Time To Break My Silence.

Each time I try to keep silence my conscience won't let me be,just as I recall one that the man in me dies when I keep mute in the place of oppression.

Yes I used the word oppression here to justify the suffix on the unjust rustication of a 200L student of the prestigious university of Abuja my alma-mater by the disciplinary panel of the institution because he mobilised students for the peaceful NLC protest over the sudden increment of fuel pump price.

Peaceful protest is not a crime in any sane society and why would that of Ameh Destiny be different?

The likes of Late Obafemi Awolowo And Nnamdi Azikiwe Zik of Africa fought and protested for the liberation and emancipation of this nation and Africa students during the colonial era.

Segun Okeowo of this world also fought and led many struggle for the emancipation and liberation from the shackles of the oppressor.

I therefore call on civil society, human rights activist, union leaders both present and past, the leadership of National Association of Nigeria students national body led by Comrade Aruna Kadiri Nans Jcc Fct Axis led by Comrade Abubakar Yahaya M and other concerned comrades to rise and come to the rescue of this young man.

Lol....Bloody civilian (am jst kidding). It is called conversion course. You dont convert to be "a fully commissioned officer" but to be a regular combatant. Short service commissioning or regular combatant commissioning are all commissioning in to Nigerian army. You also dont loose seniority as it is mostly done alongside your promotion exams (normally captain-to-major). Nice info bro!

Things aren't always perfectly done with the Army, just wait a few days and you should get d pin in a major branch; you might start with a branch near army headquarters.

DSSC is 6 months training
SSC is 9 months training

DSSC will graduate you a full lieutenant with a pay around and above 150K. Its also for professional courses and is very competitive.

SSC will graduate you with 2nd lieutenant(rank before lieutenant) and pay around 130K. Its for any degree and less competitive as available slots are more than those for DSSC.

Yes, there is risk of being posted to conflict areas. Every job has risks.

True, military jobs should not desired because of lack of a job. Usually these ones are the ones who end up spoiling the respective forces.

The standard of discipline keeps falling because most successfull candidates knew one general or senator etc. and not because its their first love.

I met this girl (kelechi) just 3weeks after we started lecture in ma first yr in university of port harcourt. I wouldn't call it a perfect relationship but I love this girl like I've never loved anyone in this life. kelechi would say she loves me but she doesnt know how to show it. and truly sometimes i wonder if she really lovee me at all. I wonder if there's ever anything like that cus I've never heard of it. this time she went for IT in abuja where she now works at NNPC towers. at first it was all cool cus I called everyday and sent her sms but this she does once in a while and until I ask her to send me sms she doesn't. recently she just called me and said she doesnt feel any connection with me anymore, I asked why she said noting.

few weeks lata she stop talking to me, doesnt take my calls or sms for like 3weeks then lata she sent me a text that I should move on with my life. that she feels am cheatin on her.

this hurts me to my born I swear cus am so deeply inlove with this girl and I dont know y she's acting like this. I feel bad cus this is not how I roll normally but I cant believe the girl I fell for is playing with ma heart.
