I'm in total support of this because it will give me the chance to fight my company seriously.

The company has been deducting tax on my behalf for quite some years now and I've never seen the record.

It was funny when the Human resource department called recently to ask for my TIN to include on a document.
I was surprised � How can you claim to be helping me pay my tax and you don't have my TIN number?

Blame the government, not your company. If you should inform the tax office of your company not paying tax. Instead of going after your company, the tax office will sell you out.

So it's the government to blame not the company that refuses to pay tax.

Every country protects herself from international market forces e.g border closure. So don't bring in market forces when it favours who you support or your tribes leader. What should concern us is our country, NIGERIA. Why are we not bringing in international market forces in everything but selected items. If we bring in comparative advantage and international market forces, then rice will be sold at international market price - thus rice will be about #10K per bag.

Aren't you aware of the Offshore and inland basin Production sharing contract signed recently by Buhari in England. Please find out the details of the production sharing contract. You will know that production is below $20 per barrel

The oil industry isn't for the faint hearted.

The production cost per barrel for most oil firms is below $20. While they sell above $50. So they make over profit. They and the Nigerian government are just too exceptionally greedy. Otherwise 90% of oil casual workers are supposed to be staffed, with full healthcare and pension benefits.

So don't be deceived, oil companies are making it.

I think the oil bill - deep offshore and inland basin Production sharing contract,
signed into law, some days ago is making oil majors angry. They are producing below $10 per barrel and are eating alone. Contract and casual workers are used as slaves to maximize their profit. Now that government wants to share the excess profit, the oil majors aren't happy.

They are all threatening to quit. Let them go, so others can come in.

Greedy Oil majors: Total, Chevron, Agip, Shell etc

The #1000 is called service charge. In some Estates they pay nothing less than a #100K per month for security, light, water, etc.

If Estates charge, why won't your landlady charge for service and make little profit. She sees U as a threat that is threatening her service charge.
