PoliticsRe: Will The SS/SE Vote Osinbanjo In 2019 Or Repay Yoruba Treachery? by bakynes(m): 11:14am On May 11, 2017
sanandreas:
The Yorubas should forget SS votes. They clearly show how they hate us with the relocation of oil companies from lagos state. Karma is real. We would pay yoruba in their own coin. I would rather vote Amajiri.
Vote Almajiri, who suffers when they militarize your region or gets the Oil block.

We are simply telling you the truth, tell your youths to embrace peace if not Yoruba or not they won't relocate the HQ back to your Cult/Militant/Pirate zone.
PoliticsRe: Will The SS/SE Vote Osinbanjo In 2019 Or Repay Yoruba Treachery? by bakynes(m): 11:10am On May 11, 2017
Damn you idiots on this thread from the SS and SE. Buhari will not die and will get well. Nobody is wishing for his death except the igbos.

Yorubas never hated igbos we ve always been indifferent about igbos, it is igbos who hate Yoruba for not supporting their secession agenda.

However, the game plays out whether you vote Osinbajo or not we will get our shot at the presidency again when it's the right time.

Try and understand that there is a huge difference in what this guy and Pretty Mike is doing.

Pretty Mike would not have been arrested if he did those acts indoor but he does it on the road and in public events that makes it criminal but this guy does it in the confine of his hotel room. If he were to be doing the porn in public then that's a criminal act.

As far as am concerned the Nigerian constitution is silent on Ponography but Slavery, even though the girls willingly submit themselves to be used nobody will understand that once it becomes public.

See Igbos already saying rubbish about the Yorubas. Thinking the AG members were trying to be threacious not knowing it was the Awolowo faction and Akintola faction that went to NPC and NCNC separately to form a coalition.
PoliticsRe: 10 Most Developed State Capitals In Nigeria-opinion by bakynes(m): 3:49am On May 10, 2017
Fools everywhere on this thread. The only time I get to see those brown roof area in Ibadan is when I take short cuts on my way to Lagos so I can get to the express faster through Mapo side.

The ancient part which is the brown roof area is very tiny compared to the Modern parts of Ibadan just that the ancient brown roof part is set on a hill so you can easily see it from any part of the city.

Ibadan and Kano where the only two cities in Nigeria pre colonial era. The reason why the SE is devoid of so much brown roof is because of the Civil war, the North too has huts as their proof of pre colonial era. Ask yourself where were you leaving before the white men came or you don't have cities before they came?

thanks for educating those E-doits, let them come to my ikorodu and say it's not a yoruba land. we go drag them go Oba ayangburen palace beat some sense into dem.
I am not even too sure if the Oba made such statement, but if he did am sure he only said so to make excuse for not greeting the Ooni.

The Oba himself is Awori and speaks Yoruba. Aworis are decendants of Olofin, they migrated from Ife to Lagos.I doubt if he can even speak one word in Benin.

These guys are just bunch of lazy ass, why do they have to keep shifting the dates for the passage of the budget. Before they said it will be passed latest February but because of Saraki and his goons issue with the Executive they shifted it down to May.

Last week they said it will be passed on Tuesday now again they are saying Thursday again. Make we sit-down dey look sha.

I know only one Oba of Lagos. Are you a second one, Musiwa?
Mr Oga listen when someone knowledgeable is educating you. Lagos Island is different from Lagos State.

Lagos Island is Idumota, Marina, Isale Eko axis. The rest of Lagos was part of the Old western region.

Besides is the Oba of Lagos not Awori are Aworis not Yorubas. So better don't kill yourself untop Yoruba matter. He only said that as an excuse for not greeting the Ooni of Ife.

When they say Oba of Lagos it actually means Oba of Lagos Island not Oba of Lagos state.

There are other kings in Epe,Ikorodu,Ajah,Ipaja, Ikate Elegushi etc that aren't under the Oba of Lagos.

TonyeBarcanista said the Niger Delta is condusive for business and look at the rhetoric the Youth militant leaders are sending to the outside world through that documentary. I've watched similar documentaries on CNN and Al Jazeera, the youths are looking for quick money and not development.
Some of those vessels along the Niger delta part of the gulf of Guinea don't even have anything to do with Nigeria, just passing through to another country along that coast, they get hijacked by Militants/sea pirates. They kidnap the white men and demand ransome. Is that the place where Tonye wants these people to relocate back to?

This is not even about Injustice to the region anymore, it has now turned to profitable business for these militants even if the FG gives them resource control these vices can never end in the Niger delta.
PoliticsRe: Port Harcourt Is Not Part Of Igbo Land. by bakynes(m): 5:20pm On May 08, 2017
We must understand something here that you can't force people to identify themselves with you. Egun and Itshekiri people bear Yoruba names but they are not Yorubas just as Ikwerres bear Igbo names but claim they are not Igbos.

