England is not Germany nor is it America, the policemen will face the full wrath of the law
All three countries are different in some ways but they all share the same mentality. This is why there is some sort of order in their society. I've lived in all three countries, so i'd know. Follow the rules, shut your mouth and you won't have a problem.

He is by law entitled to an explanation as to why he is being arrested. You don't just scream orders and expect the man to lie down like a dog
Yes he is. When i get pulled over by the cops or if i am walking on the streets and a cop stops me for my ID, i don't ask why. I give him my ID first and then ask why later. In this case, i will get down, then ask why. That is how it's done everywhere that i have been. He is lucky, if it were the German politzei, they would have almost crippled him before he would have the nerve to ask why. Do what you are told first, then ask why later. They are an extension of the law. People need to understand. And we didn't see the beginning of the video, so we don't know how it all began.

No it's not. The very first thing you do is obey whatever legal directive a law enforcement officer tells you. You and i know that if that guy was in Nigeria, he would have gotten down as soon as a policeman tells him to.

When I say God punish Nigerian Army some idiats will say God bless them
It is not a Nigerian army problem. It is a Nigerian mentality issue. The Soldiers are not from somalia; they are Nigerians who grew up in Nigeria. This is what happens when the citizenry condones and accepts a jungle justice mentality. The fact that the General is trying to justify his actions says a lot about the way Nigerians think.

Nzepresh:
...Flogging women on peaceful protest? Abeg does this temperamental man have a wife and was he given birth to by a woman? What is really happening in this country?
Your reasons for not flogging the women is absurd. The only reason that should be put forth is that it's because they are human beings with rights. That and that alone is the only reason. Are you saying that if they were not women it would be ok? Anyway, i don't really see a problem here. This is what happens when a people have a jungle justice mentality. So, carry on people. All hail Nigerians.
RomanceRe: My Good Friend Has Slept With The Girl I Want To Marry, What Should I Do?‎ by banmee(m): 1:47am On Mar 10, 2016
AlexReports:
A blog reader just sent this:‎

I have this friend whom I never had plans of dating when we met but we got close. I went out with her to see a friend, though she believed so much in me which usually makes her to seek my decision for anything. ‎

On this Faithful night, I was with her in a friend's place whom I usually let my girls sleep over his place or let them have fun with him. When the guy (James- not real name) saw her he was practically all over her and eventually invited her inside but before she went in she was looking at me for a rejection sign or reaction but I did nothing.

After about 30mins she came out of the room with the guy (James) only for her to tell me she had slept with the guy that she would not have if I told her what I was up to. I felt sad but did not confront the guy because we were close. From that moment it dawn on me that I was loving this same girl (Anita -not real name).

James was not interested in a relationship with Anita because he was already married. Now my challenge is that I have not slept with her but we seem to be both in love. Even her parents are known to me well and I desire to marry her but the thought of my friend (James) haven slept with her which ofcourse he will play a good role in my wedding kills me silently.

Do I still go ahead and propose to her since we are now dating or she won't be a wife material?

The truth is that James is not aware yet we are now dating, Anita tells me everything and has long apologised.

What should I do? Do I go ahead with her or should I seek someone else?

I love Anita, I believe Anita loves me, James is my pal whom I believe will feel guilty if he finds out he actually slept with a girl I finally wish to marry,

Please your advice sir or from other readers
OP, you mumu i swear.

HKN musician David Adeleke popularly called Davido shared this cute photo of him and his daughter on his Instagram page. But.. what the hell is that little girl thinking? can you caption it? For me its 'when will daddy leave me to suck my mum's glands, am hungry!'..lol

https://www.instagram.com/p/BCvdM-hKUGb/?taken-by=davidoofficial
I never wanted to reveal this, but Davido saved my life last year. I was in a coma for six months and there was nothing the doctors could do to revive me. One day, one of the nurses decided to play one of Davido's songs and to God be the glory, i got up, walked to the side table where the CD was and switched it off. The song was so bad that i had no choice but to get up. Praise the lord.

It's actually selfish of the man uprooting his family over and over again.

What of the children?
Having to start the whole process of making new friends and forming new attachments over and over again? I think it affects kids psychologically.

Everyone needs stability in their lives, especially at a young age.

Your friend should learn that money isn't everything.
Didn't you notice the movements were vertical movements of progression rather than lateral stagnant movements?

Don't you just hate it when people say "this is Nigeria"? It's like saying "we are phucked up and we are ok with it" I responded to a comment that said that an expired license cannot influence an accident. Only a foool would think and say that. Again, "In a normal society, when your drivers licence expires, your driving record is re evaluated and you are sometimes re tested to ensure you can operate a POV"

Lol at you trying to educate me. It's like a pre historic man trying to educate someone in the 21st century. grin

Not on the database of drivers who's licenses were valid. You license is valid until it goes over the valid date. I can't believe i am explaining this.

In a normal society, when your drivers licence expires, your driving record is re evaluated and you are sometimes re tested to ensure you can operate a POV. In an abnormal society like Nigeria, people like you don't understand this hence your question. I can't believe 28 people liked your post. It underlines the mentality in Nigeria. I really fear for una.

An expired drivers licence is same as not having a drivers license.

Theres no need having a driver license because the FRSC can't question the driver of a minister.
Good point. This is what happens in a lawless society.

In a region where people worship money..

where a 30yr old man can tell his father/elders to keep quiet cos he has money during town/family meetings.

where a man leaves home.. only to come back 6months later with Jeep and exotic luxury items without anyone querying his source of wealth..but instead d igwe bestows on him a chieftancy title

and d list goes on & on..

how then do you expect them not to go into crimes?

there's never a shortcut to success.. even if you find one, it won't last and will end you up in disgrace
What do you mean "in a region"? I think you mean " in a country.

My fellow human beings you can see that we all need to be prayerful. These victims like us saw 2015 only to enter 2016 to die. This life seems to be a marathon from year to year. Passing a year is like passing through a lap. Not everyone will make the next lap and those who do eventually make a lap might not make the next. It's so unfortunate that people die more at the early and late stages of the year. So many people have died this early stage of this year 2016 and watch during the ending of the year you will hear many more. Some of these guys must have heard of the minister of labour and employment death and felt remorseful not knowing they will be next. Another one has happened or will happen and we will hear about it maybe tomorrow or next. May the good LORD have mercy on us all and also guide and protect us.

May the souls of the departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen!
Prayer ko...prayer ni. God can't help Nigerians until they help themselves.

Nigerians usually want to associate themselves with what's good but don't want to do things that are good so as to be recognised as good people.
