JOSE MOURINHO After his loss to Barcelona in last season’s champions league semi-final: "[Wednesday] once again showed that you don't stand a chance against Barcelona. Uefa doesn't allow any team to really do something against them. I really don't know what's behind all this. Maybe it's their ties with Unicef or maybe it's because they just find Barcelona a sympathetic club. I've been wondering about this all my life and I'll get an answer one day." "I don't know why the referee sent me to the stands. I just laughed and applauded his decision. That's all I did. My career will probably be over if I tell him and Uefa how I feel about all this. I have only one question and that's: 'Why?' We could have played for three more hours and would not have conceded. We couldn't lose this game with our tactical plan. "[Didier] Drogba was punished for the semi-finals [in 2009], while both [Thiago] Motta and [Jose] Bosingwa couldn't play in finals because there were both dismissed. The same thing happened to [Arsene] Wenger, who had to deal with the suspension of Samir Nasri after their encounter. This time, I was the one who was punished and I shouldn't even be here [in the press room]." JOHN TERRY "In this game we had six or seven penalty claims waved away and that is astonishing,Why did we get a referee who has officiated in 10 games in the Champions League in his career? To be given the Champions League semi-final, that's not good enough. It's down to Uefa to be strong. They should say: 'These are our four best referees, they are going to be refereeing the two home and two away legs.' He simply wasn't good enough. All we want is a fair playing surface. Not one player made one mistake in the two legs. The referee has made four or five or six big errors and now we're out the competition. The word conspiracy is maybe the wrong one. It's difficult when players are so high on emotion after a game. People are saying we shouldn't have reacted the way we did but the fact is that six decisions went against us. For the ref not to give one of them is unusual. I'm fully behind Didier and the way he reacted, But the fact is the referee is the one who should face the consequences, not Didier." ARSENE WENGER “I am still convinced that in the second half they weakened a lot and that at 1-1 if it had stayed at 11-11 we would have won this tie tonight.” “I told him [the referee] what I think about his decision face-to-face and I think there is not a lot more to say about that.” GUUS HIDDINK People are making suggestions, but it's difficult to prove things, Conspiracy is a very tough word and you have to be able to prove it. But when you analyse things closely, then I also start thinking Hiddink said: "You can never prove this but it's just sad and it's out of emotion but if you see five, six situations, not just one, " "We are so disappointed because there are two issues. One is that we could have and should have scored in some open situations and because we talk a lot about the not given penalties. "Didier's shirt-pulling is okay, we had (Thierry] Henry's situation in Barcelona, okay. But there were three other situations that were so clear. I shall not say what we really feel but it's injustice. "It's not just that you can be mistaken. It's difficult, for instance, for the red card of Abidal on Anelka – difficult because, I think, Anelka was through, he touched with his left leg Anelka. "You can discuss these situations for a referee. "But if you have seen clearly and he was five yards away], if you have seen clearly the ball on Pique, If he was blocked there is also an assistant referee. "There's one I think with the shot on Eto'o and he's turning around and you have to have your arms down. Those two situations make you think." ROBIN VAN PERSIE In my opinion it was a total joke, the sending off, How can I hear his whistle with 95,000 people jumping up. How can I hear that, for God's sake? Please explain me that. "You can say we feet betrayed a bit because everyone fought so hard. When it was 1-1, it was all to play for. In my opinion, that referee today killed the game. "I could understand that view from the referee when there are four, five or six seconds in between and you make a chip or something. That I could understand. "But this way, one second from his whistle to my shot, it's a joke. He's been bad all evening. He's been a joke all evening, whistling against us. So I don't know why he is he here tonight. I think it's a joke. DIDIER DROGBA turn to a television camera crew on the pitch and shout: "Are you watching this? It's a disgrace. It's a bleeping disgrace." ARSENE WENGER “I deny completely any charge. I do not understand where that comes from, It is a shame for me that the referee took the decision to send Robin Van Persie off. It was the wrong decision. “The first leg was a fantastic advert for football and the second game has been destroyed. People now will only remember the sending off. It would be good for Uefa to show some humility, to apologise for what has happened, not charge people who have done nothing wrong.” BETFAIR "Real players are sent off when they shouldn't have been, Barca's get away with murder, penalties aren't awarded to his team but they're awarded against his sides. It's all engineered to stop him on his tracks and prevent him from winning yet another Champions League title." Michael Ballack, then the captain of Germany, chased the official around the field in protest. Jose Bosingwa, another Chelsea player called the referee a cheat, at which time he was handed a 2 match ban from UEFA. |

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has accused Mourinho of wrecking Spanish football.Extract No, it's the constant match fixing in favor of Barcelona that is destroying Spanish football and has made it completely boring to watch. Two crucial Champions' League matches last season where a red card was handed out for no reason to Barcelona opponents (Van Persie and Pepe both cases did nothing wrong, Pepe didn't even make contact for his supposed red card lol) I shudder to think with match fixes like this in Champions' League what must it be like in the domestic league where Barcelona are almost always playing against 10 or less men from the match reports I've seen last year. You would think with Barcelona's world famous play acting every time an opponent comes close to touching them that refs would become skeptical and give out fewer red cards not more, but that would be assuming the refs are honest and not taking bribes or being influenced with threats, blackmail, and intimidation. Match fixing is ruining football in Europe, the only real hope for change is if the major professional clubs break off from FIFA and form an independent organization while implementing things like use of video replay and an official time keeper (fixed time, no leaving it up to ref "discretion" to decide when he wants the match to end). Football is undoubtedly the most corrupt sport in the world, and the point becomes completely blatant when you realize they don't even use simple technologies such as video review, goal line technology, or even objective time keeping (15th Century technology btw, not exactly cutting edge to have an objective observer stop the clock each time there is stoppage of play and then ring a bell when 90 minutes are up) The reason why the simplest of technologies And precautions are not implemented in professional football to stop match fixing is because, you do the math, at a certain point when someone fails to stop corruption that is blatant and obvious and simple to fix then you have to wonder if they are not benefitting from the corruption in some way. Every other professional sport in the world has things like video review and objective time keeping, only in football is it allowed that constant referee "errors" and "judgment" decides who wins and who oses the game. After all, if the ref wants one team to win it is simple enough to send off one of their players, ignore all fouls their opponents do against them and give four extra minutes of stoppage time, if all else fails just award a dodgy penalty, end of story. This subject concerns Barcelona because they are the worst offender since Juventus was uncovered, notice how Juventus has never been a top team again in the years since their match fixing was stopped. These are all opinions of course, but whoever has eyes to see can see the truth of it. Coming back with the link!!!! |

They hardly seek office with the intention to loot. In Nigeria we buy, fight and slaughter our political enemies on our way to office with only one thing in mind which is to Steal!!!!
