amor4ce: Lies. Which kingdom did your people have when communities were independent and targeting themselves for food? Is there any non-Igbo reference to any Igbo kingdom prior to 1700?as a matter of fact the oldest kingdom in nigeria is nri kingdome , the oldest state known to produce metal objects is nsukka lets not talk about igbo ukwu , like i told you we had already evolded from kingdoms to democratic states before the british came and taught you that that means even uptil today you still dont understand how democracy works ,thats why nigeria is messed up today. |
amor4ce: About 150 years ago, and before the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914, your people were kidnapping themselves and stealing corpses for food. So how did kidnapping move from Yorubaland to the southeast? I want to see if I can understand the logic you used to arrive at that, if at all there's any.story igboland wqas the most organised into towns adminstered by the people for the people unlike yorubaland that was still under hausa fulanis and edo people . no wonder your elders still answer oba and still dress like hausa fulanis |
c.fours:you forgot his partner tahiri aliyu a yorubaman as for ajayi crowder he is from sierra leone , when igbos where adminstering yorubaland your fathers where still climbing trees, ask who the first vice chancllors of your schools are, lawyers, educated soldiers, civil servants before you knew what those where, we can dig up video of where akintola was complaining of igbo domination in the civil service. |
c.fours:yoruba means slave in case you dont know , its no secret that hausa fulanis enslaved yorubas and where selling you to portugeuse traders before the brithis came, also edos owned most part of your land then. ike i said thank the british for saving you, igbos evolved from kingdoms to democratic society soemthing even at this 21st century nigeria cannot get right. |
c.fours:and who will stop yorubas from killing your mothers in this 21st century |
c.fours:shows your an illiterate marry slessor stayed in calabar not igboland , we should however thank the british for saving you from slavery by hausa fulanis. |
c.fours:and how did yorubas sell their own people for slavery ? by buying and selling them or what? |
c.fours:kidnapping started in yorubaland for rituals , moved to south south for politics and ransome and then to south east for ransome , maybe we should find out why yorubas kidnap and kill people for rituals to the extent of killing your mothers and junior brothers all because of money rituals that is not even real , search within. |
c.fours:are igbos the reason yorubas are notorious for using their kidnapped victims for rituals? |
amor4ce: I didn't assert that Yoruba don't commit crimes but pointed out that your people export crimes much more than others, way much more.do you have statistics to prove that? so far the only stereotypes nigerians are known for are scammers and terrorist and tribal wars in northern part, yorubas are the reasns we are called scammers. nigerian scammers arrested in minesota Charged with one count of bank fraud and one count of access device fraud are Adekunle Kayode Ayeni, 27, Yewande Mariam Sholebo, unknown age, Adewale Alba Alli, unknown age, Olayemi Lateef Banjoko, unknown age, Idowu Ayinla Sadiq, unknown age, Abiodun Banjoko, unknown age, and Oyetoyin Oseni Atobatele, unknown age, all of Fridley; along with Bashiru Adelumola Fowoshere, 36, and Titilayo Abidewi Fowoshere, unknown age, both of Ramsey; Oriyomi Enitan Olowosago, unknown age, Brooklyn Park; and Ajibola Alli Fowoshere, 34, address unknown. Eight of the 11 were arrested last Friday, when they also made their initial court appearance. Three remain at large. http://naijanet.com/news/source/2009/sep/9/1000.html yorubas contribute more to the mess, not that this is united states lets not even bring up united kingdoms case The Nigerians and co-consiprators charged Wednesday—along with their ages, their cities of residence, and the specific allegations against them are: • Oladipo Sowunmi Coker, 29, a Nigerian allegedly possessed, stored, and trafficked more than 7,000 identification documents, means of identification, bank account numbers, and other information of victims to further the scheme. c.fours:theres no response for your ignorance , maybe google can help you. |
amor4ce: But your people have been caught various times for armed robbery in various states of the southwest. I've been buying Sun newspaper (Orji Kalu's) for years and majority of the crime reports as reported even by Igbo correspondents from the southwest feature Igbo culprits. My former home in Lagos was once robbed by Igbos. I had an Igbo/Anambra (son of a popular Nollywood actor) classmate from SS1-3 who opened my eyes to tribalism and was notorious for thinking up and carrying out dubious schemes and who, while assisting a teacher in recording scores on our report sheets dubiously got one of my exam scores reduced out of envy. Since that period I have associated Anambra with wayo! Remember that Igbo people kidnapped Mikel Obi's father in the north central region. This is in addition to the brazen crimes committed by your people in China (already notorious in Guangzhou) and southern Africa. Also, it seems it is your people that think through their anuses considering the recent reports of your people stuffing hard drugs in their anuses and the complaint by some Libyans in pre-Arab spring Libya again about your people using the anuses of goats to transport hard drugs.we all read sun news , we know yoruba armed robbers caught with enough weapons to start a war, weknow yorubas robbers that rob and rape travellers at night , the last gang where caught after they robbed and raped innocent students travelling trhough yorubaland , we also know yorubas put nigeria on the map as a nation of scammers and 419ers using marriage websites to con single lonely women. we know of daily reports of ritualism in yorubaland its no longer news with the latest being brothers that killed their brother. crime statistics still puts south east as the region with lowest crime rate so your fighting a lost battle. who are those looting nigeris money and reduced nigeria to what it is today? who are the oil cabal thieves? no matter how you want to lok at it yorubas have contributed largely to the mess nigeria is in the only good thing about nigeria comes from igbos- nollywood, first african country to manufacture cars, high educated class, enterpreneurship, sports legends , notable world ersonalities, i can go on and on. if we decide to follow yoruba route in dragging down the country nothing will be left. sun news they focus their news on the eastern region only rather than poking into what happens in other regions. |
