PoliticsRe: Akpabio Commends Uduaghan On Government House by BarryX(m): 10:24am On May 13, 2013
Like seriously? I should pop champagne because he built a government house. How much does it cost? For somebody that leveled an airport hill with billions wont be surprised if this runs into dollarised billions from enough World Bank loans to increase the 'wonderful' debt base of one of the richest state in the country.
PoliticsRe: Lagos To Generate 50MW Of Electricity From Waste by BarryX(m): 10:09am On May 13, 2013
Hope it is sustainable in the long term. I think this has been on the pipeline for quite awhile. Also hope this will reduce the stench that oozes from that Olusosun dumpsite this rainy season... Billingsway Oregun always feel the killing stench effect.

Christianity EtcRe: Will Lagos Ever Have A Christian Governor? by BarryX(m): 10:01pm On May 12, 2013
All these posts about some set of people from a particular ethnic group being sophisticated and whatnot. Do they really say this on a real-life situation? I was raised in Lagos, and i can't remember anybody telling me they're more this & that than me Note: Omo full-blooded ND ni mi, Anybody that dares would explain to me how sophisticated he/she is and my replies alone will 'package' him where he belongs. NLers fantasy 'sophistications' led to this counter-post. PEACE to all One Love!!!

kulyie: your mind is so warped and obsessed with sex that you think if females are together then its all about lesbianism.this is still part of what i am saying please grow up.there is much more life has to offer one than so much ranting about marriage.afterall we see victims of the so called marriages every where this days, let me not even go to women that are married to men and the man is just a husband by paper instead of fulfilling his responsibilities as a married man all in a bid to be mr and mrs lagbaja
Please dear, you need to cool down biko, my mind is not "warped or obsessed" about SEX as you make it seem, Sex is not something I could be obsessed with, when I have Money in hard currency to be obsessed about, following the Almighty rule of Sweet life 3:16 "chase money and other things shall be added unto you. Don't sweat it, sex is the least of my problems . I was just trying to remind you that the more you "roll" with your girls emotions and affection has a way of throwing people off balance. lol- As for victims of failed marriages: Learn from other peoples experience and make your marriage a model for others to follow, a lesson from mum will go a long way BTW why dwelling on the negative examples of marriages, check around there are still more solid marriages waxing strong than divorce cases, that reminds me MINDSET. Growing up: I think I've grown enough to understand that we're all products of the Marriage institution including YOU. So why not respect your foundation unless you tell me otherwise, I will understand ! ***smiles**

PoliticsRe: Human-Rights Is Silent Over Nasarawa Police Killings : Why? by BarryX(m): 9:52pm On May 11, 2013
This is a pathetic case of inherent man's inhumanity. Imagine Policemen were killed and some Nairalanders were sorta justifying the killings. I am viewing this from another school of thought entirely which concerns an ordinary citizen, if a combined force of policemen, SSS can be sliced like fresh tomatoes in Nassarawa and Boko Haram has the effrontery to attack an Army barrack of all places and other host of attack on military facilities where the AK-47, sub-machine gun and the likes are then what is left of a citizen like myself with a kitchen table knife which do not extend few metres from my fist have to offer in an attack. I seriously think Life is the cheapest commodity in Nigeria, someone can sniff Life out of anyone and go scoth free even 'military personnels'. OH NIGERIA

RomanceRe: How I Taught My Boastful Date A Lesson by BarryX(m): 7:01pm On May 09, 2013
Since we're all viewing it from one particular angle, Why don't we try turning the tables (sorry for derailing thread) around as it relates to Ladies Bragging prowess. Dudes haven't you gone out on a date with a lady that brags like say tomorrow no dey and the most surprising of all is that their bragging is wonderfully coloured with pinky lies that they can't substantiate at least guys bragging rights are convincing and are true 80% of the time. TOPIC: The OP f**ked up with the thread BTW why has she gone underground since the dude replied her, I sincerely think that guy is real, Nairaland is two big a place to post some topics if they're REAL, Until the OP(popoowa) post ,I'm on the assumption that she has been busted big time.
PoliticsRe: Umeh Road Construction In Isoko-South L.G.A, Delta State (Pictures) by BarryX(m): 5:38pm On May 09, 2013
Why don't you guys wait till road construction is completed before the shout of Uhuru. We've heard of projects that took almost half a century to complete in Delta state pardon my hyperbolic statement but that's the best way I can put it.

