Where will the poor students get 15k in this economic situation when some of their parents/guardians have not been paid I think an average Nigerian is just very insensitive or is there something that takes away their human feelings once they attain a position of authority? Pandemic Prevention fee indeed |

I love this.
Most people don't understand once you destroy things during protest, you are indirectly taking away your right.
Some people will say it ìs their constitutional right to protest, yes it is but also know that destruction, blocking of roads and airports, burning down buildings, and occupying Government buildings is no more a protest again but a coup. The polithiefcians who paid thugs to disrupt a peaceful protest are the coup plotters, not the protesters. When you find it cool that your right to protest is being taken away, what can I say? |

The fashion designer said, “The DPO, after slapping me, still collected all the 12 materials without paying the N60,000 agreed on.
“On Saturday, November 1, the DPO told me to come for the money only for him to detain me.”
The DPO accused the defendant of damaging materials worth N181,000 |

Only stupid people give to God against their will! God loves a cheerful giver; if you feel uncomfortable or you're not convinced you're doing the right thing, don't give. I've gone to church several times without dropping any offering; not because I didn't have money, but because my faith wasn't strong enough to encourage my giving that particular money as offering at that time. ivolt: Slapping constitute brutality but the detention is not illegal. Not paying and asking for payment is not brutality either. Police brutality in this context doesn't stop at savage physical violence, it also implies great cruelty. When you torture someone emotionally, you're being cruel to the person. Boss man here collected what he called 'badly sown' materials and still detained the poor tailor when he honored his invitation to come for his money |
Fashion › Re: DPO Slaps Oyo Tailor, Charges Him To Court Over Poor Job by backnbeta(f): 9:04am On Nov 04, 2020 |
ivolt: Charging someone to court is now police brutality? Not at all, in fact, the court should be the last resort for the poor masses. However, slapping, illegal detention, forcing the man to sign a statement and not paying him despite collecting the 'badly sown' materials while still asking the man to pay N181,000 for the said materials all amount to police brutality |
