Roads go bad EVERYWHERE in the world. I didnt know that myself until i traveled to the great America. Right now in many States in America till March, many roads will go seriously bad with potholes because of snow and the rapid change in the temperature . But by April to October you will see massive repairs. Thats the difference here.
Some of these roads will go bad again by the next year, would we say its sub standard materials? No, its the nature of roads.

Social welfare generally is why Awo was forever denied presidency of Nigeria. That was one of the pillars of AG and later UPN to create government programs so people can go to govt for needs, as part of their rights for freedom, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

Government is able to institute social welfare programs but they will not. Our politicians prefer we are dependent on them to eat.


In fact, building a Secretariat creates job needs for construction and staffing....another way of redistributing income and growing local economy.

I initially thought you were opposed to social welfare programs and wanted to remind you that the USA and all Western countries that are prosperous and called 1st World rely on such programs to move their countries forward. Thats one reason why there cant be a revolution in America or any country that takes care of its poor, weak and less fortunate.
