RosaConsidine:
I've not followed this story since it broke so I need a bit of help getting a clearer picture before I can form an opinion.

1) Did the Lagos State Government give them any advance notification to leave the area? If they did, how much time were they given before government came to evict them by force?

2) Who owns the land in question? Is it state government land or people's ancestral land?
Brother it's not land, it's more like building shanties on water typical of Ijaw people.

Tell this people to stop breeding unnecessarily when you know you don't have money. Besides that place is not land it's on water, these are the same people they drove away around Adeniji Adele water side then now moved to the lekki area called Otodo Gbame, I just asked my Mum who grew up around Ebute metta/Lagos Island told me they are Ijaw people their major profession is fishing.
FoodRe: Top Ten Amala Joints In Lagos! by bakynes(m): 7:52am On Apr 12, 2017
I think I agree with most people who said the OP goofed with not listing Amala Canada in Ebute metta, I have been there and I can testify to the goodness of God.

Amala Skye bank in Ibadan used to be my base when I was serving in Ibadan, that is the best Amala joint in the whole of Nigeria.

When the President keeps blaming the Jonathan Administration for our present state, many people will say he should shut up and fix the economy. It is now very evident that the man Jonathan is truly responsible for our present state of recession.

If not that those boiz in the creeks will rise up again, I would have suggested the EFCC arrest Me Jonathan with immediate effect.

Meanwhile Dan Etete should be picked up immediately.

In this present day Nigeria where there are no jobs or the available jobs are the 50k,70k,80k jobs, I can categorically tell you all the big boys in town are into yahoo codely. They only use some businesses as cover up, even music artiste and producers are not excluded, listen to 9ice,CDQ,Mastercraft.

As for the OP I don't need to reply you many guys here have flawed your right up, but am particularly interested in replying u about lambasting girls, even as I have a gf, I lambast girls why because even as a Clean up dude, these so called "slay mama" still sleep with your niggas they know are richer behind your back so does it mean only broke dudes lambast girls? I have decided to date only not too attractive girl so I can have peace.

eflintsone:
i personally think sanusi lamido is absolutely wrong , yes he is one of the most intelligent persons in the country but not all his comments can be accurate , remember the north alone feeds almost every part of the country and also source of livestocks comes more from the north, this alone can stand as a means of financial stance for the north if it stands as a nation, if ghana can focus majorly on cocoa, kenya on coffee why do u think north wont stand strong on agriculture and livestock... recently oil has been found in some parts which is a potential ..with all this i think i have said enuf
I think the North would survive but be Poorer not because they do not have Resources or agriculture but because of the illiteracy level, religious extremism which their leaders use to improvise them.

The contraption has to capitulate, I support Ango on the division of the country. Something tells me the north will even do better than yorubaland if everyone goes their way.
I don't know your problem must you throw jibes at Yorubas. When we were practicing regional govts, Western Nigeria was the most developed with first University in Africa, First sky Scrapper in Nigeria, Free education which your people living here benefited from, First TV station so what makes you think we wld be poorer if the country divides?

Ofcos, SW will be like their sister Nations - Benin & Togo.
And you think the whole Benin and Togo are related to Yorubas.

SS also have palm oil and cocoa and other natural resources. Infact SS has the largest palm oil industry in Nigeria.

https://oilpalminafrica./2010/08/06/oil-palm-in-nigeria/
OK well SW also has Palm Oil I just listed some major resources for each region.
PoliticsRe: Ango Abdullahi Replies Emir Sanusi Over His Comments About The North by bakynes(m): 10:07am On Apr 11, 2017
The truth is that all lands in Nigeria are blessed with one Mineral resources or the other. If Nigeria splits it now depends on how each region will harness their Mineral and Human resources.

The North will be the poorest truly because of its literacy level except something is done to tackle that. I have no doubt the SW, SS and SE will be Okay.

The SW has a Port, A bit of Petroleum, Cocoa and the Largest Reserve of Bitumen in Africa.

SE has Coal, Palm oil, a bit of Petroleum, trade and commerce.

SS has huge Oil reserve and Ports too

Like some people have said on the earlier thread,it is better to live better in your village than living in shanties in Lagos. Must you live in Lagos to succeed, if Lagos is not working for you go back to your village or town. I have seen Carpenters and Bricklayer build a storey building in Abeokuta when I was schooling there while their counterparts in Lagos will be struggling to pay rent in their one room apartments.

Make Tinubu come clear una commot make we buy the land.

