claiming that he is not sticking to his book. Na wa for you o

You have been proving prophecies that have nothing to do with Jesus and all have been debunked. You could do more by giving me others and would do justice to them.

@Lady

He was always the SON OF MAN. But he did say that he and the father are one. So from that we take it that he is also GOD.
NA LIE. He is not God and claimed that God is greater than him.

John 14:

28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one

IslamRe: A Muslim Asks A Few Questions . . . by babs787(m): 7:24pm On Mar 15, 2009
Davidylan is at it again grin. Asking
childish questions even when answers are being provided.

Can a man gather with his wife and pray with her without her having to stay behind him like a slave?
What are you insinuating here? Do you expect them to stand side by side when praying?

Who says Nikkah is not being conducted in a Mosque?

Your sense of reasoning is quite appaling.

Can I have those words please?
IslamRe: Islamic Culture? by babs787(m): 7:39pm On Mar 12, 2009
@Jairzinho

So if you already have threads on this ,what do u want from me again ??
You started it when you responded to Olabowale thus:

Please don't start trying to quote half truths about the Bible, this is an Islamic thread,if you want to contest the Bible, meet me up in the Christian section. I know many people have taken you up on many of these falsehoods,so lets keep our eye on the ball here.
I signified my interest in taking up on issuesin your book with regards to your doctrines in which TRINITY  happened to be the first we would discuss

I doubt if you will agree with anything I add ,I can perceive u have made up your mind not to take in anythng in this regard,so no problems,  . .
.  . . .

You perceived wrongly. I  would accept if there is honesty, truth in your posts coupled with biblical verses. I have not made up mind but open to discussion. You could go to the threads opened or where I discussed with your folks and would see that none was able to deal justly on the issue of TRINITY etc and since you told Olabowale to come to your section if he wants to discuss the bible with you, I thereby took up the challenge.

@Lawjay

If the truth be told, Islam is inherently violent. There are several verses in Quran that faithfuls can use to support there violent acts. The Bible condemns violence. Jesus preaches love, tolerance. Jesus never encourages anyone to kill for God or him. I doubt if the same can be said about Mohammed.
Are you referring to OT or NT or do you care wie look into the bible for violence and see the peace preached therein?
