90 percent thats very ridiculous ,they need to understand that food and services prices in the west is more expensive than the south , i grew up in enugu and am from anambra honestly i have seen more poverty visiting asia and europe than in these two states. they use these figures to defraud international organisations to get aid for africa or what ever they call it when africa loses double of what it gets from the west.

enugu state has the biggest poultry farm in nigeria ,it is located in ngwo , also anambra and imo are know for fishing farming especially cat fish(point and kill fish) why do u think its most popular in igbo land . the whole southern states produces palm oil and groundnut oil, salt, beef(igbo goatee is genetically different from nothern goatee) and the earterners prefer the southern goat as the meat is more tasty , honestly the south can do without the north, turkey,garri, cassava,rice, tomatoe ,vegetables, i can go on and on, every region can survive on its own , biafran hunger did not affect everybody the war did not reach my village in aguata anambra and they wer just fine also parts of ogbaru,imo state were ok.

yes and no depending on what you want to do with it , i became and enterpreneur with less than 10000naira barely 4 years ago when i was still in uni and it got me very far in life far but then you can spend 400,000 a night

i grew up in enugu i dont think easterners are suffering , unless ur talking of not producing a president , apart from abuja i dont know any other non eatern state better than eastern states. from enugu to owerri ,umuahia, calabar, portharcourt these are among the top best cities to reside in in nigeria

am fed up with nairaland and ignorant people, yoruba is dominant in yoruba lands which include lagos, igbos is dominant in igbo land but hausa seems to be the most dominant language considering the population and the use of hausa in bbc . as for abroad i know igbo is more popualr in countries like u.s,canada, finland ,yoruba maybe be more popular in u.kand anyother place they have a high number of yoruba immigrants , this thread makes no sense.

music industry however use all the various languages and none can be said to be dominant ,artist that record in the west may use more of yoruba than others while artist that record in the east may use more of igbo. the first time i actually heard someone speaking yoruba is when i travelled to ogun state and lagos as a child besides that the languages i use to hear in the east wer igbo ,a little hause cause of various suya men security men and money exchanger which wer mostly from the north , and then efik/ibibio.

what we need right now in nigeria is SNC and test it for say 5 years if it does not work then total break up according to regions will be the next option but honestly as an igbo man i prefer to be in the same nation with akwaibom and cross river then ikwerre-igbo part of rivers , the ijaws can go their way cause they think we want their oil that was why they fought soo hard with nigeria against biafra. also i wont mind eastern part of kogi and benue state. INFACT JUST DIVIDE THE COUNTRY INTO MUSLIM NORTH AND CHRISTIAN SOUTH.

i have noticed that a lot of igbos in lagos ,abuja and abroad cant even speak igbo or have not even been to igboland , igbo parents need to do more to make their kids more igbotic, the yorubas seems to be doing a better job in terms of teaching their kids their language and culture.

i studied medicine in the states , even dummies can study medicine but i have been trying to perfect my skills on IT its very difficult but am closing in , and i noticed the more i build up my IT skills the easier my medical profession becomes ,even a dummy can study medicine after all nigerian student then we hardly read yet we top the class.
