Still, its lives lost.

The killings in Nigeria are mostly communal.

Ebonyi, Cross River, Benue, Nassarawa, Plateau.

Much as it isnt excusable for deaths in Nigeria, neither is it for those gang related deaths in the States.
Cultists killing in Rivers and Badoo in Lagos is not communal.

What's the name of that one in Imo?

The thing is, when they are caught you would be the first to loopcall them innocent people or go into a tribal rant.
Evans? Almost 2 years after, no conviction.

You can't fear God and be tribalistic. Tribalism is demonic.

Who cares about the killers? Capturing a killer doesn't compensate for a life lost. Once you are dead, you are dead.

I don't usually respond to mentions by people who are too lazy to follow the news, or people who are still analogue in a digital world.
However, for the sake of my good mood let me educate you a little.
As at March 19, 2019, the number of mass shootings in the USA stood at 61. Hey! That's for 2019 only.
In 2018, there were 340 mass shootings in the US, a slight reduction in the 346 recorded in 2017.
That's an average of over 28 shooting per month in 2018... I'm sure you know that's a massacre of people almost every other day!
You can visit the gun violence archive for more information.
And have these killers been jailed or killed or are they still roaming the streets.

Then give me the name OF ANY MASS KILLER or KIDNAPPER in Nigeria who has EVER been convicted or executed.

And the regular mass shootings where something like 1 to 30 people are killed at a go?
It could be in a mall, a school, work place, a disco, a concert, you don't know where the next one will strike. And you feel safe?
Ignorance is bliss.
And in EVERY SINGLE CASE, the killers have been killed or are in jail.

Name one case from ANY STATE where masses have been killed ,that killers have been convicted and jailed. From Zamfara to Rivers to Benue.

Name ONE KIDNAPPER who has EVER been prosecuted and jailed in Nigeria.

Won't disprove it, but that is not the comparison.

Look up the violent death stats from both cities.

Gang members killing themselves. 95% of killings in Chicago and Milwaukee is gang members killing themselves. The rest are usually stray bullets killing innocent people and IN EVERY INCIDENT where an innocent person is killed, the killer is caught within days.
When gang members kill themselves, no one, even the victims family is willing to cooperate with the police, they prefer to take out vengeance.
The problem in Nigeria is too much random killings and no prosecution.

You think it’s Nigeria where you just employ any semi illiterate to the police force with no background ??

You keep mentioning policeman, what if I told it’s nearly impossible for him to get away with an unlawful killing.

Is it the identifying or finding him, someone that’s already on the government database.

Nigeria is not safe and there is no justice

Not typical Nigerian u love living in denial.
Dont mind them. Let him Google and see how much wahala is caused when police kill civilians (most even involved in one crime or the other).

There is always a trial, most times the policeman is acquitted , but in several cases they are jailed. The cop that killed the black man who was running away because he had a warrant for his arrest is in jail for life now.
Even in cases where the policeman is acquitted which happens a lot; the City ALWAYS pays the victims family. Like Castel in Minneapolis, the police man was acquitted, the city paid his family $3 million.

They should focus on their own security. Ppl get gunned down every single day gang, drug or randomly. Mass shootings last year alone were close to 30
Crimes are investigated in America, culprits charged and jailed or executed. ALL the criminals involved in mass shootings were either shot and killed or are in jail for life. All were arrested within 24 hours.
Robbers who robbed our house in Ikeja in 1996 have not been identified or arrested till this day.
Those who killed dozens in Zamfara last week have not been identified nor arrested. The suspected cultists who killed some people in Port Harcourt earlier this month are still walking free.
The kidnappers who killed the Lagos Fire Director last Saturday have not been identified.

The killer of Dele Giwa is still unknown
The killers of Alfred Rewane 23 years ago have NEVER been identified.

You can add to the list.

It is sad that the FGN is ignoring the root cause of this upsurge in Kidnapping and insecurity. The real cause is the fact that there is desperate poverty in the land and people are seeing the insincerity of the government in fighting corruption.

Even decent and honest people are being frustrated by the system. If the government fails to act fast in making the system work for hardworking and honest people to thrive.....I can see chaos and anarchy looming. It doesn't matter whether you are from the north or south, hunger is no respecter of any party or tribe......Elections are over, and Nigerians eyes are now opened. Most of the protests these days are coming from the north!
Bros forgot all those lies of poverty in the land.
So its poverty that makes a kidnapper demand for N10 million each from the families of multiple victims.
Thats not poverty, thats greed and evil.

Poverty can make some lazy people steal bread or N1000 to buy food; not to rob or kidnap so they can be rich.

For anyone who has 2 hands, 2 legs and who runs from the road when they see a speeding car coming their way, poverty is a choice.

Work smart, work hard, make hay when the sun shines, be disciplined, save even when its inconvenient, pray and you wont be poor.

The government should NEVER owe anyone salary. That is not only a bad example, it is criminal.
Owing workers salary is enough reason for a business to be shut down in many better organized countries.

And look at the last thing he said " Im sure this week it will be resolved" When a Nigerian official or a big man says that
; it is most likely "tales by moonlight ".

What are they resolving? How to share the interest they made or waiting for the money to mature from the 10 day deposit?

What makes you think you have HIV because of that. There are hundreds of ailments that have similar symptoms you have just described including food poisoning (eating bad food, not that someone intentionally poisoned you).

Go and do a test right now, it takes less than 30 minutes instead of "worrying" yourself to death.

More people suffer from the worry than the sickness itself.

And trust me there are dozens, if not hundreds of sicknesses worse than HIV. Sicknesses that will kill you within 2 weeks. People diagnosed with HIV in the 1980s are still alive.

Instead of condemning the execution, I expected Dabiri and every other Nigerian to condemn the act of doing drugs. They have their laws and some people have decided to break them, so let them bear the consequences. You don't expect them to bend their laws to favour us.

God will give her family fortitude to bear the loss. But cancer patients should stop taking chemotherapy. The day you start taking chemo, that is the day you signed your death warrant.
That is not true, not true at all. Chemo has saved and elongated the lives of millions of people. If you have better options than chemo, please share with the world.
