I am surprised a lot of people kept quiet on the issue of the useless Minister who doesn't have first hand info on travellers but decided to believe the Ambassador who will only have something positive to say about his country.

Abike was right after all with the advice, it is not her duty to speak to Nigerians on Foreign travels but if an incompetent Minister isn't doing his job right then someone has to take up that responsibility.

Shame on all the tribalist from the gully erosion ravaged land. She is the one all your drug trafficking brothers are running to for help in India,Asia and SA why didn't they run to your Igbo Minister y'all support.

I say shame on all of you.

Since March 6 that they announced they would commence the black out in my Area we didn't experience total black out. They bring the light around 11:30pm every night up until 5am just that 5hrs 30mins of light every day.

I think they are doing massive maintenance during the day and bring the light at mid night for consumers.

Just imagine the national embarrassment, ordinary SA is issuing a statement on behalf of Nigeria when we have a ministry and a minister in charge of foreign affairs. This goes on to show the lack of respect for constituted authority.
If things were working properly for the common good of Nigeria shouldn't information of this nature come from a designated source. BTW that SA to President on foreign affairs is just a duplication of function and a waste of tax payers funds.
Be blaming her, when the minister is not doing his job someone had to take responsibility for his ineptitude.

Where was this Foreign minister all through the Xenophobic attack of South Africans. Now he feels threatened she is doing his job better than him. He is not even speaking to the public on what his office is doing abt the xenophobic attack. The woman simply gave a good advice that anybody who is not going there for something important should postpone their trip. She doesn't want any Nigerian going there to waste good money and get sent back at the point of entry.

I doubt if many people will have more than 10k. When you say some one is your ex you guys actually dated not some flings you had with the opposite sex a few months, you can't term that a rship.

All my life have only had 5 gfs but lost count of flings.

Hehehehehe.

Igbo women who marry your folks do that because most are born and bred in Yoruba land. A Eastern born igbo girl will spit at the thought right away.

Many of your women cannot meet up to the standard of igbo men.Someone like me can't marry a western woman because I don't joke with my stomach and can't eat stew all the time. Again, I hate noisy and disrespectful women. Your women are not patient and can easily leave the home when the going is rough, even if it means they leave the kids behind. Igbo women are trained to return back to the husband's village with the kids to stay when things get bad for the husband in the city.
I am Yoruba guy and agree with you with every point. Everyone around me knows I don't know how to hide the truth. Igbo women are far better than Yoruba women in beauty, loyalty to marriage, perseverance and Fidelity.
Our women truly leave marriage when things go a bit rough for the Man or sleeps with another Man to meet up with their lifestyle.

My Igbo ex gf stood with me when I had it rough for one year she managed the little I gave her to cook but Yoruba girl would have started misbehaving.

No hiding that fact igbos are better than Yoruba in terms of devotion to matrimony.
PoliticsRe: FG Directs Oil Companies To Relocate Headquarters To Niger-delta by bakynes(m): 2:34pm On Mar 03, 2017
The issue is let there be a gradual relocation, let one IOC relocate first let's see what will happen because those militants have long since forgotten Niger delta agitation, they have turned it to business because if truly they are peace loving like some guy said why are they hijacking ships and vessels along the gulf of Guinea that passes through their waters. Many of the vessels don't even have anything to do with Oil yet they still kidnap them and demand for ransome.

gartamanta:
Thats an age old lie that the Lagos/Ibadan expressway media have been peddling for decades.

Nothing ever appeases the North except power. Even if Aguiyi Ironsi had executed the coup plotters, the Northerners would have eventually come for him.

Northerners are never happy when a Southerner is in power. From the day a Southerner gets into powrer, the Northerners start planning his removal.

We saw this with Shonekon, Obasunjo and GEJ.

Aguiyi Ironsi was just a man who was caught up with the prevailing times. He was warned several times that the Northerners were going to strike, he did nothing. He was still chasing about for 'one Nigeria' when they killed him.

Ojukwu did not repeat his mistake and chose to rise up for the freedom of his people which is why we love him.

I still dont understand why the OP put up a picture of TY Danjuma who killed Ironsi
Rubbish talk, the Igbos dominated the military pre-independence and before the Civil War, the Northerners were the worst hit by the January 1966 Coup plotted by majority of Igbo officers. You cannot really blame them for killing the Man who refused to execute the coup plotters instead put them in a Jail in the very same region they came from.

The issue with Shonekan, GEJ was because they later Post Civil War control the Military and Political Power back then the Igbos controlled the Military.

that's rank, not age. Buhari, ironsi and co were in the same age bracket if I remember very well
See this one When Ironsi was head of state, Buhari was a very low ranked officer probably a Sergent. Ironsi was Head of State in 1966 while Buhari joined the Army in 1962

It's a welcome idea we have no business carrying big cash around.

Whatever you want to do that involves big money withdraw it in instalments or pay them in instalments.

Everyone should be encouraged to have a bank account, ATM cards, Be involved in Internet and mobile banking.

Every Store selling expensive items should get a POS.
PoliticsRe: Xenophobic Attack: Niger Delta Militants Threaten To Shutdown MTN, Dstv, Others by bakynes(m): 10:27am On Mar 02, 2017
The truth is that it's best we go there to expedite our citizens who are willing to come back home, the ones who don't want to come home shd know they can be killed. As for the ones that have established themselves there they should leave till the tension dies down.

