It is only a few stingy misers whose single offering in a service has never exceeded 20naira, that cry to the Heavens how pastors live lavishly. Most pastors actually live on generous gifts from a kind wealthy few who might not even be their congregational members than on your miserly offerings and irregular tithes. Stingy Christians are first to cry foul when pastor changes his living room furniture. They mourn when pastor gets a new car even if it was presented to him by a generous person in the presence of all. Pastor moves to a new house, you groan. Pastor wears new clothes, it becomes breaking news in negative caption. Stingy people are always unhappy seeing others enjoy kindness that they won't and can't offer.

You cannot be wealthy if the sight of luxury irritates or enrages you. In fact you belong to the world of squalor. Wealth is a part of life, so is poverty. This is why it is life! The presence of one gives meaning and relevance to the other!

How people spend their money should be none of your business! Until you stop blaming the rich for your poverty, you are destined to die a pauper. Luxury is neither a sin nor a crime! If you so much love poverty, then die in poverty! Life is choice!!!!!
I hadn't posted a comment on nairaland for quite awhile but I couldn't resist saying you're so on point and it's clear you have a certain date with prosperity by the wisdom of your words. Thumbs up!

I totally condemned what these militants are doing......No group should hold Nigeria to ransom. But I think APC government was rather too hasty in canceling the pipeline protections contract given to the militant without making adequate alternative. It is by wisdom and patience that you lead a bull out of chinaware shop.
Those saying NDA are just destroying their lands are not facing reality. The land and oil belongs to all of us and we need peace in the region. More than 80% of our wealth as a nation comes from that region. It will take at least 10 years for us to survice as a nation without oil from the Niger delta.
This is the greatest test of PMB diplomacy and firmness. I pray God give him the wisdom to distinguished his friends from his enemies and to handle this situation with outmost care.
I have to say this is the wisest and sincerest comment I have read on Nairaland in a long while. Objective, untainted and inspiringly nationalistic. Don't stop speaking wisdom, soon enough your voice will count where it matters.

pls respond
For questions 1 and 2, I'd just advice you keep tabs with this thread and once it's out you're sure to find out but tentatively it should be around July.

For question 3, the admission list for this session was released last November but payments and registration started around January/February due to challenges with single treasury account as directed by FG.

For question four, that would depend on a couple of factors, I'd rather allow someone from that dept respond.

Our problem here in Nigeria is ethnicity and religion. You will see a youth and a graduate of ten years ago and without a job clapping and hailing somebody who stole for himself, children and generation not yet born probable because he is a christian, moslem, igbo, yoruba or hausa. And also because he is in PDP or APC. We have a long way to go unless we change our orientation.
Exactly my point!
Foreign AffairsRe: Panama Papers Expos; Iceland's Prime Minister Resigns. by Bamibor: 6:49pm On Apr 05, 2016
I think it's worth noting that the news reads "...following intensified pressure from the people calling for him to resign..." (paraphrased)
One major problem in Nigeria is that the masses prefer to observe with mirth, the pitiable irresponsibility and melodrama that characterizes leadership in this country, rather than vociferously stand up with "one voice" (the voice of justice and equity that is) and demand that each sin gets its just due. But no, we're blinded by religious and ethnic prejudice, short-sighted by partisan bigotry.

How on earth do we move forward if we would not "shine our eyes"(in the right I mean, certainly not the common interpretation) and hold ourselves accountable for our actions and inactions. After all the leaders and the led are all part of us.

Keep up d good work. So nobody cleared today again! Who intends to clear tomorrow?
The physical clearance is going on according to the schedule that was arranged those for this week; physical sciences, education etc., have commenced theirs but those who were there today, couldn't access the final step of the physical clearance today (I.e. Online clearance by PG admission officer), so they were asked to check back by 12pm tomorrow to complete it.

I hate to say things like this but since it is factual, I just have to. For the admission status there are only two statii admitted and pending. Draw your inference. If there is anybody here who have seen something different from this two statii pls speak up.( and who told me it is statii? What is statii??) Oyibo go soon put me for trouble.
Well if by stati, you mean the plural of status as I suppose you do, then the correct word should be statuses (I didn't know that previously myself, just looked it up). I hope those who are yet to get admitted have whatever issues there are resolved as soon as possible. Good luck to all.

