I would advise you to send ur transcript to an organisation in Nigeria where u av some1 in high position that will collect it for u den u can scan it to ur schools if dey allow scanned documents. Sent mine to my dad's place of work den he collected it for me so I av d copy and I use it anytime I want. Hope dis helps
OGIYEN,

As an alternative, if you're applying to a school that requests an online upload of your transcript, give your school in Nigeria all necessary credentials to access the portal.

After the upload must have been completed, go to the portal to verify it and get a copy for yourself.

Schools that use Bear Tracks would definitely favor you.

Good luck

Exactly they way i see things, talking of the embolden i e. This is just a simple rule of selfrespect. Ive never had to keep initiating chats because i am too pretty for that. Lol And nobody should if they start seeing their self worth too.
Really if one lacks self respect how do they expect others to value them. If i was a guy i will keep my head high cos trying to please every girl would only displease them the more.

ps; check my siggy too wink
Good thing you share my sentiment. Last thing I want to display is being 'needy'. A chick and I were travel partners some days back, and after putting a call through after the journey, she said she'd called back. Even though it was late, she still did. I didn't have to force anything.

LuveU2,

I like your thread. I might be wrong but the guys have their role in this too. Most guys are always looking to execute their ulterior motives.

But here's the rule, if you add someone on a social network and you're intent on making friends and all, after like 3-5 chats (I'm being magnanimous here) initiated by the requestor and none initiated from the other person... it's best to draw away. Whether you keep the person on your friend list or not is then up to you.

Friendships demand obligation on both ends. That's why most gf/bf relationships in naija is so skewed cos the friendship is always the guy trying to prove a point.

Every intending international student will have to pay the offset as a result of the new rates. Even if officially USD drops to 250, depending on the amount to be paid, it could be a huge sum. This is a very bad policy. I was wrong about this government but hope is all I've got right now.

I have attended several Igbo parties and that of the Yoruba..To be honest..Abeg i prefer the yoruba party..food, meat and drinks are readily available..food is usually not sufficient in Igbo party like that becos they must have invested that money on other things to show of at the party such as expensive wines and alcohols.so you will drink enough sha.but food is usally not in abudance.as for meat..just know that you are eating your rice with either a small meat or a largh chunk that looks like meat but is filled up with bones....abeg i prefer the yoruba owambe..i always come back happy and satisfied whenever i embark on any owambe than the other one..i am not a yoruba person so i know what i am talking about..

This reeks of desperation. Phew!

If you can't be happy all by yourself, when still single, that says a whole lot about your personality.

One tip though: Hang out with friends, be sociable and attract people: boys and girls. Most of all, be yourself.

Hello House,

My application was delayed today After Medical Passed status. CIC requested Medical result.

Please note that only the grounds that are checked off apply to the the refusal of your application.
1) have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study
2) have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the costs of transporting yourself and any family members who are accompanying you to and from Canada.

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
1)personal assets and financial status.

Others Reason:
Insufficient evidence of available funds provided for your studies in Canada.

Below is the documents I submitted on April 22nd.

Academic qualifications:
1) Offer and Letter of Admission
2) Letter of Approval of my application for a Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (CAQ) for Studies.
3) Copy of my Transcripts
4) Copy of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
5) Copy of National Diploma (ND) certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
6) Copy of NECO Results.

Employment:
1) A copy of my employment letter
2) My Resume
3) A copy of my study leave
4) ID Card.

Financial qualifications:
1) Personal Statement of Account balance of N1.7M
2) Letter of Introduction and declaration of sponsorship from Company.
3) Company Statement of Account (Naira Accoount N14M & Dom Acct $250K)
4) Affidavit of Sponsorship from Company
5) My pay slips from October 2015 to March 2016.
6) Reference letter from my bank.
7) Bank reference letter for Company

Other Documents:
1) Completed and signed IMM1294E, IMM5257B_1 and IMM5645E forms.
2) Data page of my international passport.
3) Passport photograph
4) Copy of my Birth Certificate
5) Police Character Certificate.
6) Company Certificate of Incorporation and Registration documents
7) Tax Clearance Certificate for Company
cool Company Board Resolution letter.

How can I resolve this and re-package.

Thanks
You've got a very good application, whether you convinced the VOs well enough is another question.

Your application is very similar to mine except that I included a SoP. In the SoP, I stated briefly what the company stands to gain from sponsoring me since my intended course of study and the company's operations align. The letter of sponsorship then explained in details why the company would sponsor me (from a technical and business standpoint).

Also, exact figures the company will sponsor with were stated in the board resolution letter as well as the declaration of sponsorship.

How long you've been working may also play a role here or how long you've known your employer.

People have used company sponsorship and have gotten visa and people have also used individual sponsors and have been rejected.

You need to tackle the problem and know why you NEED to change something if need be. My advice: be more than convincing with your claims, and have people review your application properly before submission.

House some1 who submitted on 20th of May got medical call 2day and i submitted 16th of May. Both are paper route. Should i be worried? Cos its like im about expecting the worse from CIC. My HBP is running higher
You'd better do well to calm down. People's timelines are different even if the applications were submitted the same day.

I hope you're also aware that some get rejected even after medical is passed.

Relax and be hopeful.

He could still be angry, so fall back & give him a bit of space. The ball is now on his court. You sound like the impulsive type that reacts based on feelings rather than facts. Always remember that feelings (your suspicions) aren't facts. So don't be surprised when people take offence at being accused of things that you've made up in your mind & decided they were true, when in fact they're a figment of your tortured mind. You're in the wrong here, so take a nibble at humble pie & wait it out.

Been there. Done that. Got the t-shirt as proof.
Yup I'm reading a book on emotional intelligence and this is so spot on ma'am. Facts and feelings are two distinct things.

Well Op,
Since you've apologised, wait it out a bit, some people need their space, then try to restore communication.

We keep excelling while they keep fearing us, hating us, watching our next steps, blaming us and wanting to be like us.

The Yoruba race, once free of this quagmire of terrorism from the North and East, will become Africa's beacon of hope. Yorubas are intelligent, tolerant and beautiful people.

You're unbelievable. You didn't comment about the innovation, all you were after was the tribe. It's a shame where we've got ourselves in this country. People are doing it yes but our tribe isn't a tribe of chest beaters.
