No.2 : you see why i say u jump into immature conclusions?, first, a prophesy was said about this man's death (Judas) by Jeremiah that a field will be bought by the money used in buying the Christ and there the seller will die and the field will be called "place of blood" so go back and search again there was never a place that said Judas bought a field, but that this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity.I will be very much interested in the full prophecy and see if it has anything to do with Judas. I go lie here dey wait the sharing of it. ![]() |
@Bawomowo Oya siddon make we lecture ourselves rather playing the game of ignorant. no where in this passage does it say men are equal to allah. all it says are women to be obedient to allah, believe in chastity blah blah blah. Where does it say a man is equal to woman?? I don't think you get my question. now let me be your Imam for a day GrinOga, how could man be equal to God? Is everything alright sir? ![]() "Mankind! Stop behaving like that Olodo friend of mine. Read the verses yourself. |
@Ndipe and Davidylan Ndipe: He may not be in living now but he was never crucified. I replied based on your questions with regards to Muhammad and used others as examples too. Its quite pathetic that you couldnt reason and read all I posted. You claimed that he died and I gave you facts supporting that which you have not been able to refute. Lest I forget, you could create a thread if you wanna discuss Muhammad (saw). Now, can you do the 3 days and three nights calculation for me? when was he buried? When did he rise? Thanks |
@Deebrain Guys,Let us see if you have been reading your book with open mind. Do you care to show me in your bible where Jonah died in the belly of that whale? |
@Davidylan Quote from: babs787 on Yesterday at 11:22:01 PM |
@Ndipe If that's the analogy you are going to use, to counter the truth of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, on the basis that God wanted to protect Him, due to his Love for Him, so, what then why didnt God save Mohammed from dying. Did he not find the same favor from God, to prevent him from dying. I mean, you guys believe that he was a prophet from God, so then, by your premises, he should not have died, because God protects the just.He didnt die nor resurrected and my posts have showed that. I thought you would provide rebuttal but all you could do was tried chaging it to that of Muhammad. For your information, if you have anything to discuss about Muhammad, create a thread and be sure you would be answered. You are asking why God didnt save Mohammad but you orgot that this same Jesus is no more on earth and you should also know that God gave his prophets/messengers different assignments. Since you refused to accept the truth after serving you my posts, do yu say Moses, Ezekiel, Job, Joseph, David, Solomon are not from God since they died and are you saying they ought not to have died? Orisirisi ![]() |
@Ttalks,Bobbyaf Please in what way is Jesus like Jonah?I would be happy if you could break it down for me as I need something therein. I would also need the breakdown as to why Jesus gave the reason out of so many reasons? Thanks I have no idea why this question is being asked. But if it's a way to say Christ didn't die on the cross when crucified, the bible has this to say:Sure you got it. John 19:30Now, how could God have allowed him to die when: Psalm 37 v 28: For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off; Mathew 26v37-39: …. And he began to be sorrowful and very depressed. Then said he unto them,’my soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death….’ And he went a little farther and fell on his face and prayed saying, ‘ o my father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me nevertheless, not as I will but as thou wilt. James 5v16: the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much Hebrews 5v7: who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared. Luke 22v43: and there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand. (Psalms 20:6) What could an angel be strenghtening him for? Jesus was given vinegar that suppossed to have stimulating effect on him just like smelling salt but he rather gave up the ghost in less than three hurs. Normally, crucifixion is a slow death in which the victim dies slowly from suffocation for days but in Jesus case, he died within three hours!!! Crucifixion was a slow death. It usually lasted several days. Crucifixion was resorted to in order to provide a cruel and lingering punishment, the victim sometimes not dying for several days. Jesus was drugged to keep him alive; he fell unconscious before the Roman soldiers could break his legs. The victims normally have their legs broken to quicken the death but in Jesus case, he was already dead before they could do that and there is a prophecy with regards to that showing that there is a reason for not breaking his legs. For an exhausted man, a sniff or taste of vinegar would induce a restorative, rejuvenating effect. Surprisingly, in Jesus' case the effect is exactly the opposite. As soon as he