You would have saved yourself of sounding ignoramus if you can simply watch the press briefing by the CP on YouTube. Lazy youths everywhere. The CP did mention the three Injections the " auxiliary Nurse" gave the dead. These are PCM ( Paracetamol), Tetranus Injection and a very powerful antibiotics that normally could have been used for a very serious infection such a sepsis. The worst part was, the CP said these Injections were given via intravenous. I guess you can enlighten yourself further. greggng: |

Y are you dignifying all these babies who lack basic history of politics in Nigeria? Hence, they speak and argue mostly out of ignorance. Even Adams Oshiomole was in Labour Party prior to 2007 election. LP formed an alliance with AC then, for Oshiomole to contest under AC Governorship ticket in Edo State. quote author=Babathanks post=125335243] Na wa for u ooo. The same way some of you guys who lack historic experience are supporting the coup in Niger was the same way some were happy that Lauren Gbagbo then was captured by the Ivorian Army from his bunker and power was handed over to Alexander Qoutara.... Today, the same man has spent over 10 years in power....same with the late Robert Mugabe who took over Zimbabwe via a coup detat in 1980. Coup detat is evil. Citizens shoukd be allowed to change their leaders. SpatialKing: |
Is he also an ill-luck to the Basketball team that won the finals in the other tournament? Your mates like Bosun Tijani are getting nominated for Ministerial positions because of their level of intelligence while you are shamelessly spaming nairaland with a senseless comment. Please, get a life. Elections are over. alhajiabdulbuha: |

Some of you are babies in politics and perpetual wailers? How is this an act of lawlessness? Is this the first time an elected lawmaker is appointed a Federal Minister in Nigeria? The immediate past Minister of Education for State named Nwajuba was in the house of reps before PMB appointed him a minister. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was elected governor of Adamawa in 1999 before OBJ picked him as VP. What the law says is for him to resign which he has allegedly done now. Racoon: |

Don't be deceived. If your current income is sustainable, you better hold your peace. First, to see husband or a wife overseas is an uphill task. Second, you will feed 3 times a day quite right but 70% of your income will service your bills overseas couple with the fact that you wil have to do menial jobs. Forget all the fake appearances you see online. Soke of those overseas are regretting it. NOTE- if it is convenient for you to travel, do but do.not be pressured to Start selling your properties, borrowing money up and down just because you want to JAPA. You may regret such actions later. The decision is yours. |
Sometimes , I feel this platform is made up of majorly secondary school children. There is a high level of lack of understanding being displayed here on public issues. First, VAT is in an Indirect Tax under the purview of the FG. It is remitted to the purse of the federation account via the FIRS. Hence, your statement as to the fact that the FG does not have the business of collecting VAT from the informal sector is out of sheer ignorance. Second, Govt is not taxing the market people and other informal sector, rather the VAT is payable by the consumers and not the market men/women. When you buy a tuber of Yam from Shoprite, the amount u pay is inclusive of VAT. SHOPRITE only has the duty of remitting that 7.5% VAT u paid to FG. Same thing is being projected here for the informal sector. Third, the informal sector is part of the TAX NET of any government all over the world. In the case of Nigeria, some of them if not the majority of the Informal sector are outside the TAX NET because of lack of data. Government is now trying to bridge that GAP and some of you guys are just displaying ignorance on the issue. To correct the wrong Information u guys are spinning, the market men and women are not the ones to pay the VAT. It is the consumers who patronise them that will pay it just the way you pay it happily at the shopping malls. The market men and women are to remit such to govt. Everything should not be viewed from parochia angle. Peace . Ibrahimmrfish: |

All these watery line of cases by the petitioners. Both PDP and LP... The major source documents for BVAS and IREV is the form EC8. As much as the form EC8 is available with the signed results from each polling unit by relevant parties, all these IREV and BVAS issues are just complete waste of time. Does not uploading results on IREV changed the results signed on Form EC8 by the party agents?... Too much Ado about nothing |
Will the quest for the rush to make all the money in this world by JAPA Naija parents allow them to look after their kids? Meanwhile, this particular sex education is optional. You are allowed to except your kid from taking part in the subject. |

