Mhen, this weekend seems a tricky one. I'm trying to get my calculations right and on time.

When it comes to misplacing phone, I think I am very good at that. Of all the phones I have used, it's only 2 that I didn't misplace. Funny enough, they've never picked my pocket, those phones just happen to fall off, because when I misplace them, I am never in a rush or hassle with ppeople for bus.

But let me share a story, few years ago, in my school, we attended a party (more like gate crashing) and that day food was surplus that we all ate to our fill, in fact the groom's brother was going around to make sure everyone had eaten. While doing that he stopped and was talking to someone, and he was wearing 'buba' (a kind of yoruba native shirt with pockets by the side). In one of the pocket was his phone.
Unknown to him, he was standing beside a pick-pocket, and the 'pick-pocketer' just dipped his hand to steal the phone.
As he was bringing the phone out (in fact the hand is almost out of the pocket) the phone, fortunately for the groom's brother and unfortunately for the thief, the phone just rang! O boy con see beating nah! After students (co gate crasher) finished beating the guy, he was then handed over to school security, who in turn handed him over to the police.

Hehehe!

Contract inflation and corruption have really affected this country. Did you notice where the man said that when they told him the there are 800 students, he thought he won't be able to afford it. But when they told him it is only 230 thousand naira, he felt relieved and even decided to do it in other schools.
Thus a sandal must have gone for about ~290 naira which is around the price it sells for in the market. Thanks to the principal who didn't inflate the price, and to other Nigerians who wants the best for this country.

I pray other politicians can replicate the action of enrolling their children in public schools, and further pay attention to the development of such schools.

Education is the key to national development and like Victor Hugo said "he that opens the doors of a school closes a prison."

I'm not in support of all the ignorants, hate, and ethnic biasness displayed on this forum, but to blame the attacks on Nigeria on this is sheer fallacy. If Nigeria is a better place, why would any one want to travel to a third world country like India? (Except for maybe tourism i.e see the Taj Mahal). Whether you lie it or not, until we put our house in other, we will only be treated like 'cancer' out there, and the public washing of the linen will continue. Because poverty begets hate, and that hate begets a reaction.

Medicine after death. Anyway, I don't blame them, I blame Nigeria and Nigerians that have not deemed it fit to give themselves and other citizens a comfortable environment to dwell. Rather than develop our country, we are only interested in duping, cheating and making life miserable for one another. We only want to make money and then oppress our neighbours. We want chieftaincy titles to be conferred on us, so as to show the world that 'we get mouth' while development is as far to the community as pluto is to the sun. We want to become public office holders, not to serve, but to have our own share of the national cake. Until we change our attitude, until we realize that the only way we can truly enjoy is not by 'escaping' to another country where you may be treated like Kunta Kunte, but by making Nigeria into a place of our dream, a place all the countries of the world would be envious of. A place where the rule of law will be rooted. A place where we will all truly be our brother's keeper, else, especially the way things are turning out, Ugandans and even Somalians would start insulting and referring to us as cancerous elements in their society.