c.fours:onithsa distributes to all the states in nigeria including south west states with ijebus making up bulk south west customers. as for your igbo friends they are not doing anybody a favour by coming back, they can abandon their families who cares. it wont reduce the population of onithsa residents and visitors daily. |
at least now nairaland girls will believe us when we say naija girls are not worth the stress ,only understand money language and cheat as much as the men , see even wor wor girls dey follow talk imagine what the fine ones will be dong. |
Ipetu-Ijesa, Osun State, was struck with tragedy when a hunter, Igere Segun, who caught his friend and his wife making love in his bedroom and killed the wife. It was learnt that Segun raged at the sight of the two lovers in his bedroom, got hold of an iron and aimed a strike at the head of his friend. The friend, however, dodged as the iron hits his wife, Aina, on the head. The friend immediately bolted from the room while the wife, who was bleeding profusely, was rushed to Olujobi Hospital in Ikeji Arakeji, where she died on the third day. Commissioner of Police, Osun State Command, Mrs. Kalafite Adeyemi, confirmed the incident, saying the police were on the trail of Segun’s friend, whose name he gave as Abiodun. According to the commissioner, “The incident happened last Thursday in Ipetu-Ijesa. It occurred between 10:50pm and 11pm. The husband had gone out, but unexpectedly came back late in the night. “Ostensibly, he caught them red-handed and in an attempt to hit the man with an iron rod, he hit the wife, who was rushed to Olujobi Hospital in Ikeji Arakeji… She died the third day. The man is in custody while we are on the trail of the runaway lover. The case is being investigated.” http://www.informationnigeria.org/2012/08/hunter-catches-his-wife-and-his-friend-having-sex-kills-wife.html |
ZUBY77: NDLEA released a note a few days ago. It said that out of 500 nigerians in thailand jails, 450 are from anambra state. Are you surprised?my friend why dont you stay in enugu and dig your boreholes , who begged you to come to onitsha. |
c.fours:stop beating around around the bush , how did you come up with the claim that people are afraid to travel to onitsha when its the most populated city in south east and anambra the most populated SE state, has the highest employment rate in the south east and host highest number of banks after lagos in nigeria? should i also remind you that this onitsha host the world largest market, an estimate of 3 million people come from accros the country and west africa to buy goods every single day in onitsha so Mr man i will ask you again how did you come up with your analysis of onitsha or are all those people ghost ? |
c.fours:how is that so? only a foreigner or an ignorant person like you dont know that anambra is the most populated state during christmas season, lagos, abuja and portharcourt are deserted during that period and of course we know yoruba people dont even dare venture into their villages during xmas and normal period thats why they all live in lagos while their towns and cities rot |
wheres that zuby boy he should come out and post rubbish again let me disgrace him. |
c.fours:my friend shut up , what have you done about armed robber s holding oyo, ekiti and osun, ondo hostage all the time , robbing banks for a whole day , was it not in the south west that people are robbed everyday especialy night travellers , the last group of robber s that raped female travellers where they not yorubas, slowpoke ,you think we dont know about yoruba crime cartel in u.k ,nothing have brought more shame to nigeria than yoruba 419 scam kartel thanks to yorubas now all nigerians are tagged scammers, tomorrow you will also claim that igbo politicians are responsible for the rot in nigerias system . some of you think with your anus maybe you where delivered through there.one person is kidnapped in onitsha after several kidnaping casses all over the country and all of a sudden anambra people are the problem with nigeria, mumu. if i or other anambra people decide to engage that enugu boy on issue of crime shame no go ever let am come back to this forum but whats the use, i rather deal with you ngbatis. |
na today we anambra people begin chop beaf? one thing you will notice, we just ignore haters. , more people have been klled by cultist in the south east by ...... you know the state than number of people kidnapped.we know the miscreants in onitsha and where they are from. let me not say more before i do more harm than good. |
pazienza: Eziachi said it all. Nairaland is the true reflection of how we feel about each other. To my igbo brothers, dayo and desola could be those your yoruba friends you like in life, you share a lot of secrets with them, yet in their innermost of heart, they hate your group and that invariably includes you, the Ojukwu and Aluko friendship comes in mind.exactly let the hate continue. it will help educate the azikiwes among the igbos that go about like nigerians are one. |
