All of you criticizing PDP and accusing them of corruption are too blind to notice that 70 percent of the present APC members were all in the same PDP you castigate. Imagine Akpabio, a former minority leader in PDP is now in your faultless APC. I pity all of you APC sympathizers. Most of you dont have relations in the federal unis/polys that are on strike or among our innocents boys in the army that are being sacrificed to Boko Haram. If you and your family are presently living in IDP camps in YOUR OWN COUNTRY due to the ravaging fulani herdsmen, then you will realize that this present government is carrying out a subtle genocide. Vote wisely! |

First it was Tolu Ogunlesi that shared this picture, now madam Lauretta. Soon it might be Orji Uzor Kalu or Ngige. They are all trying hard to sell Buhari's failure to the Igbos. But Nigerians are wiser now. Buhari's emergence as the President was a monumental mistake. Never again. |
Godswillnwaoma:Funny mindset. Giving up before attempting. Check d German thread for success stories. I'm a beneficiary of the thread! |

Do your masters in Germany. It's tution free. Look for an English thought masters there and develop yourself with programming skills. Cost of application and blocked account shouldn't exceed 4 million naira. Invest the remaining 6 million naira on Treasury bills and other safer investments. You can either stay and work upon graduation or you migrate to US, UK, Canada or Australia. Migration is easier to other western countries from Germany. You will also work while studying so there is a high chance of recouping the 4 million back before graduation. A roll over investment of 6 million naira capital should also yield good returns in 2 years. Check daad.de for available course and visit the priceless German students thread here on nairaland. Peace. |
Hello Chris, Replied your DM. This thread is meant for job seekers but I humbly request permission to drop some study tips. You can still stay in Cottbus and work in Berlin. ERM MSc. time table is quite flexible and you can also determine the number of modules you want to study per semester. BTU has a free language school. There are also affordable language schools in Cottus. Despite the distance to Berlin, working there is feasible due to their fantastic transport system and your privilege of free transport with your student ID. Nigerians are many here, you will feel at home. Regards, |
Chriswazo:Hello Chris, we met in the students thread. I'm doing ERM too but I'll be transferring to Bonn Rhein Sieg next winter. ERM is not lucrative in Germany but you can easily get jobs outside Germany with it. Cottbus is a very sleepy town and there are no jobs here. Most students work in Berlin which is 2 hours from Cottbus. |
Places like Dresden, Chemnitz and some parts of eastern Berlin are currently hot beds for neo nazi protesters.. The influx of Arab refugees has increased tension in these areas. If possible, avoid east Germany! |
And I find it hard to believe that you are a resident of Germany without knowing these basic survival and integration tips. Also, try to be professional on this forum. Stop throwing insults as you wish. |
Ugoerico:I am not scaring anybody. Just telling the plain truth as to the reality here! It's better to have these info now to prevent extreme culture shock when they come. So which of my points ain't true? Is it the language proficiency requirements or the skills in demand here? I currently school in Cottbus and live in Berlin FYI. |
The best way to enter Germany is through study visa. Tuition here is free and you can work while studying. There are also English thought courses here. You can develop your language skills while studying and your IT skills too. Finally, your chances of employment is way higher if you graduated from a german university. |
The basic rules of getting a job in Germany are: 1. Have at least a B1in german language. 2. Have a science, IT or engineering background. 3. Or irrespective of your course, make sure you learn skills like Java script, big data, python or Matlab. IT skills are well sought after here. 4: Enough cash to get by. Please take the language skills seriously. Germans feels uncomfortable around you if you don't speak Deusch. Only the younger ones, 35 years and below speaks little English. If possible, avoid cities in east Germany. Cities like Berlin and North Rhein Westphalia are great places to get jobs. But they are quite expensive. Racism still exists in Germany/Europe. So you'll need a "thick skin" to survive. Danke Schon. Tchuss. |
The MD has finally crumbled his father's Empire |
Mary Magdalene. I want to confirm if truly she was married to Jesus and had kids for him. |
buhariguy:Aja lo ma je enu e. Ode oshi |
Adriano09:Turkish airlines, price is 165,500. Go to the head office at Adeola Odeku. |
ItzChinnex:No you can't unblock all the funds. |
Samsmithweb88:Yes it is and will be observed in all German embassies worldwide. |
The embassy/consulate of a country in another country is regarded as a sovereign soil! Once you step into the premises of The German Consulate/Embassy, you are on German soil and you are bound to the laws of Germany. Only German holidays are observed in the Embassy/consulate. Oct 1st is NOT a German public holiday. Instead, the reunification day will be observed at the consulate. FYI, Julian Assange of wikileaks is wanted by the UK authorities and has been living in asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy (foreign soil) in London since 2012. |
flange:Pls how soon can one get his visa after submission of passport? |
aimsbaba:I've already posted this pics on twitter and copied @HQNigeriaarmy. I pray they follow up. |
ehixestgratias:My interview is on d 20th of September. Yes I've applied for accommodation via studentenwerk. Hope you have too. |
To our friends that have been interviewed, what is the passport photograph size and what is the required background colour? Danke! |
Chriswazo:Yes bro. |
Gspeed:BTU gives admission on a rolling basis. The earlier you apply the earlier your admission. Most people I know have been admitted. I hope you get admitted for ERM too! But pending your admission, quickly apply for hostel accommodation via studentenwerk. Good luck! |
Chriswazo:My CGPA is 1.5. Yes I have admission from two other schools and I've booked for interview. I hope you did not apply to only HBRS. |
I believe this will be of great importance to some of us here. https://www.opportunitiesforafricans.com/daad-development-related-postgraduate-scholarships-2019-2020/ |
Chriswazo:I got a notification from Hochschulestart. No they don't accept deferment. I mailed them for a possible enrollment extension and they politely refused. |
goldsmiths:I got admission yesterday but their enrollment deadline is September 24th. Thank God I applied to other schools. |
goldsmiths:None yet. |
