Please do not dream of avensis. You will surely regret it. Camry tiny light 1999 /2000 model ok for. Considering all the factors you

mentioned, fuel economy, ruggedness, availability of spare parts and affordable, the engine can withstand our extreme weather.

Please i beg you go for Camry, you will get value for your hard earned money. The car is common is a defeatist idea. Go for the best.

Do not forget that ability to maintain a vehicle is the key factor. Good luck

Politics / Re: Buhari Must Be Screened If He'll Be The Petroleum Minister - Senators by Bakersfield: 10:32am On Oct 06, 2015
2n2k:
I will rather believe this is from our dumb journalists not from our 'distinguished' senators.

First of all, the constitution already confer on the president, the position of chief executive. All ministers hold positions at his pleasure.

Second, the list he sends to the senate contains no portfolio. He has the discretion to assign or re-assign the minister any time. The senate will only confirm the nominees as minister. They won't know where they will be assigned.

The constitution does not recognize any minister by position except the minister of justice. So the president can name 35 of them Minister without Portfolio (like in the first republic when some ministers were without portfolio) or the current nomenclature -Minister for Special Duties. Once he names the minister of justice, he is covered by law.

Thirdly, Only the president is held accountable for executive functions by constitution. Ministers exercise only delegated presidential powers. He is the Chief Minister already and cannot be screened for a job which is already a part of his job content.

Very sound and intelligent submission. Spot on and unbiased analysis. I found many on this forum to be myopic and baised on their

submission due to tribal sentiments. My guy thanks, you made my day.

✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌

LET US ALL LEARN FROM WHAT IS GOING ON:
It is we Nigerians that l pity because all efforts of these Govt to fight corruption, might end-up being thwarted by the like sof Saraki and his gang of money-grabbing Lawyer who dont give a hoot about "morality or justice" for the common man.

1) Saraki made false declaration of asset such that he made "future provision" to accommodate whatever LOOT he makes as Senate President or in political office. This trick is to deceive Nigerians and the courts as he will claim he had all those things before becoming Senate President.
A thief is always a Thief!

2.) CCB caught him pants down and added other criminal charges he has raked-up since he was kwara Governor

3.) He was invited for question but decide to be forming "big man" and refused to appear

4.) Warrant was issued for his arrest on friday. ordinarily the Police should be knocking on his door on that friday but it appears I.G Arase is developing "cold feet" out ff fear or caution! Police decided to be paying games by saying initially, tha the have not been served... and then later that the cant locate his address! grin grin

5.) Meanwhile, Saraki quickly gathered S.A.N Lawyers who assured him not to worry. He was reminded that he was the Senate President and therefore untouchable. They started their "legal gymnastics" which they usually do, to frustrate Justice and allow criminals to work free.
THIS IS WHY I SUPPORT BUHARI SETTING UP SPECIAL CORRUPTION COURT THAT WILL DO AWAY WITH ALL THOSE LEGAL LOOPHOLES

6.) They filled an appeal at the high court to stop the investigation entirely! Saraki does not want to be asked any question at all.
Meanwhile, some Nigerians were shouting "witch-hunting and political assassination" when infact, they should be asking Saraki whether it was true that he was trying to play 419 on the CCB and the law of the land..... or not?
This is what intelligent people should be doing not just ranting online or forming some stewpid posture.

7.) Saraki meanwhile, tried to frustrate the effort of the CCB by challenging it. The mistake he made then (on friday) was that he was wrongly advised by his Lawyers that he can challenge the CCB in a High Court. The CCB and a High Court have "concurrent powers" and one cannot challenge the other thus, CCB can still go on an arrest him (Saraki).

8.) When he realised his error, he quickly went to the Appeal Court (a superior court to the CCB or the High Court) to once again try to stop the investigation of the CCB.

9.) Court of Appeal told him they "wont" stop the case entirely but will look into his complaint at a later date (30th Sep).

