Travel / Re: 7 Annoying Things Nigerians Do On Airplanes by babymama3: 4:40am On Mar 30, 2013 |
The funniest ride I had was going home one Christmas and passing through Europe and the plane was filled with OMATA traders coming home for Christmas Chineke God Come and See fashion gold chains on their necks The rings on tiheir fingers Assorted jeans Some even wore cowboy boots Honestly the jet was filled with about 3/4 Igbos all speaking Igbo It felt like i was inthe midst of an umunna gathering It was kinda interesting but traders will always be traders, they were very very loud The flight attendants kept announcing that folks sit down and belt up ,whosai They were sitting on the chair arms facing backwards and talking to their paddy man 3 seats down Through out the flight all I heard around me was how they bought this in China How they bought that in Taiwan When their ship will arrive from Holland As soon as the seat belt sign is turned off they get up,walk down to a friend sitting elsewhere and stand on the aisle and start gisting loudly in Igbo One kept eyeing me and I kept adjusting my wedding ring till he saw it It was the loudest flight I had been in The only thing they didn't do on that fight was shout Igbo kwenu 6 Likes |

Please don't get me started Don't get me started on our people You are just walking jejely pulling your trendy carry on looking for your gate number at JFK or Atlanta airport and all of a sudden, you hear some loud chattering at a corner ,like you were approaching Ogbete market You don't need anyone to tell you that you have arrived at your gate. The stench that will hit you eh Lord have mercy Come and see assorted Ghana must go carry on luggage You can't even find a spot to sit Gosh I hate flying with some of these Naija Summer vacationers returning home They are so loud So bush They don't obey rules They won't even wait to hear their zones announced and they want to get on the plane As soon as the plane starts boarding, they get in line only to be turned away because their zone is yet to be announced How about their number of hand luggage? Every passenger knows you are only allowed one carry on and one handbag or backpack or computer bag The nigerians returning from vacation refuse to obey that simple instruction They come to to the airport and proceed to fill up two Ghana must go bags from more shopping and start arguing with the people at the gate boarding them, clogging up the line and delaying everyone. I felt like punching one last time Then sit beside them, they will start making mouth about their good life in Nigeria, their Dubai trips and how they come to America annually Duh! Who wants to know I can tell you got that watch from Walgreens for 9.99 please stop all the posing abeg 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: US:BOKO HARAM IS BEING USED BY BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH, CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS by babymama3: 3:24am On Mar 30, 2013 |
Ask yourself why a Boko Haram "fighting" for Northern Muslims have majority Northern Muslims as casualties? Don't give me the Taliban excuse because Talibans don't bomb the Taliban controlled areas so your analogy will fail. Have you heard of Hamas blowing up Palestinians? . This was the point where I labelled the OP confused and crossed out everything he said Boko Haram is bombing Churches and Christian gatherings and selecting people by name on a campus and you are still talking nonsense Take the rest of your write up and shove it! Go to Bayelsa with your OPC gang armed with the might of your ancestors and ask your questions there man to man. Nonsense! 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Afenifere To Boko Haram: Our Ancestors Will Finish You by babymama3: 7:55pm On Mar 29, 2013 |
Afenifere, the pan Yoruba nation group, has warned the Boko Haram sect not to strike in Lagos or any place in Yoruba land, as their ancestors will crush the sect. How many human sacrifices will it require to get the ancestral killers to spring into action? Will they get on top of the situation and make sure to leave no stones unturned while they finish the perpetrators of any dastardly act 1 Like |

Sports / Re: Yekini Was Murdered - Says His Lawyer by babymama3: 3:04pm On Mar 28, 2013 |
They should leave his mother alone SHe did what every loving mother would do to help a sick son Reports say he had mental issues She took him to get help the way she knew how and he eventually died She didn't kill her son There were various reports of his state before he died just like everyone is talking about Majek fashek Tomorrow if a Concerned family member bundles him somewhere to get treated and he dies,he will be accused of murder? They should free this grieving mother and her children please! If the herbalist killed him, charge the herbalist with murder,Yekini's mom did not take him there to be killed but to be cured or helped Unless the lawyer has evidence that she connived with the herbalist ahead of time to murder her own son,he should bring such evidence forth Or else allow the woman grieve 4 Likes |

Isn't it obvious the OP who is most likely male, copied and pasted something from another site perhaps written sometime last year hence the reference to " this December" Na wa for una and simple common sense and comprehension This is why you folks flunk WAEC and JAMB repeatedly Address the topic and not the poster |
Politics / Re: Oluwole Awolowo Is Dead? by babymama3: 2:27am On Mar 28, 2013 |
I read a man online who said his mother cursed Awolowo on her dying bed for the financial hardship their family suffered after the war Another friend told me her grandma cried periodically till her death for the child she lost during the war These things have a way of affecting a family Women Beat their breasts looked up and asked God to avenge the death of their children 3 of Awo's children have died ,2 from protracted illnesses and one in a tragic car accident and all died before reaching their father's age while their mother is alive It is not right for a 92 year old woman to bury 3 of her children. There could be some spiritual implications IMHO The two surviving daughters if they are Christians ought to go for deliverance from the sins of their father 7 Likes |
