Whether he is still licensed or not or retired is very "irrelevant" as long as the case was finished i.e, the job was done before he retired or was disbarred.

hole need not be found. This man is a known crook, and if the contract (as I assume) was drawn with deceit as its intention, the fine prints don't matter. No way in hell is this crook that calls himself a Lawyer is getting that much as a fee. In fact, I think whoever Nigeria hires to defend their position in court should not stop at just battering him, they should also report him to the disciplinary board.

This is what proves you are not a lawyer like you claimed or an embarrassment to this esteemed profession if you really have a law degree and most definitely not licensed to practise in any U.S state.

First, how could you prove that the contract was drawn with "deceit" as its intention

Second, Yes fine prints matters actually that's one of the most important part any contract. ( you should have known this if you went to law school..First semester 1L)

Third, Why would you call the lawyer a crook You might have a slander case hanging around your neck.

Fourth, how would Nigeria's attorney batter him in court? On what grounds??

Finally, it's very unprofessional to call a legal fellow "selfish" . he negotiated the contract as it is the norm in the legal profession.. Both the client and the Attorney" agreed" of service fee, why are you saying Mr. Nnaka is selfish?? ( defamation lawsuit hanging on yout waist this time). Also recall, Nigerian government were not forced into the contract, the contract was not signed under duress.

Now the legal part is over... Lets do some street talking.

I don't applaud Nigerian government for getting in such a contract with this guy. This case could be easily won by Attorneys at the Nigerian consulate because no one is "really" fighting for the money except Nigerian government.. What the banks might be doing is to frustrate the effort so they could use the money for turnover and reap some profits.

We all got to know about this incident because Malami wanted 70% of the lawyers 40%.