We cannot retaliate against them expect the diplomatic way, we recall our high commission there and we send theirs packing here. As for people saying we shd attack MTN,DSTV and co we wld only be shooting ourselves in the foot because no Nigerian indigene can replicate such services and employ as many as these companies employ. You want to send thousands or millions of people back into the already saturated job market.

Make we no lie for ourselves these present generation of women just forget about them there is a 90% chance they will cheat.

I drove my ex gf last year to one of her client's house for wedding Aso-oke arrangement and it happens that it's the clients daughter that is wedding in two weeks. I can categorically tell you that when my gf and her client went inside to discuss the fee this girl due to marry in two weeks started flirting with me and touching my body.

If not for the fear of God some part of me was saying collect her number and arrange her to meet you in an hotel but I didn't do that and the man that will marry her will say he has married a wife.

go and read history, did you know that lagos up to benin republic what once under the benin empire
It was under the Benin empire likewise the likes of Onitsha. Benin empire was the strongest empire in the whole of the sub region now called West Africa. It took colonies everywhere they conquered. Lagos was one of its colonies but before it was taken there were people who were there that has cultural and traditional lineage and that's the Aworis. That was why when the British conquered they gave back the Power to the land owners the Awori king Oba Kosoko.

This argument is just baseless is just like in the old days of Roman Empire they extended their colonies to far Isreal even during the time of Jesus if you read your Bible well Romans were the ones rulling the Israelites. Alexandria the capital of Egypt during the days of Cleopatra the Roman's ruled the Egyptians by the Emperor appointing Mark Anthony as the Governor.

Do you hear Italians of now saying they own Egypt or Isreal or any of their colonies.

Simple Lagos was once ruled under the authority of the Benin Empire does not mean Benin people are the owners of Lagos

It was only a colony.
Please tell us when the date of the colonization took place?
At least the date alexander conquered egypt was recorded.

Besides your song is beginning to change tune fron the one u were singing at first.
What song is changing, don't you know how powerful empires establish colonies every where they conquer. The romans conquered the Anglo-saxons and named their land Britannia( present day Britain) but Britannia was never occupied by Romans it was just a colony under the rule of a military Governor appointed by the Emperor of Rome. Likewise is Lagos an all powerful Bini empire established it's authority over the settlement called Lagos named it Eko" but the people of that area were Aworis a village of fishermen.

My friend Lagos is a Portuguese word. And Edo or Bini people do not own Lagos. The Awori, ijebu and Egba people all Yoruba clans owns lagos.Lagos was only a colony under the rule of Oba of Bini just like Alexandria in Egypt was ruled by Mark Anthony of Rome doesn't mean Egypt is a Roman land.

Funny people.
The only people that can be officially traced as the original dwellers of Lagos are the Edos.

Some people keep trying vigorously to deceive history Mscheww..... undecided
So because the Oba of Bini Kingdom which was a very powerful empire in the old days ceased Lagos now means it belongs to Bini or Edo people. The Oba of Bini ceased Lagos not the Bini people and there were people there( the Aworis) before it was ceased. When the British ruled they returned power back to the Awori king so how do u guys own Lagos. Or is it because we decided to maintain the name "Eko" thats wat is making u think you own Lagos.

Our country is very democratic and people are taking advantage of that.
Take that protest to your parliament to make a law banning Nigerians that have no meaningful contribution to SA from entering your country and deporting illegal immigrant Nigerians.

Tell your brothers to stop behaving like they are in the stone age of babarism and tackle issues diplomatically.

In the late 70's when we didn't want Ghanaians in Nigeria we chased them out of Nigeria we didn't go about killing them on the streets like insects.

Be a voice of reasoning to your barbaric brothers.

am sorry but now i know for sure that your taste in music is GARBAGE

there is no new gen artiste that comes remotely close to the lyrical genius of psquare, much less the overall appeal that they have.

Lets see these new gen artiste try to last as long as psquare did before we can talk.

Psquare has been the most consistent artiste in nigeria since they came into the game. Even 2face has gone years without hits but never psquare.

When you are blessed, you are blessed. You are just being biased with your comments. Then again, i dont expect much from someone who wishes to see a talent like psquare leave when the industry is filled with mediocre new gen artiste that only sings about big booty.
U can't understand if you don't reason deep, am no small boy,I don't like the big booty type of music but u don't expect the younger generations to be Jamming Bank Alert in his car. They like music with modern beat and sound and am sorry your " Bank alert" doesn't have such a beat or sound.

This case is just like Usher in the US he still has his fans in ten's of millions but anytime he releases a track it hits but it quickly fades off the airways or the chart but the likes of Chris Brown,The Weekend or Tory Lanez releases a track and you see it stay in the airwaves and charts for many months because their music is more appealing to the younger generations than Ushers. It's just telling you something that their time is coming to an end nothing lasts forever.

You can't understand because u don't reason deep and follow the trend. That's why their last two hit tracks didn't stay long before it faded off the air play. People want new sound new artiste with a different feel something they ve not heard before. They still have their fans no doubt but people want to hear new sounds nothing last forever.
