It's all about God !
Yes but it is more about how you use the opportunities given to you. For example, going to college is an opportunity. In some countries, when they see people in other nations attending college they call them lucky because they don't have that opportunity. We are all lucky at one point in our lives. Only problem is we never use it.

U are the one that is plain silly. And what is wrong in desiring to celebrate in a night club after victory he is optimistic about. It seems as if u are aving a very boring pathetic life.
You will keep having these kind of leaders in Jesus name. Say amen.

Are you sure you are normal? Did you read the headline? Is that what leaders should be talking about? The fact that you don't understand this is shocking to say the least. What a m.oron.

BusinessRe: Five Businesses You Can Run With Your Job by banmee(m): 12:04pm On Mar 14, 2016
aprokomania:
As a follow up to the post I wrote yesterday, I will be presenting a list of five businesses that you can conveniently run together with your job. The aim is to ensure you build something you can fall back on in the event that you lose your job or you are retired without a plan.
1 Real estate you do not have to be a mogul in the real estate business to do it on the side. I am sure many people are pretty intimidated by such a large sounding word but it is not as difficult as it is made to seem. With a small initial capital you can do some prospecting and buy a property of your choice. One thing you keep in mind is that land always appreciates and upon your retirement, if you have enough in your portfolio, you can always sell to make a tidy profit. You can even have a personal land acquisition scheme where you will save a certain amount yearly and at the end of each year you buy a property. It may be a bit inconvenient at first but imagine if you do this for 30 years, it means you automatically have 30 pieces of real estate and the profits you will make upon each will be mind boggling.
2 Blogging For the technologically savvy, you may decide to go into Blogging. One thing you must take into notice however is that you have to put a lot of efforts in it at first and on the long run you can make a lot out of it. You do not have to blog about entertainment, but you can write on anything that interests you and still make a living from it. As with other offline businesses, dedication and consistency are key to achieving success.
3 Poultry The economy of Nigeria is fast moving from an import dependent economy to one focused on products made here in Nigeria. The focus now is on agriculture and poultry farming is booming. If you are meticulous and interested in animal breeding, poultry farming is your best bet. On a small scale or on a large scale the size of your investment determines the profit you will reap.
4 Fish farming also in line with the point above, fish farming is another lucrative area of agriculture you can conveniently pursue along with your job. You may even decide to do it in your backyard or in an abandoned secure parcel of land. Dedication is key to being successful in it.
5 Importation Though there are various restrictions on import right now, there are still some items that can be legally imported and which also have a large market. At the convenience of your home, you can order for these items and they will be delivered to your doorstep. All you have to do is locate a market and supply as is needed. There are a number of free reports online that can help you in your quest to succeed in this business. Ensure however that you are safe while shopping online by going through the security tips from your financial institution.
You can go through the points above and when you see the area that interests you, make sure you carry out adequate research and do not rush into it.
Do share this article with a friend, you never know who will need it.
Cheers.

Jungle justice is part n parcel of nigeria now it seems... If we on nairaland are against it ... The general populace love it. Federal govt and all state govt need to sensitose ppl on it. Like eg arrest 4 okada men der... Torture dem.... Truth wil come out den catch said culprits.... Judge shld sentence dem within days to 5 years in prison.... Keep doing this til wen next a mob catch thief and say no kill am oh make police come
Who says Nairlanders are against it. Have you just joined NL. It depends on who is caught and what they are perceived to have done. This is the only thing that determines if Nairalanders support it or not. Nairalanders are Nigerians and Nigerians support Jungle justice. It just depends on the day and time.

Common sense is kicking in finally. How did we let our lives depend on foreign things and these people ban our product or avoid it when we export. However, brave decision by this government the right one as well.
You've only read one story and already jumping for joy. You forget that it is common sense to do so. Nigerians don't have power. Does that mean they would live in darkness? The obvious thing to do is switch to candles and lanterns and if you are bouyant enough, gasoline generators. But, the fact that you have found alternatives in gasoline generators and or candles does not mean it is a good thing. Efficiency is reduced, quality is below par and often times more expensive than energy produced through turbines, solar and wind. No nation can survive or grow exponentially with these policies. The laws of supply and demand must hold sway.