In a simple language, what that means is that government has Unified the Fx rate as opposed to the fraudulent multiple exchange rates we had before where CBN official rate was around N550 at a time and the black market rate was around N750. Unfortunately, the CBN rate was highly not assesible to the ordinary man thereby forcing everyone to patronise the Black market rates that the market forces has no control over. That encouraged racketeering among the BDC operators and some officials. Now, the forces of DD and SS will determine the movement of the Naira to USD. For a start, the CBN has pegged 1USD to N750. Now, the power has been taken away from the few BDC operators who were arbitrarily determining the rates. bluefilm: |
Please, where did you study your own Accounting? I will assume you are just a secondary school student who has just been Introduced to Financial Accounting as a subject. A student loan given to acquire a life long Asset ( Academic Certificate) which will provide for you future economic benefits you referred to as a burden? Your understanding of the concept of " liability" is highly pedestrian and showed you lacked basic understanding of financing. Please , go and pick up your Etuk Udoh or Omuya elementary Accounting text books again and learn. Hamachi: |
Which of the UK that increased minimum wage? Junior Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, and Railway workers in the UK all have been going on strike since last year because of wage issue and government has not been responding to their demands. Some Nigerians like to lament unnecessarily. During the winter, electricity bill went as high as over 200% increase from what it used to be. It is now left for you to manage the usage of the energy based on your financial ability. Regular electricity doesn't come cheap anywhere. [q1uote author=tegrianonigltd post=123733008] The government need to cut the cloth to size. Let the poor breathe. Increase minimum wage. Uk increase last year, did this year, in midst of inflation and all, just to improve life a bit. You can’t do all these and pay 30k for minimum wage. Make them sleep for gutter?
|
This governor may not achieve anything in office. Starting on a wrong note. All the probe Buhari carried on Jonathan security fund disbursements, what was the outcome? The probe Wike carried out on Amaechi, what was the result? Instead wasting time and efforts on probing, focus on improving whatever that is wrong |
Some of you guys lack appropriate education on constitional issues. Was the case of David Lyon of Balyesa not a pre-election matter? Was the case of Zamfara APC governor in 2019 not a pre election matter- infact, that case too was on nomination and cancellation of the primary of APC that produced the governor? The fact is, once Appealed, the case will be decided by the Supreme Court finally. Main while, y are u guys clamouring for LP to be sworn in Abia even after the court judgement? Whereas, you guys are lamenting that APC should not be sworn in at the centre until Tribunal finishes the petitions. Is this not a total act of hypocrisy on you guys part.? Ofunaofu: |

Did INEC refuse to Back PDP tribunal case in Osun State? This man stinks of hypocrisy. |
With all due respect, equip yourself with knowledge on revenue sharing formular between the FG and the Federating States. The issue of population as one of the criteria for revenue sharing has since been laid to rest. You may want to go through the Federal Allocations to Lagos State as the second most populous state in Nigeria ( According to 2006 census figure) compared to that of Rivers State and see for yourself if population has any daring effect on the amount given. When, Lagos under Tinubu created additional 20 Local governments , it was not officially recognised by the FG. Unfortunately, the more your local governments, the more allocation you get monthly from FG with regard to Local Govt allocation. See Kano with 44 lgas. It is this misinformation of Census as a criterion for revenue sharing that always lead to hyping of census figures in Nigeria. We need to stop such misleading information. Greatphase: |
Nothing happened to PDP lagos. A branch of PDP, the LP took away the natural votes of PDP in this election. The supporters of the LP candidate in this election are naturally that of PDP. Check the results of Jimi Agbaje PDP vs Sanwoolu, Jimi Agbaje PDP vs Ambode, Dosunmu PDP vs Fashola etc...the trends are almost the same. Moreover, the LP guy was also a PDP person. They need to go back to the drawing board and put thier house in order. Jestin: |

I have done that. No feedback at all. This is pathetic. [quqote author=Gboliwe post=121643893] Have you logged a dispense error complain? Do that and wait 48hrs (working)
|
I did a transfer of N7700 on the 8th March ,2023, via GTB online banking. Till now, the beneficiary has not gotten the inflow into his account neither was it reversed. I have messaged GTB customer care severally but no reasonable feedback given till now. I also did another N89,447.66 via GTB online banking on the 7th March, 2023, the beneficiary only just received the money on the 11th March 2023. Despite the fact that it was GTB to GTB. The banking system in Nigeria appears to have totally collapsed. We are not even 10% ready for cashless economy. |
Dear All, A call for help. On the 7th March, 2023, i transferred N89,447.66 via GTB internet banking to a GTB bank account. I was debited immediately by GTB with DEBIT ALERT received. However, the beneficiary has not confirmed receipt of the transfer as i write. I have tried severally in contacting GTB customer care but it has become very frustrating as the beneficiary is dragging me unnecessarily. I did also transfer N7,700.00 to a Kuda Bank account on the 8th March, 2023. As i write, the beneficiary also is yet to receive the amount into his account. I need your kind help to enable GTB releases these transfers to the beneficiary or reverses these amounts into my account. This is really frustrating. This is how some of your type will easily fail simple exam questions. The rush to write sth without further reading to understand is a bane of today's woke generation. China Harbour- 52.5% Tolaram- 22.5% Lasg-20% Fg- 5% Total -100% I guess this is clearer to you now. Regards BluePrincee: |
Dear All, thank you very much for your pieces of advice. After I had laid complaints via online banking medium to no avail, I sent my cousin to go to a branch of the bank. He met with the customer care officer and the staff sent the Gtb customer care WhatsApp number to me. Chatted the team, gave them the details and just now, the 28k has been refunded Into my account. Thank you all. |
Dear MOD, I have been a member of this forum since 2009. However, i have always silently followed activities on the platform since then. I will gladly appreciate if you can be magnanimous enough to help me push this to the front page. On the 28th October, 2022, i transferred N28000.00 via internet banking to an Access bank account. I was debited immediately by GTB with DEBIT ALERT received. However, the beneficiary claimed he did not receive the amount into his account. I have messaged my account officer as well as the the bank's general complaint channels all to no avail. Whilst I have had to transfer another N28000.00 to the Beneficiary via another bank account to avoid embarrassment, i need your kind help to enable GTB refund me this N28000.0 wrong debit. Below is the summary of the debit alert. Acct: ******2370 ,COMM+VAT= 26.88 Amt: NGN28,000.00 DR Desc: -.- Avail Bal: NGN Date: 28-Oct-2022 13:11 Thank you in advance
