Thanks for your support and answers to my previous questions.
Please is there any issues in using angle iron to construct solar panel support instead of the standard supports, this is a ground mounted system, the angle iron will form slots that holds each of the solar panels, is there any issues in doing this?

Pls, I am looking to re-ignite this conversation on timers and contractors.

If I put my fridge for example on a timer plug, in order to maximize my consumption during peak sunshine hours ; how can I ensure that if NEPA brings light, that it can feed the fridge despite my timer plug haven switched off supply?

I'm sure there should be a way around it.

Buy a small DB and move such opportunist loads to it. Size it so your timer can carry the loads. Use an Automatic transfer switch to seamlessly alternate between PHCH and your inverter. See attached.

Your installation looks dangerous!
That's almost how mine looked until my watt meter melted.
I used the same 2-core cable like yours to connect the watt meter.

I now have 10mm/16mm cables, but the wires are everywhere I'll get a certified electrician to trunk everything.

Get a bigger backboard and an electrician to clean up and redo all your connections.

What i'm not sure of is if it's limited to the 150/70 series...

What is the best solar panel inclination on a horizontal surface? Just want clarification. I learnt its equal to ones latitude and Nigeria is (Lat. 9N , 8E) which means the solar panel must be at angle 9 degrees.

Hope that is ok for Abuja.

For fixed installations, use the latitude of ya location.
It's 5 degrees here in calabar.
Or you can adjust it twice a year (March & September) at +/- 15 degrees of ya latitude.

Series Parallel. 2 × 2 configuration, 2 strings. Ensure it doesn't exceed the max input voltage of your CC.
