Well Yoruba Monarch such as Ooni and Alaafin have existed many years before the birth of Christ and are World recognized nobody knows your monarch in Benue and I doubt if his throne is half as Old as those two Yoruba kings.

If you remove Ikeja, the other developed parts of Lagos were part of the Lagos Federal Territory set up by the Colonialist and Federal Govt pre-1976

All in all Lagos is our land and its not our fault it has been blessed to be the seat of the British Administration and the Federal Capital. Our land is blessed with the deepest sea port in the country doesn't need dredging and direct to the Atlantic Ocean.

We are accommodating and friendly to everyone both foreigners and other Nigerian tribes that is what is making everyone to come to Lagos.

The British Colonialist ruled and developed Lagos from 1861 to 1960.

The Federal govt of Nigeria ruled and developed Lagos as Federal capital between 1960 and 1991.

That's over 130 year gap over other states and regions. That's the edge Lagos has had over other parts of Nigeria.

That's even ignoring the side effects of the development caused by the Colonialists and Federal Govt.

Do not equate the development of Lagos State to the South West.

My friend Lagos is different from Lagos State. Educate yourself on that,Lagos state = Lagos (IKOYI, VI, LAGOS ISLAND) + Part of Western region (Ikeja,Ajah,Lekki,Surulere etc)

Lagos is what the British and the FG developed as the Capital.

Before Lagos state was created There was an FCT which ended just before Mushing where Fela'so house used to be. Most of the state was in the Western Region.
Lagos State was never the capital of Nigeria rather a few LGAS that never included

As regards more alternative routes Lagos doesn't have much of that that contributes to traffic and insanity of drivers but considering the fact that during festive period when people travel to their home states Lagos roads always experience serenity.

So Enugu people are more civilized than Lagos people?have u seen how Lagos drivers drive on Sundays and during Christmas period when people from other states must have travelled to their home states? Any time I travel from Lagos to Enugu, I always feel like I am driving in a foreign country whenever I arrive Enugu. Driving in Enugu is so stress free.

So Enugu is it.

That's simply because there are fewer cars in Enugu so why the rush. But in a place like Lagos too many vehicles on the road. A State that has 30% of the entire countries Vehicle population what do u expect.

It seems u guys don't know what makes drivers in a particular city drive with sanity. It simply depends on the population of vehicles on the road in places like Enugu how many Cars is on the road so there is little or no traffic so there is no rushing people can afford to obey traffic rules but in a place like Lagos if you slack you will sleep on the road and people want to get home to rest after a busy day at work.

See nobody is against correcting the wrongs and stamping out corruption but this is not the way to go about it. Customs already failed in their duties in the first place by allowing vehicles into the country without issuing customs papers,by also allowing dealers sell cars to consumers without custom papers Now you want to go out on the street harassing every Car owner.

So people with cars as far back as 2011 will still have to be paying for customs paper doesn't make sense if you ask me. It is them who failed in their duties not the people so don't bring hardship upon the people with your own mistakes and corruption.

Some women are always readily available for the highest bidder, their Husband or bf maybe doing well for himself I.e comfortable but once they catch a richer man them go port without looking at other qualities their bf has.

80-90% of Nigerian women are simply gold diggers that's why no man respects them, that's why Domestic violence can never end in this part of the world because men simply purchase women as a properties.
