I know a lot of them from the north and west..the truth is, nothing gives them more pride than scoring an Igbo woman for a wife. They believe her igbo genes will rub off on their children. Despite their toxicity and animosity towards igbos they desire the Igbo blood for their children. They see it as an elixir to having sense and being productive.

He's talking like that because he knows they can easily buy the poor with chicken feed, hence there'll be no such day when the very poor will hit the streets in protest- the very poor are too meek, hungry, scarred and scared.

The elites will need to mobilize them and boost their confidence, otherwise the crumbs the polithiefcians are giving them is enough to keep them off the protests or at best they'll remain 'hoodlums' as far as protests in Nigeria is concerned

They've been bought, the cost of fuel don't bother them no more. The best thing is to just accept it and move on. This to me, and any right thinking person, means democracy as a system of government is people's government. It is a government that is constituted by the people; in other words, it is the people who hires those who will serve through electioneering process.
