EMMY76:I do believe. I have experienced such before, I saw something similar to that way back in 1998.that time I never even knew wat a UFO means,I was a little boy then.the noise emanating from the saucer shape spacecraft was so loud I felt it was going to crash and I hide myself. Ruefully I was alone and when I went to tell others no one seemed to have seen or heard such a thing. But the memory of that day never left me. |

General Buhari should please tell Nigerians what is so special to him about Niger Republic, that in this time of dwindling resources, when our foreign debt has risen from $7 billion in 2015, to $31 billion in 2020 (because of him), that he must award a $1.9 billion contract to build a railway from Katsina to Niger Republic. What is the economic necessity and urgency? Nigerians remember how, as military head of state, General Buhari in 1985, voted against Peter Onu, an Igbo man, who was Nigeria’s candidate for the post of Secretary General of the Organisation of African Unity, in favour of Ide Oumarou, a Fulani from Niger Republic. Is Buhari from Niger Republic as has been rumoured? |

- Benue government has disclosed the next line of action after the death of the state's notorious criminal, Gana - Governor Samuel Ortom said his government would not be distracted from the ongoing amnesty programme despite the controversy trailing Gana's death - Ortom further state that his government would meet with stakeholders to prevent the breakdown of laws and orders Samuel Ortom, governor of Benue, has stated that his goverment will proceed with the amnesty programme for the repentant criminals in the state despite the recent setback occasioned by the death of Terwase Akwaza known as Gana. Ortom made this disclosure on Thursday, September 10, while addressing journalists at the government house in Makurdi after the state security council meeting. The governor said he would not be distracted by the killing, adding that there would be Benue state security council meeting with stakeholders from Sankera on Friday, September 11 He further explained that at the meeting, the discussion would be lengthened down to how the amnesty programme will continue without breaking down of laws and orders amid controversy trailing Gana's death The notorious criminal met his waterloo and was subsequently annihilated three years after Governor Ortom-led government placed a N10 million bounty on information that could lead to his arrest. Brigadier-General Maude Ali Gadzama, commander of the Four Special Forces Command of the Nigerian Army in Doma local government area of Nasarawa state, confirmed Gana's killing. Speaking on Channels TV, Governor Ortom further explained that the wanted criminal was killed during a crossfire with the Nigerian Army. Gana had surrendered himself to the state government on Tuesday, with the decision coming at the Katsina-Ala township stadium in the Benue North senatorial zone during an amnesty event. He was said to have submitted some arms and ammunition to Benue amnesty programme established by Governor Ortom. However, Ortom said soldiers snatched Gana from a government convoy escorting repentant militants in Gboko.