By DAUD OLATUNJI ABEOKUTA- A middle-aged man identified as Pastor Michael Oyewole was paraded along his accomplice, Matthew Akiode for being in possesion of a human skull allegedly exhumed in a grave on a land at Sabo in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun state on Tuesday. The pastor,32,who claimed to be a pastor at Ona-Ara mimo Cherubim and Sheraphim at Olomore few kilometres to the crime scene in Abeokuta was accused of inducing Akiode of committing the crime. Speaking with newsmen, Akiode, who confessed to the crime, however attributed his action to the economic situation in the country. He said” I used to work on his (pastor) site but he said I will make more money if I can get him human skull, so I felt it was an easy way of making money that was why I did it. “I am surprised his denying all of this when he was the actual person that thought me how to go about it, “he claimed. But when the pastor was however asked about his involvement in the crime, Pastor Oyewole denied that he ever sent Akiode to perpetrate the act. He said “I am man of God and pastor at Irewole Cherubim and Seraphim Church, car wash area. “I heal people with God’s name and not with human skull, his just telling lies and I don’t know what I have done to him Only God can save me now, “he said. While parading the suspects at the police command Headquarters at Eleweran in Abeokuta yesterday, the police Commissioner, Ikemefuna Okoye, said that the accused persons committed the offence at about 12 a. m while digging the foundation of a building. According to Okoye,at about 12 00 am hour, we got information about somebody who was digging a grave and we swung into action. “He never knew that eagle eyes were watching him in the process of removing the corpse. “We apprehended him immediately he severed the head from the body and he told us that it was one Pastor Oyewole that sent him, “ he said. Okoye however said that, the embattled pastor was arrested shortly after his partner in crime mentioned his name for encouraging him to commit the crime. He said that both accused persons would be charged to court as soon as investigation into the matter was concluded. The Commissioner, who assured members of the public to go about their normal business without fear, sought their cooperation towards effective policing of the state. |
make we hear word , yorubas are only good at complaining as if all these started today , when its time to take the bull by the horn and cut the dragons throat or uproot the weed from the soil they will disappear or sabotage it. being a human right activist or opposing curruption or incompetency cannot be solved by writting articles and shouting about it on social media(ask julian asange,el rufai, ekwueme, fela etc) it can only be solved by doing what have to be done(ask jerry rawlings ,kaduna nzeogwu, ojukkwu the man and several other violent and non violent revolutions around around the world ). |
ACN invited them so report them to tinubu or the media outlets there in osun or lagos who are more concerned about how Mr okoro quarelled with his wife in imo state. The lady was exposing her cleavage and the next thing they did was pop her bosoms out and forced the old bike man to suck on those bosoms the old man enjoy be that. |
am still trying to to figure out why the pharmacist was arrested alongside the 2 murderers, in nigeria and most countries you dont need prescription to buy drugs including the one they used to sedate her besides is he he owner of the pharmacy or is he just a sales person ? anyway lets watch and see how it ends but knowing nigerian police and our judiciary system he might end up in jail . if they send him to jail will they also arrest the hotel owner, the person that sold ribina to them , the person that sold rope or whatever they used in tying her ? . am wondering what they will charge him of . |
oduasolja: nobody was fighting to keep the igbos in Nigeria.confusionist , you fought what?who are the we? when you where crying that your own land were occupied by northern soldiers, your leaders cant even go out without hiding from them. |
oduasolja: its called dominoe theory fool. if one group leaves, then more than likely the other groups would leave, and then the north will be cut off from oil.who told you the north didnt want to leave , where they not the ones demanding for arewa ? if the problem is just the north they would have been dealt with long time ago, nigeria lost the war even with british support until the other eastern groups switched sides , nigeria lost at aburi but decided not to honour it because of british pressured them (of course it would be a nightmare for them british to deal with igbos ) and stop cursing i can see the mentioning of biafra brought out the wolf in you , exactly what we are trying to figure out. |
Onlytruth: You only supported my position. Thank you!some people are afraid of change and the unknown so they prefer to retain the status quo also shady and corrupt people/politicians including those of the ethnic group that want to secced might loose out so they make sure such things never happen , the rest are just mischievous kids like we see on nairaland that dont deserve attention. |
Onlytruth: Exactly my point! (though in reverse). That is why I don't understand why a rational person who feels dominated and marginalized, would still go to war, or threaten war each time the "dominating group" mentions secession or wants to secede.lol they dont see it that way , they are blinded by oil unfortunately the oils is not benefiting anyone rather it has become a curse. |
PhysicsQED: As far as I'm concerned European "tribalism" was quite significant but I think they reached a tipping point with WW2 and also got over it through the demarcation of mostly ethnically homogeneous countries. Also their tribalism is lessened by focusing on how they share more in common with each other than with the rest of the world. I guess you could say "pan-whiteness" mostly succeeded after enough blood had been spilled and pan-Africanism hasn't and possibly won't. When one reads about Romanians in Italy or the standoff in Belgium between the two groups or the Irish and Welsh vs. the English or "anti-Polish" sentiment in Europe, one starts to realize that if they were all put in multiethnic countries they would probably have very serious issues as well.this is exactly what nigeria needs now. |
Onlytruth: Would you say that "federal character" is serving Nigeria well in things like science/technology,innovation and growth of a modern economy?nigeria's problem is just too complex some things will take decades to solve if we start today while some will require some form of violent revolution. |