tastes or inhales the sponge he expires. This is physiologically inexplicable, if indeed it was vinegar. On the other hand if it were a sponge soaked in a soporific drug - a mixture of opium and/or belladonna, for instance, commonly used in Palestine at that time - unconsciousness would occur, giving the impression of sudden death. Also Pilate expressed doubt that Jesus was dead and marvelled: And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. (Mark 14:44) His side was shook with spears and blood gushed out showing sign of life. His body was taken down to private tomb where medicines was used to revive him. Joseph of Arimathea and a colleague, Nicodemus, visited the tomb during the night and brought with them a very large amount of spices: myrrh and aloes. Both substances have a medicinal use—most notably, myrrh has been used as an aid to stop bleeding. Neither drug is known to have a role in embalming dead bodies. Do Jew massage dead bodies after 3 days? Funny enough from the bible, the crucified son is under God’s curse: His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged [is] accursed of God that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance. (Deuteronomy 21:23)Amazingly, the Bible says that Jesus was crucified on a tree: The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. (Acts 5:30) And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: (Acts 10:39) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: (Galatians 3:13) Christ himself even confirmed his death and resurrection by himself in:This title of Alpha and Omegais absent in the RSV and the ancient texts (cf. Companion Bible note to the text). It appears only in the Receptus and hence the KJV. Hence the original text which reads more or less as the RSV: Revelation 1:11 11 saying, "Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Per'gamum and to Thyati'ra and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to La-odice'a." (RSV) This text becomes in the KJV: Revelation 1:11 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. (KJV) BE THE JUDGE |
DAVIDYLAN, Whats your problem sef, you like deflecting threads, OLODO ![]() |
What response do you need apart from this one David: Now about the "rape and illegal sex" thats bad and unislamic. It is unhuman and there is no elevation of humanity in it! |
@georgecsco I have been following your posts and saw that you have not been able to address the questions posed at you. Now, you could create a thread for your questions on why the use of 'we' in the quran and your other questions and e sure that your questions would be answered rather than trying to divert this thread. @ttalks Matthew 12:39-41Thanks for bringing up the verses. There must be a reason why Jesus brought up this sign out of many signs. Jesus said that as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so that the son of man shall be in the earth of the earth? Please was Jesus buried in the heart of the earth? Luke 11:30-32Please in what way is Jesus like Jonah? If someone didnt die when crucified, would you still say that person was crucified? |
Yeye Morpheus 24 ![]() |
Here Davidylan comes. Argues, run ,never has the liver for intelligent discussions using his book and my book bt prefers posting senselessly here and there. Paddy mi olodo. Keep it up jare in your state of ignorance |
@Morpheus I thought somebody has replied you? |
@Davidylan Lets get down to business. Was he a christian during his time? Did he worship in a church of jewish synagogue? |
@Davidylan What a myopic idiot. Christianity is simply = Christ-Like.I know you to be olodo when it comes to disccusing religion. You claimed that he was not a christian as christianity is a religion. So how come you are a chritian and can you tell me hoe you come about it/ When you are able to do that, I will show you that it was started by pagans with Jesus having knowledge of what christianity is all about. It was started after his demise. Olodo number one. Christianity is NOT CHRISTLIKE BUT FOLLOWERS OF JESUS. Is he a christian? |
@Morpehus24 I thought you are an adult and shouldnt have fell for this gimmick. To start with, a person that steals because of hunger would not be punished and certain things are to be considered as to why the person stole. The incident in that link is the handwork of the enemy of Islam. A grown up couldnt be subjected to cutting of hands for stealing bread let alone a kid that never knew anything. Its a blatant lie in which you of all people fell for. It may be those people advertising one thing or the other or the magicians that dupe people in the guise of doing magic. Also, in carryng out punishment for shariah, its not done as we see in the pictures therein. You should find out how shariah punishment is being carried out. Lest I forget, permit me to ask you, why did they put cloth under his hand when they wanted to cut his hand? Is crushing of hand part of shariah punishment? Oga, dont fall for gimmick, be wise and use your senses. I wish I could have a discussion with that liar. |