The same lagos these good for nothing scums tell us everyday they own . Smh
The fla..the aded beasts are like the biblical story of King Solomon and the issue of the controversial child .
You hypocrites covet Lagos on one hand yet wish her evil on the other hand. May destruction and misery be the lot of you flat..headed criminals from the gully ravaged red mudded land of the risen poverty .
That is why when they call Lagos a No man's land or "we developed Lagos" slur they chant I don't respond to their claims because they are only using it to taunt us not like they don't know the truth. That is why they share no spiritual, cultural or traditional attachment to Lagos. That's why they wish for the downfall of Lagos, if they truly developed it they won't wish for its downfall.

I just laugh at some small boys on this thread saying "no matter what never beat a woman". I pray you don't experience First Class, Grade A Madness from women that's when you will know you can beat a woman.

Some of you say, give her the silent treatment and leave the house for her to cool off. I can tell you some women if you keep quiet while they are insulting you thats when they will attack you, they can even trace you to where you went to cool off and come there and tear off your clothes, poor dirty water on you and still not let you sleep the house you built or rented with your money.

Sincerely blood runs through our veins you won't know when you will be provoked to raise your hand to beat her.

Never say you can't beat a woman, wait till you are faced with an extreme situation with some women before you conclude " A man should never beat a woman".

Izen:
No I wouldn't. Violence solves nothing. You just proved to me that the only reason men beat women is because they know they're stronger and not because of what the woman has done.
Not all men beat their women because they are physically stronger but because they have been pushed to the wall. Like my own case because I promised myself never to touch a woman, my ex capitalized on it and even slapped me severally and did those things I mentioned earlier until the day I beat her up so you can see she pushed me to the wall. I know I shd ve left but she keeps begging and I do forgive easily until I knew she cld never change its just her nature to fight and cause trouble.

Baba that na the day dem go carry her body enter mortuary
Na wetin I dey try tell that guy, na because hin never see crazy girls if hin see hin go know say him fit beat woman. If hin gf beat hin old mama, will he still say he can't beat a woman? that would be foolishness if you ask me.

Let both men and women respect themselves and peace will reign but to say you can't beat a woman is just been childish and that person probably has never experienced a woman's fury.

I am not saying make man dey beat woman but to beat them is justified in some cases.

after beating your ex-girlfriend that day what did you achieve? there are other ways to treat girls Bleep up than beating them.
How do you treat a girls fuc*k up when she breaks your wheel screen and destroy every electronics in you house, destroys all your clothes because she suspects you might be cheating?

Please tell me how u treat her fuc*k up in the above scenario?

gbam! I agree with Mr Ibu on this I was taught to never beat a woman. those who went to Marist Brothers can relate.
People like you are small boys you don't know anything, wait till you meet some certain kind of women that's when you will know maybe you can beat a woman or not. I won't say more than that.

I used to be an advocate of never beat a woman but when my ex gf showed me what craze means I had no choice but to beat her that day.

This story is false, is not possible to steal the entire allocation given to his ministry now. If he steals some of it understandable but to consume the whole allocation is not possible.

Workers will be paid out of it, contractors etc and no workers and contractors have complained since, it's just not possible is just like saying a state governor stole the entire yearly Budget of his state. He can only steal some of it not the entire amount. Make we dey use our sense o.
FamilyRe: My Wife Double Dated Before We Got Married by bakynes(m): 11:48pm On Apr 07, 2017
OP made a huge mistake in marrying that lady, she left for two months, came back and you accepted her.i That is the biggest mistake any man can make with a woman. I just experienced a similar situation, my now ex gf we dated for 4 years she just made up excuses formed fight and she left me, i begged tire for what I didn't even do, my family and friends appealed to her she didn't answer anybody.

After 4 months she now used style to send her friend to enter me to know whats up with me before she herself now messaged on whatsapp and called me. I told her straight and blasted her on phone "So you have gone to meet another guy wey parole you, probably he has left you,you are running back to me" I can never accept such a lady that has gone for more than a month.

But looking at the political space, the only Popular Igbo Politicians fit to be president are these two Rochas Okorocha and Uzo Orji Kalu. Both of them are the only Nationalist Igbo Politicians the rest like Peter Obi are tribalist and not nationalist in thinking.

Rochas has positioned himself well,i urge Orji Kalu to start positioning himself though he looks uninterested in becoming the president.

These ones are not linked to the Lagos state Civil sevice as workers. Maybe hired by the commissioner because Lagos State govt since the days of Tinubu has not owed salaries for even one month and always paid in due time.
