Politics › Re: 2023 Presidency: No Agreement To Surrender Ticket To South After Buhari - Yerima by badoh(m): 10:36pm On Dec 16, 2020
Even Buhari himself knows he will look like an ingrate(only if he has conscience) if he tries to deny southwest APC presidential ticket. This is a man with no hope of becoming President after 3 failed attempt. Recall he wept and was threatening that he will make Nigeria ungovernable.
If Tinubu ACN had not join forces with his CPC and pull resources together, do you think buhari would have become president today.
The greatest mistake Jonathan made was to sideline and underate southwest during his administration. When election was drawing closer, I expected him to have joined forces and align with Tinubu by making some political sacrifices and conceding some offers to him but he was too big to reach out to aTinubu. He was busy sharing dollars to traditional rulers in southwest thinking the Obas can influence peoples choice. Southwest are too sophisticated to be coarsed to do ones bidding, what he will do is only known to himself.

It's quite unfortunate this Buhari is not ashamed of himself. A 21st century leader that cannot engage people in 5mins meaningful conversation. The fact is you can't give what you don't have. He has nothing to offer this country. The best thing is either to restructure this country or each region to go their separate ways. A great mistake was made voting this man into power.

Why do people play with their lives so cheaply and underrate the power of water? What happens to the use of life jacket by these officials. This is so unfortunate.
Politics › Re: PDP Reps Demand Impeachment Of Buhari by badoh(m): 5:23pm On Dec 06, 2020
If only the two heads of both chambers are effective in their duties, Buhari should have been served impeachment notice a long time ago. Gbaja is even trying small small, but that Lawan is a monumental disgrace to the office he's holding. No clear separation of power between the Executive and Legislature. Everything na to rubber stamp without debating extensively on the consequences of a bill.
I miss the period when Anyim and Ghali Na Abba were both Senate president and Speaker, they nearly impeach Obasanjo that time. Obasanjo's offence was not even up to half of what buhari has committed in this administration.

Why not ask Tinubu to comment?

]I don't know why you people can't talk without mentioning Tinubu? Is it only Tinubu ACN that merged with CPC to form APC? What about ANPP? Where do you put the likes of Ngige, Ogbonna Onu and other Igbo leaders that joined the merger? You people will never mention their names cos they are from your tribe. It is only tinubu you people will be cursing.
Tinubu is a politician and from Opposition side(AD) since 1999. His aim is to ensure his party becomes the ruling party which successfully came into fruition in 2015. Do you expect him to be praising Jonathan PDP govt cos I don't know the reason why you people hate him the most.

If I have the power, I for slap this gbajabiamila. What the duck is he uttering. Imagine him referring to buhari as a democrat. You intentionally did not fix a date for him to appear knowing with time, people will forget about it and move on. The leadership of the two chambers are the greatest evil in this administration. In a sane clime, this incompetent president should have been impeached a long time ago for gross abuse of office, degenerating security, nepotism, high level of corruption and constitutional infractions. Why go to meet him as if you are begging him to honor ur invitation.
Politics › Re: Reps Summon Buhari Over Slain Borno Farmers by badoh(m): 5:00pm On Dec 01, 2020
I'm from south west but I don't know why Gbajabiamila keeps fooling himself. If Lawmakers in Bornu insist that Buhari should be summoned, why would Gbaja be interested in shutting them down. Buhari that should be on hot seat by now. In fact, he is highly incompetent and incapable to lead this country. He has failed the nation in all ramifications. He should have been impeached a long time ago.

Politics › 2023- Political Gimmick, Powerplay & Reality by badoh(op): 12:28am On Nov 23, 2020
This thread is created to express my opinion, suspicion and possibility to the build up of 2023 presidential election. Regions that may feel insulted or embarrassed by my expression should forgive me.
There has been several permutations regarding the region the two major political parties may likely zone their ticket to. Some people in their own thinking believe in the spirit of fairness, it should be the turn of the southeast. However, democracy is a game of number and people should not be sentimental about the concept of forceful zoning of presidential ticket to a subset of a specific zone(i.e southeast out of the entire south)
Very recently, the Governor of Ebonyi decamped to APC and people have been coming up with the idea that he is an achiever with unblemish record and should be paired with a somebody like Zulum of Bornu State. With the recent happenings, some people have concluded that APC will most likely zone its ticket to southeast. Possibility of that happening is what I cannot say as there are several power block, interest and division in the party. But the question remain can a southeast presidential flagbearer in APC command enough votes in the North and not lose to a formidable Northern politician in another party?
For PDP, I am 95% certain that this party will never cede their ticket to the south east. Bare it in mind that PDP as a party is definitely hungry for power and the only way they can get this is by presenting a Northerner who is as popular as Buhari as its flagbearer. The only person who can muster enough votes from the North and also get substantial number of votes from south is Atiku Abubakar. If PDP fields Atiku and APC fields any candidate from the south east, there's every possibility Atiku will defeat APC candidate. If this eventually happen, Buhari and Co will tell southeast that they have done justice by presenting a southeasterner as the party flagbearer and people voted for their choice, hence the agitation for Southeasterner for president has failed.
Options available without sentiment and tribal consideration within APC.

Osinbajo/Zulum- There's every possibility the present V.P may not have interest in running for the most exhalted position in Nigeria. Even if he does, his faith(christian) may sell him out and the north may not be comfortable with him.

Amaechi/El-rufai- A good combination but El- Rufai bigotry character and poor handling of security situation especially in southern kaduna will sell him out.

Tinubu/Dogara- If there's one politician that could match Atiku for his money and pose a threat to Atiku in terms of votes in the North, it is Tinubu. He has allies in the North(e.g Kano Governor) that can mobilise necessary resources for his election. He is a Muslim and northerners may feel relaxed voting for him. Although religion should not be a basis for voting but Nigeria factor and our way of thinking is responsible for this. Bullion van allegation on the eve of election continue to ring in people's memory, however, he remains a formidable threat.

Orji Kalu/ Zulum- Kalu is also been touted as a possible flagbearer of APC but corruption allegations of billions of Naira during his administration as governor of Abia State is a serious limiting factor. He's also regarded as an ex-convict although court has dismissed the previous charges while a fresh charges is underway.

Who do you think APC should present that can guarantee their success at the poll? This candidate should be capable to unite this country, be decisive, ready to bring the needed change, not bias, devoid of favoritism and possible have the ball to restructure this country.

He was busy building Almajiri schools in the north thinking they would return the Favour during Election but they abandoned him for their own. He misused the greatest opportunity to return for second term. Politics is about Alignment. I expect him to have aligned with Tinubu to get substantial votes in southwest, consolidate with the vote in southeast, south-south and middle belt with some votes in the north. He was also sharing fund to traditional rulers in southwest thinking they can control their people not knowing southwest are too sophisticated to be used. The north he was busy building used Bokoharam to oust him from office because they don't send him.