@Dalaman I find it very difficult to understand how and why moslems confidently believe that Jesus Christ was a moslem? Where did you guys get this big lie from? I used to think it was funny but it is not any more.Keep deceiving yourself. I learnt that he was not a christian, so how come you are a christian and you claimed to be following him? |
The nut wey hold David's mouth don loose. The next thing for him to do is to open it and yarn nonsense, throwing yabbis here and there. Common, christianity knowledge e no sabi, Olodo omo ewele |

@Recognise Done? What you on about? Of course, there are is no difference - OT GOD is the same GOD in NTThanks for admitting that its the same God? Is Jesus God? How come OT God differs from NT God? How come we have killings in the OT but quick at saying God Jesus didnt kill? |
@Davidylan how long will i suffer this nitwit?Since Jesus was not a christian, how come you are having a religion different from those before him in which he had no knowledge and remember that he said that he didnt come to annul or abolish anything but to fulfil it. How did Christianity originate since he was never one and never preached same? Let me test your Olodo brain Church is not an establishment or a building but the body of CHRIST!!! The bible talks of the church in the house of the brethren, it says were 2 or three are gathered together in HIS name there HE is in their midst. Can you share with me where Church was mentioned during his time. Did he worship in the church, proof please? His church please. Did he worship in the Church or Jewish synagogue? I am testing your brain if you know your religion. Again i present them - Ok here is an example of a few "facts" that are needed from you:Ok. 1. If Adam was a muslim where was his mosque? You may find out about Masjid Al Haram of Mecca and his contribution towards same. All the land is Muslims mosque, you can pray anywhere. For the fact that Adam may not got his own mosque doesnt mean that he is not a muslim. Quran supports his being a Muslim and you could support me where he happened to be a christian or a jew. Can you tell me where his synagogue is since you claimed he is not a muslim? 2. Where is the book of Ezekiel in the quran?Olodo ni e David. How many have we told you that Quran is not like the Bible where we have stories written down by those that couldnt be called the original authors. I provide you verses where he was mentioned. Qur'an 4:164 And messengers We have mentioned unto thee before and messengers We have not mentioned unto thee; and Allah spake directly unto Moses; Qur'an 21: 85 And (mention) Ishmael, and Idris (Enoch), and Dhul-Kifl (Ezekiel). All were of the steadfast. 86 And We brought them in unto Our mercy. Lo! they are among the righteous. 3. Why are there NO recorded muslim prayers by the jews if their prophets were closet muslims?Oga, is your bible the same revelation that was given to those mentioned? Do you have it anywhere to show me their religion? 4. Why are ALL allah's alleged "prophets" jews?Olodo ni e. Check the list and tell me if they are all Jews. 1.ADAM - ADAM 2. IDRIS - ENOCH 3. NUH -NOAH 4.HUD - EBER 5.SALEH - SHALOH 6.IBRAHIM -ABRAHAM 7.LUT - LOT 8.ISMAIL -ISHMAEL 9.ISHAQ -ISAAC 10.YAQUB -JACOB 11.YUSUF -JOSEPH 12.AYUB - JOB 13.SHOAIB -JETHRO 14.MUSHA -MOSES 15.HARUN -AARON 16.DHUL-KIFL -EZEKIEL 17.DAWOOD - DAV ID 18.SULAIMAN -SOLOMAN 19.ILYAS -ELIJAH 20.AL-YASA -ELISHA 21.YUNUS - JONAH 22.ZAKARIYA -ZACHARIAS 23.YAHYA -JOHN THE BAPTIST 24.ISA - JESUS 25. MUHAMMAD Clear answers pls that are NOT culled from the bible.Yes read again, Olodo No no no. Since you slowpoke LIED that the prophets were muslims and that the bible is corrupt, i asked that you give me the prophecies or just ANY of their writings in the quran instead. I'm still waiting.Olodo, so you are waiting for their prophecies and how many of your alleged prophecies have I debunked and explained further? I have talked on Isaiah 9 v 6, some prophecies stupidly linked to Jesus and another fresh false prophecy, Zachariah 12. Olodo. |
@TheHomer Christianity was different from other religions being practiced then. He had disciples who were supposed to go out and spread the word.Did he start christianity or was started after him? Is there any fact that the disciples were christians. What religion perse did he practised since he practised Judaism with a slight modification? Can God sent prophets with different religion, message? Do you mean why he brought a different religion? Well he did say he was the son of the God Jews were worshiping.Since Jews practiced Judaism and Jesus happened to His son as said by christians, do we say Jesus practised judaism or invent his own religion not forgetting that he said he didnt come to annul but to fulfil and we learnt he didnt bring anything different from those before him. I said he practiced Judaism in the early part of his life. He modified some of the teachings.Jesus didnt bring anything different from those before him. God sent all of them with same message but after his demise, those claiming to be christians turned everything upside down, infusing doctrines he never preached nor commanded them to. We also should know that NT supposed to be given to him during his time because that should be what he used to preach but going through today's NT, it was written after his demise which ought not to be. Do you have it anywhere that he practised judaism? |
