Many educated Nigerian girls will see been humble as weakness hence wouldn't want to be seen going to the village to sit down in the firewood place and cook rice and pepper soup for his guest and family. Well, as a white woman often attracted to black men (and some hot Nigerian ones) I am beginning to understand why it's hard to get close to them. I didn't realize I was being judged by the color of my skin and not by the content of my character. Some reading this might think it's about time the tables were reversed, but I can tell you I am not receptive to being punished for the sins of others. I am sincere in my intentions and attentions. But it is not the first time I have read that a Nigerian family would not be receptive to a Nigerian man bringing home a white woman as girlfriend or wife. Hard to know what to think about that. But to try to understand why someone would judge me based on my skin color or ethnicity, That will take some serious analysis. And I don't even know where to begin. No one ever disliked me for that reason. It's hard to grasp. But I will continue to read the forums on this site, and maybe it will help me figure it all out. Meanwhile, I am not going to stop admiring beautiful Nigerian men, they just seem to be everywhere,

Before opening this thread, i had exactly what was going to happen in my mind and i can say, i havent been disappointed at all.
To many Nigerians, any good news about the country,no matter how small has got to have some errors somewhere,afterall its nigeria.
This i think is a product of a thoroughly abused mind. i still think we should give ourselves credits where deserved and not fall victim to the 'nothing good can come out of nigeria' mentality.
There definitely is room for improvement, but to deny Nigeria her bragging rights?its just unfair.
The years of misrule and decadence has so much crept into people's minds that the only news they expect to read is bad news and naturally have a reaction of disbelief and even indignation when any cheering news comes up