I guess you've never met unexposed foreigners living in their own country. Take the Chinese / Koreans for instance.

Leadership has nothing to do with exposure. Nigerian leaders are exposed but refuse to do what is right by their people. Judging society by their actions can't work.
Are you phucking kidding me? Where do these leaders come from? From the same society you claim does not matter in this context. Lets say a company exists and needs accountants but the society can only provide primary school leavers. How do you think the company would be able to balance it's books? How can you have a great country when most of it's people still live in the stone age mentally? You realise the country would have to select it's leaders from the society, right? You have people here on NL taking sides with people like wike and Amaechi when they should be condemning them. Or people condoning the actions of so called governors like the one from Ekiti. What do you think they'll do when they themselves become leaders? And later they'll be wondering why things have not changed or gotten better. How can it? When you have people who think it is ok to defecate in public, kill people summarily, give police bribe publicly, etc then nothing can get better. Like i have said in my previous post, i am not saying some form of craziness does not happen in other countries but the reactions of the vast majority of the society will give you an idea of how that society is. There is a front page topic right now saying Amaechi will club in wike's village and there are a lot of Nairalanders hailing the comment by the minister. A MINISTER for God's sake. If the mentality of Nigerians were exposed, by now, it would have reflected in it's society. How long do you think it should take before progress is shown in your opinion? A 100 years?

No. Seriously. Step away from the ones who've mixed up with strangers and you'll find them just as bad, if not worse than equally unexposed Nigerians.
I don't think you fully understand what you are saying. An unexposed society is easy to identify. The way you can identify it or gauge it is by the society itself. The way Nigerians think is phucked up which is evident in the fact that in more than half a century they have not found one passable leader. How can they? The leadership they choose will always be based on the way they think and approach issues.

You lie. A woman will marry anyone who can provide her comfort. That is the primary motivation for any woman. Come to think of it since dem de probe all this people, have they convicted anyone or recovered any money? Not even from the most critized arms deal the story is gradually losing popularity, and may soon be forgotten. This is because gej did not start it and the man from daura is clueless. I have notice that the only successuf achievement carried out by this man are those from gej ( TSI, BH agitation and subsidy removal). If gej have written 2016 budget before leaving office all this hullabalo about it would not have risen.

If buhari can channel all this energy and ideology into the economy, believe me,he will make 1dolar=1naira and fuel to sell for 50# per litre. But he cant because he his no clue

I still wonder what type of change people were clamoring for, all because of tribalism they kept criticizing Jonathan. Thank God we are seeing the change people want
People are criticizing Jonathan because he was weak, corrupt and ineffectual. Not because he came from a certain region. Do you honestly believe that if he actually did his job people would be unhappy with him? People in America still think fondly of Bill Clinton, even with the sex scandal. I honestly believe Nigerians enjoy the squalor they are experiencing. This is the only way i can justify their mentality.

You need exposure. Governors should not go around making donations. You all don't ask questions. Where is the money coming from? Is it his personal funds? How can he afford it? Is it from the state budget? If it was, was it budgeted for? If he is so compelled to donate money, for the sake of transparency, an NGO should be established where private organizations and citizens can contribute. That is how it is done. Remember, Dasuki went around donating to evey tom, dick and harry and people like you were congratulating him. What is the reality today? Not saying that in countries like America, governors may or may not do such things, but it is easy to track where the money is coming from. As far as i know, they don't. They are smart enough to avoid such things. Nigeria does not have such checks so it is easy to divert such funds for personal use as seen by the Dasuki saga. You guys need to wake up.

I didn't go from Nigeria. But according to google it's about 2300 miles between Nigeria and Ethiopia. This is about half of the distance from Nigeria to the U.S. Which means it is about 4hr long depending on which airport you fly in and out of.