Poems For ReviewSilence (a Poem From The Heart) by Bamibor(op): 12:20pm On Nov 24, 2015
Silence, you are not a good friend.
I give you my doubts and fears to mend
And you make me your prisoner.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Yet when I oft would opt to speak,
There are no listening ears near to pick.
So I am lone with you silence.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Silence, you have a real bad side.
I give you my pains and tears to hide
And my heart’s turned to a cauldron.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Yet when I did let my eyes leak,
They pelted me, saying I was weak.
Then I recoiled into silence.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Silence, you play me like a fool
I choose to leave the matter with you
And I am left to clean the mess.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Yet when I call wrongs to account,
They accuse me of seeking to haunt
And I’m pushed to live in silence.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Silence, you are a heavy stone.
See the weight I have to bear alone,
Of cares and needs I would not share

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Yet I fear, no shoulders are free,
That’d gladly bear the burdens with me.
So sadly, I strain in silence.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
Silence you’ll be my alibi,
While I take solace in the divine,
For things I cannot do or tell.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

Perhaps I’ll find one warm and wise,
Who would listen well and not despise,
Then I’ll leave this shell of silence.

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»

NB: Have you ever had those times when the only way you could deal with what you were going through, was by enduring the easy, yet weighty escape of silence? I sure have had those myself. There really is nothing as beautiful as having a loving, caring and wise heart that is not yours, to pour your cares into. I do hope you find one soon, if haven't any yet.
Cheers!!!

Poems For ReviewRe: Untitled by Bamibor: 12:10pm On Nov 24, 2015
The poem is quite deep and thought provoking. Several lines had me trying to decipher what the writer was thinking, his mood. Was it despair?
"he had lived for centuries... "
Was it hopelessness?
"...a man unconscious"
Was it hope?
" here comes a new dawn"
Perhaps it's a mixture of all of these, which man usually has to experience in one short lifetime.
Giving it a fitting title, is not an easy task sir.
A really nice piece. Cheers!

elantraceey:
DOUBT AND FEAR

Doubt and fear are the two tormenting twins
of the enemy down here,
sent to harass and rob you of God's blessings.
But faith and love
come from above.
Faith and love - for faith worketh by love.
And faith working by love
will give you victory in every circumstance -
will give you deliverance out of every problem.
Faith and love sent from heaven above.
Faith and love born of your spirit
that is regenerated and born again:
The love of God shed abroad in your spirit.
Faith rising up out of the Word
upon which you meditate and think.

So cast aside doubt and fear
for they have no place in you
as you walk down here.
For He has not given us the spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
So cast away doubt and fear
as you'd pull off your coat or cloak
and throw it to one side.
And ruse up and walk in love,
and act in faith.
And all the heavenly blessings from above
shall be at your disposal.
And in His great plan,
you'll live and enjoy His blessings,
as you walk in this time.
And so you shall rejoice and be glad,
for, you see, this is the day
and this is the hour of your time.

In her next life she wont try to fool a man again. RIP.
To the killer, jail awaits cool
I really don't buy the idea of sponsoring a woman just with the sole aim of marrying her in future, especially where the man himself is not well educated. If you have a philanthropic mind, do good, but not strictly with a mind of receiving marriage as a reward. From history, that arrangement has failed more times than it has worked out.
CrimeFinal Year Student Murdered For Rejecting Marriage Proposal by Bamibor(op): 1:31pm On Nov 04, 2015
A 22-year-old final year student of Federal
Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri has allegedly been
killed by her boyfriend for refusing his marriage
proposal.
The decease identified as Onyinyechi
Okegbulam, was shot in the head at close range
by her supposed boyfriend in the village.
liveschoolnews.com.ng learnt that the deceased
was, last Saturday, lured out of her family home
by the boyfriend at about 7p.m.
A source reported that as soon as the boy saw
the girl approaching him, he fired at her.
Another source claimed that soon after shooting
the girl, the young man tried to smuggle
Onyinyechi’s lifeless body into his car but
scampered for safety when a woman raised
alarm, which attracted several people to the
scene.
Liveschoolnews.com.ng grapevine gathered that
the boyfriend was responsible for the entire
educational expenses of the girl.
A resident of the area said: “We heard that the
boy picked the bills for the girl’s education, but
that the girl later abandoned the boy and opted
to marry another man.
“We have even heard that the marriage has been
fixed before the boyfriend struck.”
Although the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr.
Andrew Enwerem, a deputy superintendent of
police, could not be reached at press time, a
reliable source in the state police headquarters,
Owerri, confirmed that police had waded into the
matter.
The police source said: “Police have started
investigating the incident and the late girl’s
parents are cooperating with us. Police will get
to the root of the case.”
May her soul rest in peace

I didn't understand your question. Are you referring to the current post graduate application or another ongoing program? Or do you mean direct entry for second degree?
