The B1707 on THAT PLANE does not belong to Boeing, not is it assigned by Boeing. It's a tail number. Tail numbers are assigned by governments to specific individual planes. Only one plane on Earth can have that B1707

If there was a model of Boeing , called the B1707; we would have pictures of different ones in different countries in different airlines. Just like there are many Boeing 737s and 747s etc.

That's aside from the registration number that Aviation authorities give to a plane.