FamilyRe: ~ Why Husbands int!mate With Their Maids ~ by BarryX(m): 12:20am On May 09, 2013
lorretta u: you're probably the kind of man who expects his wife to be faithfuk even when he's not there to play the husband role.gallivanting from country to country pillar to post.and expect a perfect wife at ur beck and call.and then if for one reason ur wife isn't able to play her own part,u justify ur cheating with the flimsy excuse of that particular inability.the truth is that I don't care what a warped mind like yours thinks of me.I'm perfect for the man who loves me.and know how to satisfy his every single minute need.and u know what makes it beautiful he does the same for me.so the earlier you learn how to give love, the easier it will be for u to receive love.most of u men don't love ur wives.when u get married it becomes a master servant relationship.and u start trying to justify ur stewpid actions.if u show ur wife love, she'll make ur home heaven on earth.so look for a wife not a wife servant.and u'll be surprised how happy you'll be.
So you're someone's wife ?? Why is your post riddled with insults from calling me "warped mind" to me "having stewpid actions"? That being said, if you understand English (borrowed Language BTW so I will excuse you on that), I said and I quote " why will my wife hire a maid when she has ME?" Having me here means I will be ready to commit and help around the house if occasion permits so your postulation of she being a servant actually holds no water. As for Justifying "stewpid actions", everybody knows cheating, infidelity or adultery is wrong and sinful coming from Christian background BUT all I am saying is simple "A Wife should NeVER give his Hubby an ExCuse whatsoever to do such with her Maid" the onus lies with the Wife Most especially. Thanks for reading! How are the kids?

PoliticsRe: Rochas Welcomes APC Governors In Imo (Pictures) by BarryX(m): 9:57am On May 08, 2013
"IT IS TRUE", Political space in Nigeria is really broadening by the day,Let us see what this alliance holds for the country politics , APC spreading their tentacles to the east says much about how the "progressives" are advancing from the regional bloc as it were to a more national look , hoping the PDP ain't relenting in forging a better party also. We from the neutral stand-point are watching and expecting politics to be played the way we see It played in stronger democracies around the world with strong internal democracy and sound political ideologies come 2015 that is if We still exist as a nation that is

PoliticsRe: If Disintegration Of Nigeria Happens, Which Region Do U Think Will Benefit by BarryX(m): 10:57pm On May 07, 2013
South-South
South-West
South-East
REASON:
Going by the present geo- political structure as it is- The South-South cum the Core Niger Delta state have the oil and gas coupled with already established underlying infrastructure of refineries, Gas plants e.t.c
Contrary to the popular belief that the Niger-Delta is not fit for agriculture, The Niger Delta States of Edo, Cross-Rivers and Northern part of Delta state can feed the new nation and possibly for exports if well harnessed
Most Banks supposedly owned by the easterners as one of the posters portrayed, the banks are actually owned by Ibos of Delta state e'g Jim Ovia , Tony Elumelu which I know from all indication might not part with the biafran extraction. Post continues !!!

With the way they are going, I won't be surprised if it turns out they advised their daughter to get pregnant sef.
There we go again "Shameless". Please don't Judge so you won't be judged ...I'm in the mood to judge you now if you let me ! It's always easy to play holier-than-thou in a fora like this so I am not surprised either !

ogugua88: I still can't believe this girl has two parents talking to the media about their teenage daughter's alleged sexcapades with a pop artist that started when she was a mere 17 years of age. Total humiliation for a check and "baby mama" status. Shameless family.

Paul, oya, go do the DNA test.
And they are Shamelesshuh I just saw a family that's there for their daughter and taking responsibility knowing fully well that the DEED has been done! So Shameless is a little bit off for me Sha
PoliticsRe: Nigeria & South-Africa Aim To Strengthen Ties by BarryX(m): 6:42pm On May 07, 2013
I listened to the speech Jonathan gave at the joint parliamentary meeting. To be fair I was kinda impressed with speech even though it lack the eloquence and so-called expressiveness that Nigerians are known for. But on the whole , the visit was worth it , again I just learnt that the balance of trade was in Nigeria's favour ! Is that really so or is it oil sales that swayed the trade to Nigeria?