The implication of these is that the CCB might not be able to jail Saraki for "contempt of Court" (disobeying court order) .... thus Saraki "may" have cheated death, once again! angry angry

The role of IGP Arase in the matter (between fFriday and Monday, he could not execute a warrant of arrest!) is an indication that all these corrupt people, will always protect themselves, at the end of the day.

Ordinary Nigerians that are being looted dry, is th elooser.
[color=#000099:

Funnily, it is these same "ordinary Nigerians" that want to kill themselves online, for the same Saraki that is looting them dry!
Such is the foolishness of the average Nigerian
grin grin

Fingers crossed!

Lolzzzz.....I don't really know the technicalities involved....but I think it has do do with improper payment system configuration.

If you pay before your due date....the payment will probably be in a holding account and it will now be moved into your main Smartcard acount on your due date....that linkage must be responsible for the "shortfall" the smartcard account is experiencing.

My opinion though......it may not be correct.

You are 105% correct. I was disconnected last Sunday, but I paid my subscription on the 25th of March 2015 to beat the new rate deadline. Alas I got disconnected for prompt payments. Nigeria we hail thee.

You guys like straws too much. Focus on reality and personal precedents of the contestants. One, Buhari gave critical roles to his deputy when he was head of state and that made most of you claim the deputy was the one who ran the government. Two, OBJ just of late gave critical roles to Atiku and he did his job diligently. If your master made his own deputy redundant you don't have to rub it in into another pair that have a clear cut vision of how leadership and shared responsibility should be. The constitution does not say it is illegal for the VP to perform some roles. It says their roles are defined by what the president wants ohim to do. Buhari was asked this question and he said people should look into his antecedents to find the answer. That you just read a very brilliant and promising responses from the VP candidate of a party you loathe should not put you in a panic mode of bringing in irrelevant issues. There's nothing wrong if you accept you are impressed as many people are with the above but will choose to turn logic on it's head. At the end of the day Nigerians are getting wiser by the day and they can see clearly now. Thank you.

Intelligent submission. A good leader must be able to delegates critical role for his or her deputy for good results.

The President is the head of government and the commander in chief of the armed forces. He takes vital and critical decisions concerning

defense and foreign affairs, while the Vice president will be saddled with day to day running of the administration.

Nigerians should please research why other successful World leaders succeed in their clime.

The attributes of a good leader is :

1. CAPACITY

2. CHARACTER

3. COMPETENCE.

Any leader without this attributes is a total failure.

She was shouting at me, calling me name and swearing ; yes, it was obvious that she was pissed off and likewise me. When things were stating to escalate, I angrily ask her the leave my house , because she was stating to create a scene in my neighborhood . That was when she said something that baffled me and got me thinking. She said a lot of bad things to me , I never took any of them to heart because I knew she was angry , but not until she said this exact words " YOU HAVE TO PAY ME FOR ALL THE SEX YOU HAD WITH ME BEFORE I WILL LEAVE".
This got me thinking, have I been dating a prostitute? Why will she quantum sex with money?
Now, she is apologizing and asking me for forgiveness . A part of me wants to continue with the affair because I still love her and we have gone a long way, moreover, I have already introduce her to my family. But , another part of me don't want to continue because I feel like I don't know her and that she might have a dark secrets which might explode after marriage.

Believe me I lost hope in Goodluck Ebele Jonathan when he became president.
In One of my classes in Taiwan one of my students asked me whom our president was , I told her GEJ , what she said that day took me off guard , she knew about Africa and she is advanced in age. This what she said:

Oh! That man is your president ? He looks dull, weak and Timid. I think your Country would be in trouble .

After class I pondered what she said and just as she spoken it's happening.

I don't hate our president but believe me any Nigerian who really needs a change in our Country would see that he should not be there .Any sane Nigerian should retain his or her sanity by voting sanely on that day.

@Kinethic What your student told you in Taiwan about our leader is visible to the blind and a statement of FACT. Thank God she is a Taiwanese and not a member of the opposition party in Nigeria. Between ethnicity and Religion people throw away common sense in Nigeria. Our power generation capacity is less than 4000 megawatts in Nigeria and this cannot even power Johannesburg in South Africa.
