Obi should prepare for 2027.

Life goes on!
That's the best advise. . I am a serious Obi supporter. . But right now, Nigeria does not have the financial muscle to bear the cost of an election re-run, neither can we survive the coat of cancelling all the have been installed now for a new one. .

We (Nigeria) is on a very thin line right now financially. . Let's try and see what this man, Tinubu will do for now. .

3 months before the inauguration and hand over is a enough time for all litigations to be sorted out.
How on earth does anyone intend to remove a sitting president in a fantastically corrupt country like Nigeria?
The constitution should be amended.
It is still possible bro. .

If Jonathan can be removed while sitting in power via an election process that he initiated, then it is possible.

Am sorry to say this, take that boy she just had for a DNA test. Then monitor her calls for a while for your own good. Am talking from experience.

I was so angry reading his post. Someone who calls himself a husband is using words like; "collected a loan on her behalf", sacrificed for her", spent unplanned money for her C.S. just imagine undecided

I don't know why every shit should be brought to front page or don't the mods go through posts before bringing them here huh
He is speaking from his perspective and being honest and I can understand him perfectly considering the president economic situation. .

You are speaking from your perspective too and I can clearly reason your view and honesty.

That is why marriage requires a lot of maturity and widening of the heart. It is not for the spontaneous, aggressive nor egomaniac.

You’re just a stupid man, I don’t know you but you Sound like one cocky piece of crap. Your stupid ego will soon scatter your marriage, just 300k that you’re here looking for gratitude a woman that could have lost her life in childbirth or worse.

A woman who has sacrificed her body to give you two kids. You are the problem of your marriage. Imagine using the word taming your wife as if she’s a dog you dey tame. Your wife might be going thru post depression of childbirth. Instead of sorting things out you’re here typing rubbish to talk nonsense about her. So let’s hate her now.
It is their child.

Yes, for the husband to have "tamed" her until this point, I think she must have been a good wife (presumably). . Most likely she could not cope with his controlling and non-appreciative ways any longer.

Also, pls note that she was not forced into marriage and the pregnancy conception, I believe.

Yes, she has gone through a lot for about 9 months, and as you mentioned risking her life in process . . But, it is to give birth to her child and his.

Marriage is for the matured really, for it to properly work out. Our mothers didn't disrespect their husbands after giving birth to several children. .

The man sounds quite immature too. . But he made financial sacrifices, while the lady also made bodily sacrifices too. .

She is supposed to behave properly to her husband irregardless of this situation. . Except she does not love him or has been deeply hurt somewhere or someway.

300k indexed to the mans' current financial situation might be a lot of money. . He is concerned about his marriage and trying to find a solution. . That shows commitment. . Is the woman in same shoes?

Where is all these extreme thoughts coming from nowadays from our ladies & men. . It is very sad.

My blood is burning now as I write. My wife has now completely changed for bad, a few days after our second child.

An erstwhile submissive woman that i thought i had tamed for life has now become a thorn in the flesh to me. I just parted with over 300k unplanned fund for her C.S. I thought she'd be more respectful to me now but no,she has changed completely!

She dares me to do my worst, she cries over small issues that i wonder if it's witchcraft.Or she thinks I can't quit cos she's got two boys for me? The mind boggles. Am just mad and gobsmacked at the same time as all my Red pill O.T have failed and am even considering divorce right now.

Well, it does stop each one of them to meet fuel at N700 at filling station tomorrow. . neither does it stop them at buying bread at N1,200 on the streets of Lagos tomorrow. .

U see, the little dragon that you allow to enter your premise via the gate, will grow in there, and become a very big monster in few years . .

Even when Nigerians are pushed to the wall, I have noticed tru their deceitful nature, that they will start digging hole in the wall instead of addressing what chasing them to the extreme edge. .
Politics › Re: Subsidy Pains: NLC Vows To Ground The Economy, Begins Strike by Basicend:
The absolute truth remains that any true reasonable leader would have seen that the Nigerian economy is not yet ripe for total removal of govt cushions / subsidies in some areas until modalities have been put in place to absorb it's effects on the gross welfare of citizenry.

He could have removed fuel (PMS) subsidy, which could be reasonable in a way, if truly the proceeds from it will be amortized properly, I mean, minimizing corruption in processing. .

But SHOULD have continued to find ways to uphold the Naira value against FX till modalities are in place for gradual removal of govt cushioning's.

These 2 variables above are the core that is affecting the vagaries of the Nigerian economy now. Coz we are import oriented.

If Naira in official terms had remained within the threshold of 460 - 500 USD, the effect will still be manageable until gradual solutions are introduced.

I am sorry to Tinubu's supporters who does not like the truth, but I believe that he removed all those subsidies coz he was trying to recoup his investments into the election quickly. Our leaders in Africa are too evil, heartless, selfish and greedy.

If Tinubu really wanted to indeed carry the burden of the nation, he could salvaged something for Nigeria at this critical time.

Romance › Re: Relationships Are Now More Difficult Than Ever. by Basicend: 10:27am On Sep 03, 2023
Stephen2324:
Relationships are now more difficult than ever. Everyone is being wary and careful of the other person. Men don't trust ladies and ladies don't trust men. Everyone is on the edge, suspicious of the words and actions of other person. Distrust everywhere.

Voluntary unions are now built on falsehood and distrust. No one wants to be the fool. No one wants to be the "mugu". Everyone wants to be the smart one.

The winner of this unfortunate battlefield is he who has the least emotions and who cares less. It is more sad when one realises that these are two species that are meant to work together in a physical and spiritual upbuilding but this is where we are today.

More sad is that, it will get worse as time passes because even these wrong values are being passed on to the younger generation who cling to it more firmly and build on it. Building on the wrong values with so much energy and talent, directed in the wrong direction. And when one seeks to find the root cause of this pain and scar we all bear, we end up going round in circles and plunging ourselves into the very entities that birthed these false attitudes. A vicious cycle.

We are like a legion of lost souls in a dark enclosed tunnel, getting in eachother's way just to find a way out but without a genuine desire to change from within.
It is majorly because of the financial situation of the world.

God only can still give one a genuine and lasting relationship.

However, I must admit that greed has eaten deep into most shepherds today.
