olujastro: Strange question. It's too complicated to answer. It all depends on what your plans of staying here are, and I'm not in your mind to know your almost every plan, things you plan to spend on/shopping, accommodation plans for 3wks. Can't help you plan your expenses so I'm surprised at the question. Just have more than enough money cos Norway is an expensive country. Google can easily tell you that. Lol... People can ask kindergarten question sha |

olujastro: I would easily recommend Germany ahead of Norway. Germany is the heart of the European economy largely built on manufacturing, while Norway is an oil based economy with little or no manufacturing sector. This means a form of 'employment recession' during bad times such as now when oil prices are low. It gets so bad that even part time jobs are very difficult to get during the lows. Stavanger is the oil capital of Norway so that should tell you it's highly affected too. Let me take this chance to advise people not to borrow money to come hoping to easily pick up a job. As it stands, there's a high probability you'll be miserable after returning d loan. Several examples abound here.
For certificate recognition, each country recognises its own certificates first before that of other countries provided the jobs are available. Norway particularly gives preference to their graduates here.
Germany gives 18 months post study visa while Norway now gives 1yr with stringent conditions I already told you before. So that should easily inform your choice.
Best of luck! Word. I studied in Norway and moved to Sweden upon graduation as the swedes are more liberal and has less stringent immigration policy. Also the Swedish economy is more comprehensive than Norway's. Norway is richer though |

How can it be when you have done 100L in a university that you are qualify for an admission. Have you done research yourself to find out if the information is true or not....Before you come to cast aspersion on an information because it does not augur well with your imagination do simple google research. Rapahel1116: Norway or Germany which is better in terms of high paying jobs For low and middle skilled jobs I think you earn pretty more in Norway because there is not much difference in income levels in Norway as the income gap is narrow. But if you are highly skilled professional or CEO in Germany, I think you earn more in Germany and coupled with the Comparative low cost of living in Germany, you end up having good bucks left with you at the end of the day. |

Pls with just o level result alone can one gain. Admission on. Norwegian. Universities.
I have never been to a. University. Before .do I stand a chance to getting admission? Pls help me with answers Sorry you can not. In addition to your o-level you need atleast 100 level University education. You can look at neighboring Sweden. With just waec you can get admission. But know that Sweden charges TUITION FEES. The least you get is SEK90k~3.1million per year. Canada too offers BSc admission for Nigerian waec holders. Tuition also applies |

whizfache: Thats true bro, norway tuition is low as 23,000 naira when converted to naira Norwegian public universities don't charge tuition fees. I guess the amount you stated is student government contribution. whizfache: but the living expenses is very high, Agree. whizfache: for a year one most hold atleast close to 1.5 million naira to live a normal life It is actually more than that even for students. As of today students need to document 3.8million naira as living expenses for 1year. Non-students need times two of this to be granted a resident permit to seek employment. whizfache: but all d way norway is a great country, jobs are in norway for students, atleast it will reduce d load I agree 100%. The best country in Europe in my opinion. Probably only Switzerland could rival Norway. Unemployment is the lowest, salaries are amazing in a way that the most menial of jobs could afford u a comfortable living. |

DAVECENA: One thing people don't understand about studying in tuition free countries is that the standard of living is kinda obnoxious. E.g Norway,Germany and public universities in some Scandinavian nations. So before you apply, have it in mind that what you may spend annually is much more than you expected. I guess u wanted to mean COST OF LIVING. You are not the first Nigeria I came across miswriting standard of living when they want to mean how expensive the country is to live in - COST OF LIVING . They are two different meaning. Don't know why (Nigeria) people misuse it. Laughable tho BTW the standard cost of living in Germany is not "obnoxious" as you said. Germany is actually one of the cheapest places to live in Europe |

"Dear Ronke, Thank you for your interest in the University of Stavanger and your application. As a non-EU/EEA student you are not able to upload the required documentation. Everything has to be send to the university with post or courier. Please find detailed information as well as the University’s address here: http://www.uis.no/ noneudocumentation""........

pachman: Thank you Would try to check up some Please do you know what schools in particular It seems you just want to be told what you want to hear. You come across as someone that can easily be deceived. Listen, as a NON-EU citizen, you must pay 1) Admission application fee (SEK900) 2) Tuition fees (ranges from sek90,000 to sek150,000 depending on the program) Yes Scholarships are available just like they are available in the UK and Canada but sholarships are reserved for very academically - talented students. In this case if you made first class honors, you may stand a chance. But having first Class doesn't guarantee you anything cos competition are stiff from around the world and number of potential winners are very limited. |

Kondomatic: I didn't say we are God, did I?
And you should know the answer to your question if you are a Christian but if you're not then I don't see why it should bother you... But are we not like him (likeness) and his image.? There also is a verse in the bible where we are told we are gods. Since we are like him, why do other life forms(viruses, hiv, ebola, mosquito etc) which he created in the first place, feast on humans(his image and purpose of creation) bringing death and misery. Please explain to me why these happened if we are the sole purpose of his creation, if we are like him and the apple of his eyes |

Kondomatic: Bro. You are created in God's likeness. God is almighty so you should at least be mighty because you are his image.
Why should I pray the ......... Prayer for self-care when the step by step guides on how to care for both my physical self and inner self are written in the bible?
Why should I pray the ......... Prayer for peace when I already know what it takes to be a peaceful person?
Why should I pray the ......... Prayer for self-worth when it is something that I can work on and come out with beautiful testimony?
I don't get what you mean by when you're in pain, if it is physical pain then I will go to a hospital and get myself treated. Jesus wasn't kidding when he made a doctor an apostle.
But if it is psychological as in trauma or something like that then maybe I may need a little prayer, good counselling etc.
Faith without work is nothing and we sometimes rely unreasonably on prayer when a little effort from us can get us out of our problem.
Some prayer points these days makes the unbelievers question our sanity. Why do viruses like HIV, Ebola etc and other parasites and bacteria live off humans (God's likeness and image) causing misery and death. Don't tell me viruses can survive and thrive inside God too |