I don't know of the Igbos but I know before the invasions by the colonial masters there was nothing like Yoruba but each sub group were living separately. The word Yoruba is a unifying factor to bring all the similar sub groups that speak the same language and had the same culture together as one. The Eguns and Itshekiri today are not under that umbrella called Yoruba but are very similar to the rest of us called Yoruba's.

Likewise Hausa,Fulani and Kanuris and Gwaris are all similar in culture, language and tradition.
PoliticsRe: Why I Am Against The Forced Relocation Of Oil Companies To Niger Delta by bakynes(m): 5:06pm On May 08, 2017
Don't mind the IPOB or some illiterate Ijaw youths.

They say if the region is not safe enough for the IOC relocation then it shouldn't be safe for for drilling and production but they forget most of the platforms are Offshore which sometimes maybe difficult for the militants to easily reach with speedboats. The platforms offshore are heavily guarded by the army and Navy. The few white men in the Niger delta just work on a supervisory role and are heavily guarded by the Army.

If they relocate their HQ back how many of them do the Army want to guard. The white men and women walk all around Lagos without security and nobody is harassing or kidnapping them.

We all saw a documentary on Nairaland where a militant leader was interviewed by a white man who had the strong mind to walk into their camps, the militant leader said kidnapping a white man especially Americans,British and French is very profitable is that where you want them to relocate to? Or the numerous Sea pirates in the Niger delta along the gulf of Guinea hijacking vessels all the time.

Besides the only tax the LASG collect is the income tax on the staffs of the IOC,the coperate tax is paid to the FG and there is no CSR provided to any community in Lagos all the Social responsibilites is given to the ND communities.

I stand by Justice and equity and these Oil coys should be in the Niger delta but until the youths, militants and elders embrace peace, am sorry nothing the govt tells them will make them come back to the ND.

I don't give a fu*ck if the fuc*king mods ban me or not but who is the idiot mod that moved this stupid thread to the front page of Nairaland.

Which Igbos developed Lagos? Is it the Igbos we accepted back to Lagos after the Civil War or because the LASG collects taxes from Igbo business Men and women and other Nigerians to build roads and other infrastructure.

Or are the Lagos Administrators Igbos?
Or the Lagos Civil service made up of Igbos?
Or the Local council made of Igbos?

Then how the f*uck did Igbos develop Lagos.

Lagos made Igbos, many of their millionaires today made their wealth in Lagos so how the f*uck did they develop Lagos.

We all know Nigeria is a religious country but it's people are not Godly. Immediately people leave Church or mosque, they put off their religious garner and put on their wicked garment and continue in the world.

That's why a country like Britain or America that go to church once or twice a year but are Godly in nature prosper.

You want the Oil Companies to relocate to a region where their staffs are likely to be Kidnapped for ransom, their infrastructures are likely to be bombs and Youths always extorting money from them at will?

A business concerns makes decisions based on Security, Profit and ease of doing business. Provide a secure environment and the companies will fall over themselves to relocate.

Guy this your comment is very regrettable. You mean that the oil fields are located in Lagos or Abuja? Or the oil field here is being drill by robots which is impossible to be kidnapp or kill by militants? If they can drill oil here and sell it without their platform being bomb, then i see no reason why they shld not relocate to the state that the oil is gotten from.
I knw you are not from Niger Delta.
The few of them drilling Oil in the delta, do you know how many military personnel guarding them? We saw a documentary on Nairaland where a white reporter interviewed a militant leader and he was talking of how profitable it is to kidnap a Westerner especially Americans, French and British. Or you were not in this country during OBJ era when they kidnap a white man averagely a day.

PoliticsRe: Reps Reject Oil Firms’ Relocation To Niger Delta by bakynes(m): 7:13am On May 06, 2017
All these South South boys just cry like babies. What is the big deal in siting your headquarters in another state. The FG collects the tax anyway not the state govt.

You guys are only thinking like this because it's not your investment, is it not better to site their HQ where they know it is safe for life than an uncertain region. A region that can start bombing and kidnapping tomorrow.

I was in PH in 2015, if you see the convoy of a white man probably an Oil worker you would think it was a Governor or president. This you can't see in Lagos, you will probably just see the White man and his driver or a white man jogging on the road. He knows he is relatively safe and can live life not live life in hiding or with Armed security because of fear of kidnapping.

Do you know how much Chevron and Mobil has spent building their headquarters over the years, you now just want them to abandon the facility and start building another one spending millions of dollars again. They don't think with sentiments like you guys do, they think business wise.

These militants see these kidnapping and facility bombing as business it's no more agitation for a greater Niger Delta.

If relative peace comes to the Niger delta today these Oil companies will naturally relocate back nobody needs to tell them.
