Family › Re: 5 Interesting Reasons Why You Should Marry A Typical Nigerian Woman. by banmee(m): 7:57pm On Mar 12, 2016 |
ashewoboy: Nigerian women are not only very beautiful but wise. People often say Nigerian women love money, the question is, who doesn’t? Every woman wants a man that can take good care of her and Nigerian women are no exception. For those of you, who may be looking for a strong reason to get hitch with a Nigerian woman. Check out the reasons.
1. Culinary prowess: Cooking from an early age is something most Nigerian moms teach their young daughters and like they say, pratcise makes perfect. So you are sure to have your Nigerian wife thrill you everyday for the rest of your life with the most delicious meals. All you have to do for this is show them love.
2. Homely:An average Nigerian girl is groomed from birth to be everything a man would expect of a woman and a wife. She is taught what it takes to keep a home from a tender age. Being submissive to her husband and treating him like a king is part of what she is made to learn from her mother. Marriage requires a lot to work and a Nigerian girl knows that and she’s ready for it.
3. Family-Oriented: This is an important thing to every Nigerian. A Nigerian knows what it takes to uphold values and what that means is that, your Nigerian wife before marrying you would have been taught to stick with you and make your marriage work as divorce is not part on the Nigerian culture. Therefore, an average Nigerian woman would do all she can to make her marriage work – if she perhaps want out, she must have exhausted all means of fixing the marriage.
4. Hardworking: A Nigerian woman wouldn’t sit back and allow you do all the work. She has been groomed to contribute her own quota to the success of the family. They are taught to be self-reliant and useful.
5. Beautiful and smart: Whether they have formal education or not, an average Nigerian woman is smart. In fact the typical Nigerian situation has taught all its citizens to be the best they can be. And to add to it, a Nigerian woman is beautiful. Genevive Nnaji, Omotola Jalade, Stella Damasus all give credence to this.
Source: http://www.informationng.com/2016/03/5-interesting-reasons-why-you-should-marry-a-typical-nigerian-woman.html As far as i can tell from your list, there is no reasons to marry a Nigerian woman. Every culture has all these attributes you have listed. Heck, as a man, i know for a fact that i can cook better than most Nigerian women. Being homely is not a reason also. It is just another way of saying you want a housemaid. Nigerian women being beautiful and smart is also not another reason. Have you ever been to Sudan or Ethiopia? I have. If you ever decide to visit those two countries, you will revisit your opinion that Nigerian women are beautiful. All these attributes are attributes you can find anywhere in the world. |

phineas: @seun this culture of naming and shaming even of royalty on this forum is wrong.
You are starting and promoting a culture where authority is demeaned even royalty and this is the legacy you are building consciously or otherwise.
For all those speaking I'll of this woman on this day,I suggest you examine your intentions.if you speak for justice from a heart that seeks good then may the Lord and your conscience be the judge,
but for those who speak in malice, envy and the pull him down syndrome to the very ears of this woman without validating these claims, remember as you throw stones at another on the day of her joy, that on the day and the place of your promotion, may your secret sins not be remembered, may they not be displayed to the whole world and may you definitely not be called to account for your every indiscretion because that is the seed you sow here, and the stones you have thrown at this woman.
@seun I ask you to examine again, is this the legacy you want to leave behind? What is this one talking about? Did you just join nairaland or is this your first time using the Internet.? |

musicwriter: You've never seen anything yet!. If you know what's going on in the sciences, like; chemistry, physics, you'll cry.
Recently, someone here on Nairaland posted a thread the other day lamenting on how teachers he hired to write the JAMB exams for him failed the exam. LOL!!. A teacher failing his own subject!!. What else do we need to know education in Africa is a big joke?.
This's why we need to revert back to our natural way of learning, i.e studying in our native languages. Asians in the eighties discovered the problem with western education and they made a U-turn, took their destiny in their own hands, and reverted back to their natural way of learning. And since Malaysians, Indonesians, Thai, e.t.c made this decision their fortunes changed, and they sped fast towards development leaving us behind.
Western education isn't made for your own good. It was created at the late 1800 century when colonial powers were under pressure from the African people to leave Africa. But, before leaving, they figured out that if they left us without teaching us their languages they'll not have any means of exploiting us in absentia. Therefore, they made sure they installed their model of education all over Africa, forcing the African people and making it a point for every African school to adopt English or French as a compulsory subject in schools (Rome previously used this as a strategy for destroying culture during their hay days in Europe). When the language of a people is destroyed, their culture will also be destroyed over some hundreds or thousands of years. Get it?. Meaning that our native languages would go into extinction over a hundred or thousands years, and we'll practically become foreigners in our land!!. This way they'll constantly create brainwashed Euro-Afro hybrid elites (neither European nor African in mindset) who act as a conduit for further exploitation of Africa. This's like training a puppy (dog) to behave exactly how you want it to behave.
Ultimately, what western education brings to a people are; first: destruction of language, second: destruction of culture, third: intellectual slavery, fourth: poverty.
The only way we can have true education and development in Africa is to abandon western education and create our own model of education. Same way we abandoned Hollywood movies in the early 90's and created our own movie industry (Nollywood). Yes, we can!!. By the way, the ''wood'' in Nollywood itself is a signature of intellectual slavery, a product of western education.
I grew up researching this topic (pedagogy) without even realizing what I was doing, cause I was born in a library. I've spent years researching this stuff, and literally shed tears the day I realized I' am an educated fool. Then, I began to debrainwash myself.
If I have my way and get a record label that believe in my type of music, I'll change the way education happen in Africa.
Western education is a scam!!!!. It wasn't created for our own good!.
For details, see the part 1 and 2 of this link http://www.africason.com/2015/10/intellectual-slavery-most-dangerous.html How about you start the revolution and start communicating in your native dialect and let's see how far you'll get. |

namedonfinish: oga teacher, can u please point out my so called "mistake" according to you instead of ranting....
And since u also find it hard to comprehend, may be I should explain to you slowly... I didn't in anyway blame the teachers, but I am wary of the the system that allows everyone become an overnight teacher.. For years, there as been an oversight of the teaching profession... unlike other professions that has restrictions, the teaching profession rarely bares unneccessary filtration.. Most graduate suffering from unemployment sees teaching as the next available option, whereas most of them don't know the ethics of the profession.. So you see my dear, I think the professional bodies involved should arise to this clarion call before issues get more complicated.. Aunty mi, it's "in flux" not "in flock". |

You are criticizing teachers, meanwhile your English is no better. Stop blaming teachers. This problem is a Nigerian thing. More than half the populace have no grasp of the English language nor how to use it properly. |

The suffering is just too much. You are funny. No one has the dexterity to lead Nigeria. It is just not possible. If it was, it would have happened by now.