Quran 62 v 9: “O you who believe! When the call is made for the prayer on Friday, come to the remembrance of Allah and leave off business. That is better for you if only you knew!” The best day on which the sun rises is the day of Jumu’ah; on it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise and on it he was taken out of Paradise” “The Final Hour will take place on the day of Friday” {Narrated in Muslim} “Whoever makes ghusl on the day of jumu’ah, uses the tooth stick (siwaak), applies perfume if he has it, wears of his best clothes, and then goes out until he comes to the mosque, and does not harm anyone, then prays as much as occurs to him to pray, and then remains silent when the Imam speaks until he prays the obligatory prayer, it is an reparation of whatever minor sins are between this and the next jumu’ah”(Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud&Others) “Whoever performs ghusl, goes to Jumu’ah, prays as much he is able to, remains silent until the Imam finishes his khutbah, then prays with him; he is forgiven (his minor sins) from that Friday until the next Friday in addition to three extra days and whosoever fails to do so has erred (Narrated by Muslim) On Friday it is vital that we strive to make the most of our time by supplicating to Allah, as it is mentioned in both Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (SAW), mentioned the day of Friday and said: “In it there is an (opportune) hour when Allah gives to the Muslim standing in prayer whatever he asks for.” And he pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands. (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim) The Prophet (SAW) said: “Friday is from amongst the best of days, on it Adam was created, and on it the horn will be blown and all will fall unconscious, so send abundant blessings upon me on this day for indeed your salutations are presented to me. They, the companions said: O Messenger of Allah how can this be when you have been buried and your body has decayed? And the Prophet (SAW) said: Indeed Allah, Exalted and Magnified is He, has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets”. “Whosoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday will have a light illuminated for him between the two Fridays” (Narrated by Nasa’i Bayhaqi & others) "Any person who takes a bath on Friday like the bath of Janaba (to clean ritual impurity) and then goes for the prayer (in the first hour i.e. early), it is as if he had sacrificed a camel (in Allah's cause); and whoever goes in the second hour it is as if he had sacrificed a cow; and whoever goes in the third hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a horned ram; and if one goes in the fourth hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a hen; and whoever goes in the fifth hour then it is as if he had offered an egg. When the Imam comes out (i.e. starts delivering the Khutba), the angels present themselves to listen to the Khutba" (Bukhari and Muslim) “When it is a Friday, the Angels stand at the gate of the mosque and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the mosque in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the mosque in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) the Angels fold their papers and listen to the Khutba. (Narrated in Bukhari and Muslim) It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah and Hudhayfah (may Allaah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah led those who came before us away from Friday. The Jews had Saturday, and the Christians had Sunday. Then Allaah brought us and Allaah guided us to Friday. So there is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and thus they will follow us on the Day of Resurrection. We are the last of the people of this world but we will be the first on the Day of Resurrection, and we will be dealt with before all others.” (Muslim) It was narrated from Aws ibn Aws that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The best of your days is Friday. On that day Adam (peace be upon him) was created; on that day he died; on that day the Trumpet will be blown and on that day all of creation will swoon. So send a great deal of blessings upon me, for your blessings will be shown to me.” They said, “O Messenger of Allaah, how will our blessings upon you be shown to you when you have turned to dust?” He said, “Allaah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets, peace be upon them.” (Abu Dawood; Classed as saheeh by Ibn al-Qayyim in his comments on Sunan Abi Dawood, 4/273; and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 925.) It was narrated that Abu Lubaabah ibn ‘Abd al-Mundhir said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Friday is the master of days, and the greatest of them before Allaah. It is greater before Allaah than the day of al-Adha and the day of al-Fitr. It has