Just when you thought wardrobe malfunctions were a thing of the past, along came Usher. The R&B superstar performed a trio of tracks at the William J. Clinton Decade of Difference Concert. While on stage, the dancing machine accidentally split his pants down the left leg. Not one to miss a beat, the singer had a smooth recovery, even making light of the unplanned split. He donned his shades, pointed to the growing hole, and said with a smile, "I work hard." Indeed he does.

Rihanna is hot -- and not just when it comes to her career. In addition to Billboard's recent announcement that she just bested Madonna to become the fastest solo artist to chart 20 songs in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart, the 23-year-old pop star has been named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive. Joining the ranks of such Hollywood hotties as Minka Kelly, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, and Scarlett Johansson, Rihanna reveals in the magazine that she doesn't think of herself as sexy -- even after she struts her stuff at one of her racy shows. "At the end of a concert, I don't feel like I've been this sexy thing," Rihanna admits. "Really, I don't even think about it." 25 Sexy Dating Rules RiRi swears that most of the time, she's not trying to be provocative , even during those, uh, provocative dances onstage. "Unless it's a song that really calls for it, like 'Skin' or 'S&M,' or when I cover [Prince's] 'Darling Nikki.' There's a section that's called 'Sex' in the show, which is the obvious section for sexuality." Hmmm , I can think of at least one person who would disagree: The farmer in Northern Ireland who insisted Rihanna stop filming a music video in his field last month after he felt she was showing too much skin! Why Men Loved Women More Than Ever in 2011! The "Rude Boy" songstress even opens up to the magazine about her feelings toward Chris Brown, the ex-boyfriend who physically abused her. "It's incredible to see how he pulled out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know?" Rihanna tells the mag. "I really like the music he's putting out. I'm a fan of his stuff. I've always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I've put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I'm really excited to see the breakthrough he's had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have." Rihanna, in case you haven't noticed, has got plenty of other things to do. http://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/a-line/rihanna-named-esquires-sexiest-woman-alive/912 |

@zatas, the biggest culprits are women! How many men go to churches and mosque wearing singlets, arm less tees pimped up hair and studs like terry G. |

Standards of modesty vary by culture, or generation and vary depending on who is exposed, which parts of the body are exposed, the duration of the exposure, the context. The context would include matters such as whether it is in one's own home, at another family member's home, at a friend's home, at a semi-public place, at a beach, swimming pool (including whether such venues are considered clothes-optional), changing rooms or other public places. For instance, wearing a bathing suit at the beach would not be considered immodest, while it likely would be in a street or an office. What is considered "modest" in this context will depend on the context when the clothes will be worn and can vary between religions, cultures, generations, occasions, and the persons who are present. Displaying cleavage is considered permissible in many settings, and is even a sign of elegance and sophistication on many formal social occasions, but it may be considered inappropriate in settings such as workplaces, churches and schools. Modesty has been and continues to be considered important in Islamic society, but the interpretation of what dress constitutes modesty varies. One traditional opinion is that Muslim women are required to observe the hijab, covering everything but the hands and face, as a sign of modesty. Some Muslims are of the opinion that modesty is not restricted to dress but also depends on the intentions of the individual and that the Quran does not command the hijab or the like. Modesty in Judaism, called Tzniut, is important beyond aspects of clothing. It extends to behaviour in public and in private, and depends on the context. In Judaism, women wear skirts to their knees and to cover their elbows, with blouses covering the collarbone and sleeves coming to or covering elbows. See-through materials may not be used and clothes are expected not to be tight-fitting, provocative, loud in color, or display texts. It is the custom for an observant married Jewish woman to cover her hair in public, and sometimes at home. The hair covering may be a scarf, hat, snood called a Tichel , or a wig called a Sheitel Catholics are expected to dress modestly. The wearing of a headcovering was for the first time mandated as a universal rule for the Latin Rite by the Code of Canon Law of 1917. which code was abrogated by the advent of the present (1983) Code of Canon Law,. Apart from that, there have never been any "official" guidelines issued by the Catholic Church. But, from time to time the Church hierarchy, and even some popes, have given opinions on various matters; although these "guidelines" are not binding on Catholics, many tradition-minded Catholics find them persuasive. Pope Pius XII stated that women should cover their upper arms and shoulders, that their skirts should cover at least as far as the knee, and the neckline should not reveal anything.Another example is Giuseppe Cardinal Siri of Genoa, who stated that trousers were unacceptable dress for women. Many tradition-minded Catholics have attempted to further expand on this latter standard. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has issued official statements on modest dress for its members. Clothing which can stimulate sexual desires, such as "short shorts and skirts, tight clothing, and shirts that do not cover the stomach are discouraged, this is part of the Law of Chastity. Men and women are also encouraged to avoid extremes in clothing or hairstyles. Rules on modesty also include women being asked to wear no more than one pair of earrings. Many other Trinitarian Christians also consider modesty extremely important, though considerable differences of opinion exist about its requirements and purposes. Amish groups and some Mennonite groups are known for their adherence to modest fashion styles. Evangelical Christians and Holiness Christians also have strict guidelines on modesty. My stand! @coogar, I may be wrong but I still stand by my point. What is wrong is wrong. No two ways about it. This same African mentality you are referring too. We don't leave our homes heading to the beach to catch fun in blazers. We don't go to our white collar jobs in bumper shorts. We don't visit your in laws in bikinis. Every clothing has its time, place and effects. Why make it different with your maker. |
Nigerian Pastors, Indian pastors or Western pastors ![]() They are all the same abeg. They preach from the same source and bend the books to fit their individual styles. The hypocrisy is same everywhere, we get to read these stories on the internet on regular basis. Let's call a spade a spade. You don't need a third eye to know the difference between an indecent dressing and a decent one. |

I'm sure a "National Coat of Arms" podium would have been placed at the hospital and a pre-written "we are on top of the situation" speech placed on it in anticipation of awaiting bomb victims. Heartless Cowards!!! ![]() |
But when we are discussing infrastructure and development, it's your type that is quick to point to the west |
moremi2008:That's your cousin's destiny. Back in the days, getting into unity schools was strictly on merit. Myself, Elder brother and younger sister all went to different FGCs. The last of our family went to an over-rated private boarding school which eventually turned out to be waste of funds. Too many spoilt brats and it wasn't competitive enough for him. He had to keep changing schools till he finally passed out! |
O boi! See frustration on this thread! ![]() |
rafhell: WebSurfer:Like the report said, it is a communal clash, not a religious war. Lingyado village is just some kilometres away from Zuru in Kebbi. Will you be saying the same if it spreads to Zuru and villagers there are also wiped off! Zuru people are also Aboki's and are predominantly Christians. They are northerners( "evil with unforgiving spirit" ). |