five characteristics: on this day Allaah created Adam, on it He sent Adam down to the earth, on it Allaah caused Adam to die, on it there is a time when a person does not ask Allaah for anything but He gives it to him, so long as he does not ask for anything haraam, and on it the Hour will begin. There is no angel who is close to Allaah, no heaven, no earth, no wind, no mountain and no sea that does not fear Friday.” (Narrated by Ibn Maajah; 1084; Classed as hasan by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 2279) Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The five daily (prescribed) Salat, and Friday (prayer) to the next Friday (prayer), and the fasting of Ramadan to the next Ramadan, is expiation of the sins committed in between them, so long as major sins are avoided.” (Muslim) It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no Muslim who dies during the day of Friday or the night of Friday but Allaah will protect him from the trial of the grave.” (At-Tirmidhi) Classed as Sahih by Al-Albaani in Ahkaam al-Janaa’iz, p. 49, 50. @Thehomer The religion that Jesus brought was based on Judaism with some modifications. Moses and Jesus were Jews. Moses gave the laws in Judaism while Jesus started with Judaism then went on with his religion. How did you arrive at Jesus bringing religion when Christian here, even Davidylan said he didnt bring any religion. Christianity was started after his demise without him having any knowledge of it.That also leave me to ask you, how come Jesus brought a different religion, doctrines from those before him? If the codified book of muslims makes important references to Jewish books then what more are you looking for?How come he practised Judaism but his teachings run contrary by that as said by Christians. You could also read OT and NT for the difference. |
@Davidylan You talked about his being powerful and when provided questions debunking that claim, you posted another thrash. Can you do the 3 days and 3 nights calculation for me? Olodo |
@Davidylan Exactly which "questions" am i to answer? First of all help me find Zechariah in your quran? Wasnt he one of allah's "prophets" too?You can see for yourself that you be number 1 Olodo. You havent answered the questions posed at you before asking another. Bloody Escapit that couldnt hold a discussion with BABS. Olodo |
@Davidylan the usual islamic wimps with their culture of deciet . . . they claim Jesus was a muslim . . . ask them for proof they tell you that Jesus was not a christian. If that is how you answer exam questions then all of u must be chronic failures because you clearly lack the ability to reason. If Jesus was not a christian, how did you arrive at CHURCH? Did he ever worship using the church or jewish temple? How did you arrive at your own doctrines different from that of Jews when he was never a christian? Who are you following since Jesus was not a christian but you are? \ and why have you dodged the "facts" i asked earlier?Where are the facts I doged? you have a problem with processing complex information . . . the hardisk of your brain is in danger of crashing. You asked if the jews practiced Jewish rites, i said its all over the bible . . . you said to "Serve you from the bible" . . . i ask that you FIRST show me from your quran that infact those "prophets" were muslims and you are here hyperventilating like a drowning dog?Olodo, you said they are in the bible and I asked you to furnish me the prophecies but you couldnt but instead asked me another questions. Olodo |
@Davidylan Olodo, you cant even hold a reasonable discussion with me. This is your post: Its everywhere in the bible slowpoke.I asked you: Serve me then as done by all the bilical prophets. But you suddenly said: Find it in your quran . . . afterall allah claims Jesus as his "prophet" no?You can see for yourself that you are a bloody coward that couldnt stand up to his statement. Wise up Olodo, if you really want to debate with me, you know me from day one, since I joined NL. |
@Davidylan what's next?I created this thread before your childish questions and I have been answering your them. You should be bold enough to answer questions here. Olodo |
@Davidylan But mohammad tamely succumbed to poison? shldnt that hint you that mohammad is just another powerless charlatan unlike Jesus Christ who even you believe ascended to heaven without seeing death? Is Jesus powerful when he said that he couldnt do anything by himself? Is he powerful when he cried, my God why has thou forsaken me? Is he powerful when he went and prayed to God to save him from death and it happened more than twice?Olodo |
@Osisi This is Homer's post: Jesus a muslim? But he lived over 600 years before Islam. Technically, he couldn't have been a Christian since the religion was based on him.But you responded thus: Thank God an independent observer sees the stupidity in the claim that Jesus was a Muslim. You failed in addressing part of his post that says: Technically, he couldn't have been a Christian since the religion was based on himSay something on that |
You would soon see more of Davidylan. |
